the lube will be rip
and basically any switch will come prelubed
well, I guess wooting did their part in this vid
although it may be from a gigabyte K9

I mean... Yeah you're right. At this point there's a focus on anything but tech and specs 😄
I mean
Seems like it would be easier to relube switches than it would be to fully clean a crusty kb
there are only SO many releases each year
and GN would beat LTT in actual performance analysis etc
@feral jolt lubing 100 switches easily takes a few hours
especially untrained
and you'd also have to desolder the whole board
You dont just lube the stem?
well
you have to get the stem out
and you should lube the bottom housing as well
ideally the springs as well
to disassemble the switch you have to get it out of the board anyways
Meh... I takes me about an hour of water and q-tips to clean a keyboard. And I can do that while watching Netflix.
I'll bet taking apart 105 switches to relube them takes longer 😄
oh
takign apart the switches is a matter of a second each
if you have the tool for it
the lubing easily takes like 2 hours though
idk, you should know better than us if that is a custom made one or some generic that wooting selected to use
i know wootings puller aint anything special
but they have had some keebs from wooting
The pullers given were the proto ones i think
no logo etc

Smol PC
OOOO what specs?
8700K (on AIO) and a 1660TI. 1,5 TB NVME
no good then
dual ryze epyc, 2tb ram and a dual 2080ti setup
in SFF
otherwise gtfo
dang
and maybe misbought my cpu
well more or less
its more like
i could have gotten smth a tiny bit better
can you lay it horizontal?
can i lay you horizontally?
tehe
psure this came out wrong after reading that a few times
i mean as in
can you lay down?
if so the pc can aswell
🤔
wtf is a 2066?
😄
intel HEDT socket
Super* you forgot super.
shit
in comes Asrock with a mini ITX 3657 mainboard

look at that nice IO
who needs more than 2 usb ports anyways
btw
there are 2 versions
one supports 6 channel memory with two additional ram slots on the back
the other one has 2 m.2 slots instead
btw @fair gull we got a shitton of HP DL380 G8 at owrk
guess the price we pay for each server with a random CPU or more likely even 2
0
nah
-10
we DID pay for them
with ur souls?
lol
the guy had like 300
we bought quite a couple
lol
apparently he gets old hardware from datacenters
and they jsut throw out stuff like that
last time we got DL380 G7 for metal scrap prices
how much mem did they have
all were empty
exactly
id be really happy if i could get one of them with 2 cpus
dont care bout drives (i assume none in them anyway) or ethernet port speed
iirc gen 8 had at least 1gbit
if not 10
yea I'll see if I can organize it
Gen 8 is 1gbit
although the ports aren't fixed except the ilo port
ya then they have the perf models with 10gbit
the rest can be swapped for infiniband
which is what i wanted to do anyway
saves me from building a nas tho
or well building a new one
plus inhouse linux server
I also already designed a 3d printable caddy for it
or well rather modified on from thingiverse
so it doesn't suck
nice
oof
let's go to dms
@reef patrol @wheat plume https://discordjs.moe/cMwcvNYJSe.png
its doable
4gpus
in itx
or whatever that is
woahhh
That case is loads bigger than mine though.
whats ur case
But with the right case you can definitely do wonders.
This is how mine basically looks now. It's a sentry 2.0
The lid touches the PSU and SSD. Zero wasted space.
lid touches the psu????? that sounds like you're gonna short your pc, did you not pay attention to the pc building video?

that is a long boi
thats a sentry 2.0
is that a no-psu build or what
yes
nice
it runs on magic
smart
the sentry is flat
its a tardis design
It sure is. Width of s USB stick.
it is more spacious than it looks
It really isn't.
I've spent the last hour fighting to get the lid to close. You really need some sleeved custom cables to make it work well.

