Address issue - Ireland, rural address
Apologies if it's not allowed to comment in another persons support center but I thought to ask because we use Fedex/TNT at my workplace whether your address contains any non A-Z 0-9 characters?
No, it contains all english characters A-Z and 0-9
I believe the issue may be that in rural ireland we do not have house numbers or road names
And I'm guessing you put your Eire code for Postal/Zipcode?
Just name, area, county, eircode
Yeah, we have nightmares trying to ship stuff to Ireland because couriers struggle with the lack of house numbers and streets. Usually an Eircode is fine though. We even went to the extent of using photos of google maps to ensure delivery 😅 Best of luck to having this sorted
Eh whatever, I'll just add the area next to me as the address 1/2 to fill the boxes
Never have I had a company request information more than my address before, it's weird
When I have doubts about an address, I'll toss the order into that workflow to ensure it gets looked at and confirmed before it ships out. Far better to "delay" by a day or two to ensure the original shipment delivers than having to deal with the RMA/replacement process after something fails to deliver
If it's all good as written and you're sure of that fact, respond with that via email and we'll send it out the door
It's much easier to spend the extra time to get it right before it's sent than dealing with couriers and customs after it's shipped when it's harder to deal with.
And more expensive
