Mostly, because while they look great, gameplay tends to lack depth and challenge
Witcher 3 on Death March was one of the exceptions, but I still believe it could have used another difficulty level up
I only remember 2 points in the game that were truly challenging
The first Ghouls you encounter at the beginning, needed a few tries to figure out the controls, and the boss fight in the painting, because it required fast and perfect reactions, unlike any other fight in the game. It probably had broken difficulty scaling, at least the Internet seemed to suggest that.

More of a interpreter that converts directx, windows OS, etc into vulcan, opengl, posix calls. Which linux supports and understands. But noone has access nor legally allowed to access and use the source code herein and use it and thus compatability can be mixed as it doesnot translate those calls correctly. not perse.. i think.. it only allows to not write frames when display is printing a frame (which leads to less screen tearing). The new frame is written only when the current frame has been processed completely and is in the vsync blanking space (from the old VGA days with CRT displays). However this doesnot have to happen every frame as display will use the old frame if no new frames have been written. Also the graphics adapter needs to be fast enough to process and write to the pixelbuffer.

dll injections are a button press away. Even my scriptkiddy days in ace of spaces relied on a dll injector to work. If i remember the hack I used in gta5 was also a dll injection to avoid the only dll scan that gta5 will do is on start-up. The fact I was able to use that hack for so long is unbelievable really. It made the game a lot more bearable tho. Especially godmode when someother decides to target you with their godmode on. Then talk shit as they ussualy have a fragile ego and cant handle that. Usually going to rant in the chat and admitting to using hacks, which is great for the vote kick 🙂

I had to change the field of view of games in config files beyond the ingame options cause otherwise it looks too stretched
The problem with ultrawide is that its very much possible. But most games stretch the vertical part as well horizontally, while only horizontally the screen is wider

Manual OC could end up in better results than leaving everything on auto. On auto the cpu uses 1.35v at 3.6ghz with the boost to 4.2. while now i got 4.2 all the time at 1.3v, which runs just as powerful but almost 10 degrees celcius cooler.
