If there's some phone manufacturer out there crazy enough to ditch the front camera all together I'll be happy. As close to 100% screen to body ratio is perfect and these notches/dots seem silly to me
I actually dislike the holes punched in the screen more than I do notches, because at least they're kinda out of the way and not just sitting there in the screen
That Chinese phone with the screen on the rear seems fantastic. Just stick one or two good cameras on the back, so you can have good selfies and normal pictures

I only had my S3 for about a year
I got it for free
And even after 6 months it began slowing down so much
It was unbearable
Then I got an iPhone 6
Worked great for about 8 months then I noticed the chassis was slightly warped
Turned out the battery pack had expanded and they gave me a new one
Then I used that for another 2 years until it fell 2 feet off the side of my couch and shattered to kingdom come
I replaced the screen and home button pretty easily and used it for a few more months until the X came out

yeah my s5 active got insanely slow and the battery turned to complete crap. Took forever to charge and would die within a couple hours of use at like "30-40%" battery. It was pretty awful.

That's crazy it broke that easy. My s5 active was tough as fuck. The screen only every broke after I got pissed at something and slammed it on the ground face first. It survived so many falls before that. That was an instant $150 regret

There was a 90 degree turn on the stairs and as I was running up the stairs
The phone flew out of my pocket as I turned
Slammed right into the metal scaffolding and dropped about 5 meters into a very deep puddle of water
I was running late so I just left it there
For about 1 hour 40 minutes
Came back out, recovered it, left it to dry on some paper towel (not even rice) and worked fine the next day

dropped my iphone 4 in a toilet and it never even shut off and kept working. I tried to shut it off and it refused and turned itself back on. It was so weird.

I already have a Logitech keyboard, non mechanical, 104 key, that is wireless and has LED (non RGB) lighting... senses my hands over the keyboard and lights only then (fully). I charge it, maybe once a month (and still use it, as it just needs a microUSB cable).

There are other LED wireless keyboards too. Just most of them are not 104 key.

RGB vs single color LED has tiny different power needs. Scenarios like "only light area close to the keys pressed" eats up even less.

Keyboards are rather large devices and can have big batteries if needed.

I don't think mechanical vs membrane has different power needs.
- I can find wireless + mechanical + RGB, but no 104.
- I can find wireless + mechanical + 104, but no light.
- I can find wireless + LED + 104, but not mechanical.
- I can find mechanical + RGB + 103, but not wireless.
...actually I think I can find JUST ONE Chinese keyboard that has it all, but it uses preset RGB patterns (and have to say Chinese are not the most tasteful in the use of LED technology)...
and of course not analog...

The big use case in my mind is ditching the front cam. You don't need a front cam if you can use the rear screen+camera(s) for all your selfie needs
This opens up the front screen to have 100% coverage rather than a notch or a hole punched out
