well considering intel was about 10% faster than 2700x, in context switching between multiple cores before any vulnerabilities found (spectre, meltdown etc). Spectre and others took intel to 2x worse than ryzen 2700x, and now this Zombieload vuln took intel to 4x worse

you lose performance for every mitigation they apply, in this case 3-9% + hyperthreading so your i7 become i5, basically, because you'll end up turning HT off

You shouldn't worry, just update your windows etc