good
Fully support that vs using windows 7
Am gud
Amen to that.
I feel like a few tweaks could greatly improve windows 10
One is that annoying search bar that generally leads me to google when I just want it to search through my own damn programs
Another is the whole apps vs programs thing that barely makes sense to me
Oh I need to do that setting
I still preferred the old style programs in older windows
the win 10 search bar is great imo
It’s great but also really bad
yea
Apps can go suck an egg.
yup
Typing in 3 letters and it finds what I want, hitting the 4th and it no longer has any results
And the search bar is really finicky
I feel like I'm forced to always keep a windows explorer window open
The other thing they need to fix is the wooting sleep bug
that is a bios setting
I have no power saving saving options on as far as I can tell
Where do I find that
USB settings?
It's weird because it doesnt happen after my windows falls from the timer but happens every time I manually press the sleep button
Kb goes into a weird low power state where its essentially unusable and doesnt register all keypresses
Fixed easily by replugging it though
yea its not a consistent issue which makes it even worse
I legit sometimes have stuff that is found if I type in 3 letters, but any more and no results show up
the most issues i actually have is when i try searching system shit on german windows
finds fuck all
"Windows-Features hinzufügen oder entfernen"
or I type "stea" first result it Steps Recorder
second results is some steam oculus json file
if I then add an m to make it "steam" it shows me teamspeak 3 as only result
I have that at work
Vplan shows a planning tool called visual planning
Vplanning (which is in the name of the file) gives me something else
well websearch can fuck right off
can never be assed disabling it over and over
Lol
but ya i dont have issues either with normal stuff
happens on both my english windows at home and german windows at work
only really specific control panel shit
Makes me not use the desktop even more
Worst part about win 10 is the new settings menu
i dont even display the app list
most annoying is when I type in "mod" first result is Libre Office (Safe Mode) and not ModAssistant
i mean why would i
mines just nexus MM
well its modassistant for beat saber so its unlikely you have that one
why do you ahve it if it came out after you sold your oculus
Because my friend would come over with his sometimes
That's only twice the size of the drive. How have you not written more
cos my samsung 850 was 250gb
my point is... i have had this m2 for a feew days
and its written 0.45tb
Maybe it was previously used? Huehue.
Does seem like a lot though. Maybe install an app that tracks writes? Seems like you have something that's caching back and forth a LOT.
its not a lot
but its weird
lol
Im to scared to wipe my 850
xD
idk why
My Samsung wasn't bad when it came to writes
I'll be honest. I've upgraded my disks so often, that it hasn't been an issue.
I installed a 1TB NVME a few weeks ago, so I know have 2TB in total. Honestly only my 2TB Mech drive could be worn at this point. 😄
firefox, whatsapp and system are top 3
firefox makes sense since im streaming rn
make me
already done them
lol
again off :p
id rather not
what about ultrafetch
i was making a joke
also turned off
Ye
never seen them
xD
i never use lock anyway
its either on, off or unlocked
ofc
i cloned my os
So all my settings are there
since when
Since always
turning cortana off via reg always killed search
i shall try
after i finish this ep
nice it worked
but i swear it used to break search
Cortana is getting axed soon anyway, bitch already isn't part of search anymore and on other platforms she's not really supported anymore
lul
nvm
it works
jsut the store reeset
idk why
i love not being able to see loading screens in my games anymore

I have to many SSDs now
Lol
2x 250gb (1 being Samsung 850)
1x 500GB (Used for games and user files)
1x 120gb
And i have a 2tb HDD i never use
250/500/1tb and each bought for about the same price
bit cheaper even
so glad dram prices went down lmao
same same
m2 1tb for 98 quid
fast as samsung
madness
vs just the last few years
altough the 250 one is mlc the other two are tlc so that also helped for the price
so samsung and western digital
oh ye and my 2tb is WD
no, sandisk is owned by WD
yes
TIL
Also what do you guys call a drive thats private other than private? atm on my NAS i just have 2 main folders
shared
- ISOs
- Media
- etc
home_files
- Backups
- VM files etc
Mine are called Local Disk or Volume, because those were the default names
was that a stroke or what is hgst
to what
oh jc just say hitachi, but ye they also belong to wd
you got spare 4tb laying around?
oh ye
cloud backup on 6mb
lol
id love to
all i can afford is ram for you
not a nas
i already have
i got your address
remember
Nope
Damn
just sent it to me, I have open ram slots
Glitter bomb is going to the wrong place.
Fuck
RIP my 20 quid
I have
whoeever is at your old place
is gonna have a surprise
yes
you can buy boxes of shizz too....

make what happen
*by their powers combined
Alright - Y'all win. Corsair can't do mice either.
My Harpoon has started double clicking.

