Spacebar not working

Is this part of the keyboard? Found this on my desk next to the keyboard..0 clue what it is. Also..been running into an issue where my spacebar stops working. Any clue why that is?

Try unplugging and replugging the keyboard to recalibrate, don't touch any keys until the LEDs boot up

No idea what that thing is though lol
