On the new TR CPUs, all chiplets are connected to memory equally. Also, latency improved a lot in this generation. It's only an issue for few, very specific workloads now

Your GPU really shouldn't be able to overheat though.
They will clock down to match their maxtemp once you hit the thermal limit (ish). You'd need a very bad airflow.

Here's what I'd do. Boot up Furmark and run it at 1080P. It should level out the temperature within a few minutes (It shows a graph).
If it stays stable, the game is at fault.

Oh joy. Yeah that's very possible, Callum. Whichever is Disk 0 usually has boot. Which is why I always unplug everything but the one drive I want ๐
Sometimes you can force it by changing from Windows Boot on that disk to just that disk (UEFI) but not always

I'll rephrase then - Most dishwashers I have encountered do NOT offer a "rinse only" option. If you've loaded the salt box with salt, and the detergent box - They're going to be used.
And even with just water, you're still going to wreck the lube.
Just a PCB is a completely different story.
