Good gaming hardware has come a long way in the last few years
It's possible, with the right hardware and settings, to get a sub-20ms button to photon delay nowadays
Then again, just one or two wrong settings can make that same system shoot up to over 50ms

In my experience 4G can be faster yes but the speed is wildly inconsistent, e.g. I only really get the advertised speed late at night
