If you also want to game on the Windows part, I would get more than 8GB for it. I think 16GB is baseline for a gaming Windows where you can keep your apps open when playing. And also try to get as fast memory as you can. Mine runs on 3200MHz with XMP profile and 2400MHz in "compatibility mode" and I got much less fps drops and just generally more FPS with the faster speed.
