torgue stickys did way too much damage, after the nerf they are still good so that's fine, loot was indeed a bit much, even after the decrease it's miles better than bl2
and there are limits to that they can do it a hotfix but gl explaining that to any redditor
they literally can't increase backpack/bank slots in a hotfix

I mean unless its something like a crash on every intel cpu for example, there are so many cases that could cause issues that you can't really test because it's such a big ammount of possible system combinations
it's not, but the most you could ask for is for devs to list what specs they tested it on and add a disclaimer "performance may vary or show issues on other components" which would look pretty silly, when its usually just a certain mix that brings issues at launch
you also need to keep in mind that a huge part of "games getting worse launches" is that more people now like to be vocal a lot more even if it's not many
so you hear more about issues that affect barely anyone
like the 2mb/s thing that got parroted after a streamer said it, while trying to troubleshoot why it wouldnt work with obs, when nobody else saw it

The only point I will cede is Steam's super useful versioning system, which ALL other platforms honestly need to adapt.
It's super useful for games with mods. Like Paradox games, or Bethesda style ones.
You can lock your game at a specific version, or downgrade a bit to keep playing an ongoing campaign.
Not perfect though - workshop will still try to update mods eventually though.

@keen urchin It's not entirely lost for satisfactory, but it will be severely delayed if it comes. They have a 1 year contract with EGS, so after that they could potentially sell it on steam

Some of the guys behind the game seem to have founded a studio called City State Entertainment, and work on Camelot Unchained
Which is supposed to be an MMO based on the RvR part of DAoC
They don't seem to have plans to include PvE content as it stands
Other than as a flavour to RvR, e.g. keep guards

Because it's easy to get caught up in the moment and be firing when your shots aren't landing and to continue firing even though you're not hitting
and a lot of it is building muscle memory for a lot of people which is pretty hard if you want to get really good
and aiming isn't even the only issue there's so much to cover when it comes to overall improvement. Anticipating the enemies strategy or their movement when you're planning on shooting them. It's pretty much why I stopped playing competitive anything. I'm lazy.

lutris makes it work on linux, and they said for now they are focused on pc and mac but aren't against making it work under linux eventually