My corsair case is pretty meh. Next build will be fractal or lian li probably
ive gone with bequiet for mine
the 500r is 130€ if i saw that right
u can get shit tons better than that ugly thing
like genuinly looked shit
Yeah it's pretty expensive for a "low end"
or famas
looked like a 40€ case
lian li cases are also like 140-200€ usually
so if the 500r is lowend then idk what highend is
diamond encrusted
or smth
Lian li naming scheme is
for my smol American brain
500r is old
So prices are wack
O11 dynamic/ O11 dynamic XL are the only ones ai could ever afford anyways
At least unless I earn quite a bit more lol
Never say Impossible. - As TX has done it, SX OS now runs on the Switch Lite!

Here - We - Go - Bois

Now we just need to hear if it's a software mod or a modchip, which rumors have mentioned.
i somehow feel like its a chip
It would be hilarious if they found another unpatchable backdoor 😄
What is SX OS?
its cfw running opensource code but locked behind a paywall of 25bucks
only has like 2 advantages
firmware install from files while horizon is running
and
usb hdd loader
well and the xci loader but
i dont consider it really a feature
Nah that sounds pretty normal
SD cards are slow
10 MB/s or so
At the fastest
Older ones are only 2 MB/s
Yeah you can get faster ones, but they are pricy. There's a reason why RED cameras and such use SSDs
Hehe
They’re just standard m.2s with some proprietary firmware iirc
Which means you can’t just plug in a standard off the shelf ssd into a red
the firmware isnt even proprietary
the only thing special is how they are written to
aka cant plug em in directly to any pc
need the red hardware
or reverse how they write and write custom software
5600 XT seems to have the same ammount of cores as the 5700 non-XT so I wonder if you can just OC it to similar levels for cheap, if you dont get a really bad chip
I wonder when we will finally get a big card from AMD again
prob after rtx 3000 next year, maybe same time if we get lucky
maybe we'll get some gpu news at ces this year in additon to cpu news if we're lucky
No they're definitely M.SATA, Ares. You can tell by the fact they're wider than M.2
My bad but the point still stands that their just normal ssds
apparently wireshark is an illegal hackertool in germany now
what
didnt know we have illegal hackertools
so ill just use my router then if i cant use wireshark
well we have them now
and apparently it is compeltely based on, on what forums the tools are introduced

That's so weird. We were instructed to use Wireshark in a few of our networking classes a while back
used it a lot back in the day, havent used it in years though
I remember looking for it not that long ago and the download was missing a part of it that made it fully funtional. Maybe they had to remove a part for something but I remember it not being fully useable in the state I got it
libpcap?
Oh, maybe that was it. I remember not looking into it because I didnt actually need to use it
Mouse nerds. What do you suggest for a wireless mouse? I seem to recall a lot of Y'all recommending one specific logitech one that is super light...but I can't remember the model no 😛
g pro
I'm really tempted to get a dedicated drive for page filing.
Because I feel like adding more complexity is a good solution to the computer acting like a big dumb.
is anyone using the google dns server here? trying to figure out if my connection has issues or if it was the dns
well im using cloudflare now but idk if it was just a short error or if that fixed it
no as in, I switch and it works, then I go back and it works again
so idk if it my connections or my dns was down for like half a minute
yes, oh yeah so it wasnt the dns
right
nah
only if it happens again
But the G-Pro isn't wireless, @ashen spindle ? 😦
Oh sweet jesus it's expensive.
well its one of the best mouse AND wireless :p
¯_(ツ)_/¯ not a fan of any wireless options there yet so havent looked at prices either
g305 > GPW
imo
prefer the shape, a third of the price and with a AAA lithium, foil ball and no battery cover you are at ~73.5g
so ~6.5g lighter than the GPW
and even ~0.5g lighter than the Viper Ultimate
g502 also has the wireless variant called lightspeed, but idk why you'd want a wireless brick
well its not the name for the g pro wireless
¯_(ツ)_/¯
(ノಥ益ಥ)ノ

