Right, BattlEye is doing something funky. I have reason to suspect that it is purposely blocking me. I re-installed Windows just today and was able to play two matches just fine. After that, I am getting the same error as before. What the fuck.

You get a console from your parents cause it's cheaper and simpler than a PC. Fortnite whatever. Then comes your confirmation and more money than sense being thrown your way. Gaming PC and a scooter.

The basics.
To get better you need to fight and lose - A LOT. And you need to do it in relative safety to make sure you can get back up and get patched up. If you go solo, it's super easy to go into a death coma.
Unless you're a Skeleton, you're going to need food and band aids - Which means you need money. Most cities have copper and iron deposits right outside or nearby. It's dirty but honest work - You can definitely earn a basic living by simply mining Copper and selling it to the local bartender or whoever.
Everything past that is all about discovery and such - The lore, the factions and who loves and hates each other.

last cod i played extensively was black ops 2. shotguns back then were moddable to work at range. there was the pump action that could 1 shot from close range, and then there was the 12k that had moderate damage but a long range and semi auto, so with 2 shots you mostly killed everyone easy enough.
not sure how cod shotguns evolved beyond that, tho. after i smashed my fifth keyboard or so, i stopped playing cod. found more peace in battlefield.

Shotguns in every game I have ever played are over powered hugely, with single shot kill range way too high when compared to every other gun. Also LMG guns are way too accurate for a gun designed to spray big bullets in a general direction..
