I'm so done with both Razer and Corsair at this point.

Razer installs rootkits that mess with a lot of drivers, and every single Razer mouse I've owned has broken down within warranty. Same with both of my Corsair Harpoon mice - Both have developed double clicking at random.

Unfortunately, write perf is cut in half for all single chiplet Ryzen 3000 CPUs, and 29333 MB/s seems to be the hard cap for 1833 IF (or 58667 for full performance). Copy and read suffer a small hit (5-10%) vs. a 3900X/3950X.
At 1900 IF I'd get around 32-33000 MB/s and 2-3ns less latency.

Oh, and tweaking memory gave me ~15% CPU perf in games and similar applications that depends on memory over stock XMP (3600 16-16-16)

The topic was about a keyboard with the numpad to the left instead of the right.

@slow mortar The mouse is available since decades. If the numpad would solve the ergonomic problems if it was on the left it would be done that way a long time ago and would be standard now. Again, if you can only can think about gaming just use a TKL or even smaller keyboard and a separate macro device! For office usage a normal full size keyboard is still the best all-rounder. You don't have any space problems on an office desk and there you typically only type or use the mouse and not both simultaneously. Controlling a software is more like gaming, because then you should use specialised devices or you only need a few keys. And again gaming is a complete different story. So please don't bother me because you mix things up.

Nearly every use case has a different perfect setup. For gaming you only need a few keys, so why not using I, K, J & L for moving, then you have plenty keys to the left for macros available and the space between your two hands are even smaller. The J key has a marking so you can find it easily and by reprogramming the keys (in or outside the game) you have no downsides. Just don't stick to W, S, A & D.

The two centimeters to the left would not make any difference... If it would be to the right the two centimeters can be problematic with the mouse maybe, but not to the left because then you have two centimeters more and not less.

my main issue is that synapse uses 800mb of ram at all times with nothing connected, and 930mb with a single wraith prism cooler connected up with chroma connect
