fan speed goes to 850 RPMs because the temperature goes to 45°C
this drops the temperature to 38°C, which turns the fan speeddown to 730RPM

amazon replaced it with no issue, didn't even have to send them the email
for the first year of the warranty it's done by the store, but most manufacturers will still do it direct and some even tell you just to go to them, I guess logitech don't bother
