that's why senior code developers and project managers are so highly sought after
getting someone who knows the easiest ways to do the best job, or people who can actively monitor and manage the way things are programmed is key in making stuff like this NOT happen
if you look at overwatch, for example, lots of the people who work on it were from other games before. The game itself was originally the lovechild of several employees. They then threw Jeff Kaplan onboard as the manager, someone who was already involved in other projects, and everything worked out great
They were also efficient in the sense that they reused good code, for stuff like their prop physics engine, which is something that is indifferent to gameplay, but can make or break a games performance
my guess is that Bethesda threw together a bunch of newer employees for 76, so that other employees could be happy working on what they always do

they pulled a division-dark-zone where pve and pvp players have to share a space
which is bad because pvp players don't get to do actual pvp and pve players keep getting bothered by pyp players

I must be lucky because I've played in every beta and never encountered any players trying to force pvp on me
Their current game settings blow though. That blur is awful if it gets screwed up (had to have an entirely new ini created to fix it) and of course their optimization is crap as usual

I don't really like most mechanics of Fallout games, although I have to say, I like Fallout 4 VR, some of the stuff is actually kind of nice.
I do however greatly enjoy character interaction and dialogue, especially in FO3 and FO:NV

I mean I love modding, I literally use 1000 Xcom 2 mods, totalling around 60 gb.
breaking a game by adding mods and fixing it afterwards somehow is often more entertaining than the game itself.

I haven't played Rust but I don't think they're too similar. It does have survival elements like needing food and drink but it's more like a Fallout world (with no npcs besides the robots) with friends and a few randos

You just run around and kill shit with friends, randos, or by yourself. Level up, craft gear/weapons, build small bases or claim a workshop at a Point of Interest to collect materials or do wave defense at that workshop.
Supposedly you can collect nuke codes to launch a nuke somewhere on the map and then that area supposedly becomes a high level area with rarer stuff and mats

I think so, there will be one race (Dark Myr) https://pantheonmmo.com/races/dark_myr/, if you mouseover on them you see they have mermaid-y tais in the water. Their Racial City (Syronai's Rest) I believe is underwater city and they are better swimmers etc. They've talked about underwater combat and dungeons aswell, in which this race would be at home

Some apps did that too, like Snapchat, but with snapchat some mods to allow videos longer than 10 seconds or things that automatically save the stories of others etc existed
but on Ingress you don't even need root to cheat
and i don't know what kind of cheat would need root on Ingress
On the other hand, root is becoming less and less necesarry at every new android version, because Google added more and more features to allow apps do things that needed root before (except with Android 9 where you need root to fully integrate the new recent apps menu to your launcher)
