Yo dawgs, about that corsair 32gb set of ram, the catch is 16-20-20-38 timings (advertised as CAS Latency 16 so that you don't read into the other values) because it's hynix memory not Samsung, you won't be able to push the timings atall and rarely will be able to overclock. All the benchmarks that you'll see online will be using top tier G.Skill (Samsung) RAM
It used to be that AMD CPUs would have to wait extra clock cycles unless they had the best timing memory, the ryzen 3000 series still is still lagging a tad in memory timing and can benefit from using the best G.Skill sets instead. Ryzen 3000 series is finally for AMD seeing performance gains when using over 3000Mhz RAM speeds as long as timing aren't too bad and the last two gen of Intel already were benefiting from the higher speeds, but if the only processing you do it game then don't worry about it. G.Skill with Samsung is finally selling some low latency 3600Mhz RAM for the big bucks and its what the Ryzen 3000 line really shines with.
However / regardless : if you don't have 16gb yet, or you never close your chrome tabs and therefore need 32gb ;P, and you're buying for the last few gens of intel system you should totally go for it while the prices are low - the prices are going back up, they're currently down due to oversupply which is being scaled back so the makers don't miss money. Please don't consider this a false scarcity threat by me, its just what markets do to retain profit margins, you probably don't need more RAM.
tl;dr: cheap 32GB is nice to have, memory is memory and you should only consider the pricier versions of the same size interesting for performance if you actually do RAM heavy compute heavy work.

Due to supply and the competition, Samsung RAM prices have fallen significantly aswell, I picked up 3000Mhz cas14 of 32GB for £165 recently

3600 speed will assume position at the new semi-enthusiast price point

Implications: if you buy non-Samsung RAM to match with other non Samsung RAM you'll most likely have to match the stats of sets before purchase -exactly- or compromise to the worse values of your sets for both in use. You'll always have to match values of sets in use
You should always match dual rank with dual rank ram (this is not the same thing as dual channel)
you don't have to match sizes of your set on the A and B channels of your motherboard (16+32gb is fine)
It's now pretty cheap to run a 48GB/64GB RAM Disk so that ARMA 3 can finally not have load-in-lags
