Native dpi of a mouse sensor is kind of tricky. Officially the 3360 which their sensor is based on supports 12k dpi however this is a modified version so it probably supports 18k.
Effectively the resolution is a lot lower and depends on primarily the speed of movement and the surface.
Also it seems pretty logical that a higher sampling rate causes more noise. if you have a max 12k fps sensor (like the 3360) 2k polling rate vs 1k polling rate is the difference between averaging out over 6 or 12 frames which should matter a lot.
But really there are not a lot of people who would actually benefit from going over 5k dpi or 1k polling rate

Pretty much yeah, or anything that givest highest FPS in games so RAM boosts that further. GPU is irrelevant at higher framerates because everything is min/maxed and put on the lowest settings
