The physical key itself or the input? If the input isn’t staying crouched and is acting buggy I would try unplugging and replugging the keyboard after a few seconds, making sure you’re not touching any of the keys. This will recalibrate the keys. If it’s the key itself which feels weird then I would replace the switch with one of the two extra you have in your 60he box.

That looks to me like the foam underneath the keyboard - yes you can cut it as it is completely non-functional (only for sound purposes), but personally I would unplug the keyboard, and follow this guide (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PsRcYxZgBCo) to remove the pcb from the case. Then reposition the foam correctly inside the case.