lightspeed is the name of the logitech wireless protocol
the GPW is also marketed with it
only exception is the G900 and G403 wireless afaik
which also use the tech but not the name
It's weird that wireless is just a cost thing, and they've finally made it worth using if you have the money
I refuse to give up Logitech's Hyperscroll, I paid 50 for my G502 hero
hyperscroll wheels are all shit
too heavy
so they have too much inertia
tactility is completely gone
but you need that inertia for hyperscrolling
a feature you can easily just don't use anymore
cant live without my hyperscroll
try it
and you won't need it anymore
press the wheel in and drag
while holding it clicked in
works better than hyperscrolling
more precise
and normal scrolling isn't shit
i can feel the steps pretty distinctly when im not in hyperscroll though?
lol
because when i want to hyperscroll i dont need the tactility?
there are more than a dozen deathadders
that's fair, i dont know which one it was
modern ones with good sensors all have decent wheels
even then hyperscrolling is uncontrolled af
when a standard feature of any mouse with a wheel serves a better option
I've never used a mouse that was fine without it.
well I guess you either only used shit mice
or pretend like it is the greatest thing ever and you couldn't do without
the scroll on my g900 is better than the g502, which i agree suffers from too soft ticks
g900 still has the same problem
Yeah, I'm only pretending to like it to spite you in particular.
even though the wheel is imporved
no you put hte value of that feature higher than it should be
there were worse things
Because I use my mouse for different things than you.
the trend to put buttons everywhere
the trend to increase weight
thick braided cables
you dont get to decide how highly i value a feature though? i like having more buttons on my mouse than the standard 5 also
you have the right to dislike it but i dont understand why you need to tell other people to not use it
DPI adjustment, forward and back, and the button on the side I use for PTT
I use dpi adjustment
forward and back are legitimate reasons for buttons
If I use it, and want to continue using it, then it's a valid thing to have on my mouse.
I mean there is a reason why the big companies shift to lighter weight, less buttons and better cables
and only a few mice specifically made for mmos don't care about that
Because they're selling mice for people who aren't me?
I often use extrabuttons on mice to bind Macros on it, sometimes you can bind every button you need for a game to the mouse.
I know those are especially FPS
I like heavier mice.
but even then, macro buttons on a mice are basically useless
otherwise we would still be stuck in the dpi race
Why?
you have a keyboard right in front of you
~60-100 buttons with any number of layers
in what situation do you gain anything from mouse macros
A keyboard with 109 buttons that need to stay the same because you also have to type with them.
I ask if you can give me a counterargument
and the argument is "you are unreasonable"
give me what you would use extra buttons on a mouse for besides forward and back
and don't say "macros"
give me a specific usecase
besides mmos
which are the exception I brought up
got a keyboard
Because we've had this conversation before and your reason for not liking hyperscroll was that you didn't like it, and my reason for loving it is that I do like it and use it constantly despite having used everything SteelSeries, Razer, and Corsair have put out.
i have a mouse button for ptt
won't throw off your aim
I use extra button on my mouse for quickly toggling mic mute, very useful don't know where I would have it on keyboard
In nearly every new game I played in the last time (e. g.: Borderlands 3) there are so many Parts there you just only have to walk... and walk.. until you are the the target. I hate it to have all the time long both hands in use
I know cs isn;t an aim heavy game
and even then
you don;t need forward and back in cs
so you have 2 buttons free
ok, best sensor in a mouse sub 100g with decent balance and 5 extra buttons?
God forbid I throw off my aim in Fusion360, I could have 180 no-scoped that junction but I wasted .8ms getting to it.
Clearly the part has killed me
actual worktasks are a completely diferent thing
Flem
but if you have enough macros to need a mouse for it you might as well use keyboard macros
I've only ever argued about mice for my actual work-tasks.
