What happened was the house's safety thingy (idk how it is called in English) went down, the general one along with the one giving power to the plugs the PC was connected to. I had my pc and monitor connected to a "safety" multiplug, disconnecting the multiplug from power would allow me to raise back all the safety switches. I am going to check that it was 100% on the PC side soon(by checking if the monitor causes the problem). (After I have breakfast or sth)

I think everything is clientsided, then the netcode just compares pings and deducts that from the arrival of packets.. So the lower pinger won't always win

otherwise people could just use a lagswitch to dump all bullets in an enemy
the server just get's were somebody shot and in what direction he was aiming + all information for rolling spread etc

if you're playing at 60fps, and the server tick is 60hz.. If you fire during the 16ms window of fps, and the server tick is not aligned - you're magnifying the delay. Thats why I said you're capped by fps/polling rate aswell
