@dense pond Well that's what, a 6 or 7 year old processor? And unfortunately the 1050 ti isn't great. Kinda different to a 9700 k and 2080 ti.
But it's an old game so should run decently still. Something to do with your build could be bottlenecking it.
You might want to check the temperatures aren't spiking. If it is then and the CPU has been in there 7 years, taking off the cooler and applying some new thermal paste could help.
If you were getting 20-30 FPS I'd say it could be something else... As you're getting 1 FPS then that would hint to me some serious hardware temperature throttling.

Check out some guides and videos online, at least then you can build up some knowledge about it. Should help you understand why it's not a risk.
And you can also look up your specific processor and what to do with it.

Do double check the temps if you haven't recently as they can change over long times.