You can never win an argument with mouse elitists
@digital cliff there are so many good sensors nowadays
even a 3310 which is basically ancient by now would be good enough imo
And yeah, I wouldn't want a shit load of mouse macro buttons FOR the reason that I do keyboard shortcuts with one hand
Personally i dont like light mice
which slows down the industry
you don;t have to like light mice
but ~80-90g should be in any design
uhh yea
basically
by now
~100g is basically dead
even the g502 got reduced weight now
the wireless one is like 14g lighter than the hero
I mean, sure the G502 hero I have probably isn't ideal for most gamers. But it's about perfect for my use in CAD and modeling. And the hyperscroll is one of my favorite use cases for all of the shit I do. Even web browsing I just toggle that shit and cruise through a page.
Or when Blender fucks up your view for no reason, you can just hyperscroll out like a madman to see where in the fuck your camera's anchored
kain 100 is 89g and it is a great mouse
back to the topic, mostly in games Hyperscrolling is not that usefull, but if you have to scroll through long text and something like that in work, you don't want to work without it after you had it. I mean Something like pdf files with ~300 pages. In games you can use it for ultrafast clicks (if you rebind the scrolling to the click) and keypresses, which is sometimes very usefull.
weight isn't everything
shape and balance can make up for a lot of extra weight
good clicks, sensor and wheel are a must though imo
Although, I'm not completely against Yamatoklok here. Because I think the G502 Hero would be better without the scrollwheel tilt.
and a decent cable also doesn't help
a mouse is a mouse to me
the tilt on the g502 is pretty bad yeah
g502 needs some small shape fixes
what did i walk into
I've asked tons of people and never met anyone who's used their tilting scroll wheel, and I don't know why it's still a feature.
a different wheel
and I wouldn't complain
the g100s user
btw it is still made for the asian market
it works plus no tilt wheel
Also the third thumb button is in an obnoxious place compared to the G500
I don't complain
like i wont ever get smth far more complex than a g100s
I think I had a G100s on my server for a while? It came with some other shit I didn't pay for it
so the same fucked firmware
yup
poor sensors
they could be so good
although the retail model has a better coating
i mean i got like waay more serious problems atm anyway
Logitech never really had particularly BAD sensors, they just had awful firmware decisions for a few generations
yea
they fucked the sensor
their variation is shit
normally it would only have a few spinout issues by modern standards
my windows for example switches back to the last active window randomly
"You know what's good, interpolation!"
even the "fix" of it in the g402 didn't help
I Like the shape tbh
better than the g502 at least
I don't palm though
I wish razer didn't have the worst feeling switches and rubber sides on the viper
Also Razer's build quality's basically so-bad-it's-good if you're into electronics engineering
razer viper uses lightstrike LK mouse switches
viper is actually pretty good
they basically did a 180 with their most recent products
Huh, that's promising.
Last I looked at one was like 2017 and they glued a bunch of foam on a lot of the internals. I couldn't figure out what purpose that served.
I'm still going to fanboy for my G502, it does everything perfectly.
But then again I have a very thick line between what I love and what I recommend people get.
thicc*
Like the MX Master would probably be really great for me, except they have some really fucking obnoxious design decisions for how much the fucking thing costs
lol yeah
tbh if it wasn't 125hz it would even be fine for gaming
after you removed the weight in it
What got me was the GESTURE BUTTON
Which would obliterate your workflow if you used the thumb rest
Because if you put any pressure on that red square at all it would start minimizing windows and bringing up random shit.
I don't see any reason in thumb rests lol
like, do you just flop your hand on the mouse?
Eh, I use mine slightly. But my hands are both large and fat.
My pinky finger would probably be better off with a rest than the thumb, though, because I use the thumb button enough that my 'posture' keeps my thumb off the mat
with big and thick hands
no thumb or pinkie rest on either of my mice
not even on any of the other ones I own
Really it's just because of how my hands rest, it'd be nice to have some flap there
To push those two back fingers up.
get naga trinity lol
It doesn't have a pinky flap
it has a side that fully supports the right side of your hand
That supports my ring finger, but you underestimate how lazy I am.
And it's not really that big of a gripe, it's just the side of my pinky dragging on the mouse mat a tiny bit
Really if they added a flap it would add way more surface area to the bottom of the mouse and it would handle significantly worse
Which is the main problem with thumb flaps as well
I have the previous version of that logi
There's more stiction though
I love it as my portable mouse
there is no previous version of the g502
it is the g500s
Yeah, the G500 series was the predecessor to the g502
Is that the MX Revolution?
I use a kain 102 prototype at work
oh at work
and at home a transparent kone pure ultra
Ah, I had the MX Revolution and loved it. It's what got me hooked on the hyperscroll even though on the Revolution it was a horrible piece of shit that broke and needed RMA'd constantly
g303 weight is a bit much imo
at work
The MX Air wasn't bad either, but someone stole it
wtf is that
logi g900
I mean the mx air
oh
not even g903
MX Air had a gyroscope so you could use it without having it on a surface
actually it is one of the most comfortable non palm mice I own
I mean most mice cramp up my hand
actually
those cramp up my hands as well
the only mouse I have ever used that does not hurt my hand
I actually really loved my doofy air mouse, it wasn't great for most things but I would get lazy and use it to point around without having my hand near the desk.
g900 just feels like shit at the base of my palm no matter what I do
kone pure ultra is NICE
Also even though the MX Air had a capacitive touch scroll, it still had inertial scrolling that worked about the same as hyperscroll :V
I even own a transparent one
which is like 1/60 or something
I know there are less than 100
although we have nagged roccat employees enough so there weill be some transparent retail model next year apparently
not sure what it is though
they will release a new kone though
NOW I REMEMBER
The MX Revolution's thumb scroll was forward and back which made it awkward to get used to
Also god why
cant handle it apparently
You can type faster on anything if you type faster on them
no for real
you will probably type faster on a chiclet style board
than on something like a wooting or cherry MX board
I've tried, my error rate just jumped from 15 to 40%, and my WPM dived from 110 to 75
And that was comparing chicklets to my conksuck MS Ergonomic 4000
I'm probably less accurate on the wooting ATM, but I don't feel it's slowed me down due to the lack of tactile feedback
I also type like a jackass with 3-fingers on each hand and used the MS Ergo for decades.
Wow wooting staff, how come I don't get a free palm rest?
:V
because you pay for it with a 100$ keyboard and mouse
which should be like 70$ each max
Yeah, that was mostly the joke.
g305 > GPW
I'm not paying 200$ for a mouse and keyboard which should probably add up to 100$
and a third of the price
I paid 160$ for my Wooting Two which is the first mechanical keyboard I've been able to commit to.
I paid 195 Euro for my current board
and that was a steal
considering it is 310 new
I still love in the last livestream I asked "Lekker Ergodox When?" and one of the guys was basically "Well, that's been rolling around in my head and it's distracting."
tbh I would probably buy it
I'd drop 300$ on it at least.
I am basically waiting until we get any lekker which is smaller than a fullsize
Considering that's what EZ-Dox goes for and it doesn't offer anything but assembly versus home-building it
wtf
ergodox is overpriced af anyways
https://github.com/keyhive/build_guides/blob/master/lily58pro.md Extras are up! If this is out of stock, sign up on the form at the bottom of the page. Lily58 Pro is a 58 key split keyboard with OLEDs and supports an LED strip. The plates are made of PCB material. Kits...
much better and cheaper options
although the corne would need some plates etc for a bit extra as well
still pretty cheap
then add something like gateron yellows if you like linears
which are like 0.3$ per switch
Yeah, Ergodox is overpriced as fuck for completed models.
I have like 2/3rds of one in a box somewhere because I started sniping deals on the parts to build one.
And then never finished it.
oof
Yeah, my money's way too fickle to try and do a long-term project like that.
just get all the parts at once
Would have been smart, yeah.
I don't have a consistent income and mindlessly dump everything extra into the principal of my mortgage.
So it was "Crap, lemme remember to finish buying this next month" and then next month I didn't remember
I have roomates and most of an engineering degree, It makes for really lucrative side-jobs doing landscaping/handyman/appliance work.
Solo appliance repair makes up the most of my income.
I don't really have a main job. I'm coasting off of qualifying for disability but still being able to make enough to pay for everything.
Otherwise they'd take my insurance away and I'd need to buckle down and really turn everything around to make up for the free insurance I get from the state.
Basically they give me benefits for being self-sufficient and not pulling money out of the system.
It gives me better healthcare than literally anywhere else in the world, because I'm in an area saturated with medical research and top-end facilities, but the state's paying for a private insurance company to give me limitless free healthcare
That alternative ergodox looks like crap though. Sorry Yam 😄
Ergodox w/ handrest addon masterrace.
wtf
that is an official marketing picture
and he does exactly what the ergodox is designed to prevent
just get an alice instead
d
I mean yea you can, but why get an ergonomic board to kill your wrists even more
That's not the regular ergodox though
Yep. An offshot.
This is the POS I used for decades, and it's at least more sound ergonomically.
That would trigger my OCD so hard
There's my Ergo. Still haven't gotten around to get a proper blank set for it.
With the ergodox you'd want it tented the same way as that Microsoft
It's a cool hacker keyboard. That's as far as I care. Ergonomics is overrated.
I was going to have a wrist rest, but it would be scooped out to let my arms rest at a neutral position
I was going to have mine mounted to my desk and aligned to yoga ball with my elbows on my chair wrest.
did you just say hacker keyboard?
do you just use a bag of rice?
"Perfect hacker keyboard. It contains 24/7 keylogging and keypress profiling"
😄
"Hackers will love you"
it comes with shit like this
I would actually have my ergodox mounted to the arms of my chair.
Get some slip-rings to couple that to my PC.
to force a sitting position?
Nah, so whatever sitting position I was in the keyboard would be in the same position.
The mouse would be the hard part, because where in the fuck do you dump that in the equation?
Ideally your mouse and right hand of your keyboard should be in the same position.
lol
The mouse would fall on the ground when your keyboard was out
please don't
They already said my 60kg neodymium cube would be bad for the lekker switches...
Yeah, it was a joke that I had one as a keyboard stand
It would be moronic to have one because even a 1kg Neodymium magnet of fairly low quality could hold 400kg
So a 60kg one would exert force of like some cubic exponent of that
So in the stream they were talking about magnetic interference to the lekker switches, and they said "Well you'd need an absurdly powerful magnet"
So I said "Well does that mean I'd have to get rid of my 60kg neodymium magnet as my keyboard stand"
The joke being that would obliterate most electronics.
Even on a regular mechanical keyboard it would start pulling screws through the case
Even this is a single kilogram and it will hold over a metric ton of metal
There's a danish youtuber who plays with big magnets on the regular. He speaks english, but with a danglish accent 😄
Just put it on someone's car frame "IT LIVES THERE NOW, THAT IS ITS HOME"
Yep 😄
I just think, maybe the Lekker keyboards should be able to work when those are around :V

huh, unlike the diswasher one, latest LTT video sounds like a good idea, POV pc build probably helps more than generic ones you find
(didnt watch it only saw the title so idk how good it is)

ehhhh
that sounds like opposite of what every dev said so far
what site is that from?
Apparently was leaked in an AMD GitHub
yes but what did you post, that doesnt seem like a post from an amd github
not really following any german tech sites so idk what that is from
damn that made me realize we might hear a ton of tech news at ces this time
intel 10th gen, amd gpu, maybe console, maybe zen3, maybe nvidia gpus
definitely high end threadripper too
