Depending on your humor and number of beers beforehand, Viscera Cleanup Detail might also be a fun game. You're basically part of the cleanup crew after every sci-fi movie scene where body parts and gore fly around.

Ambush the alien. Never run blind around corners. The aliens get a free turn of movement when spotted. Better let them spot you during their turn to give you a chance to use any saved up reaction shots.

Definitely hot on the idea that it should be roughly twice as powerful as the largest Pi, which means PS1 and N64 emulation is a breeze, not a hit and miss thing.

Game makes you sit through a three minute tutorial on sniping, then doesn't bother to mention the keybinds on the HUD you need to know once ingame...and the keybinds don't seem to work as intended either. Drone's fun...but enemies spot it from a mile away it seems. Kind of defeats its purpose.

So update on my first proper Civ game. My only good thing going for me is that I have a large army and I knocked the Spanish into a state of disrepair. My economy is propped up by trade routes to Spain which means I have to hold our peace treaty and not attack like I want to. Also if I did I would annoy the Russians. My buddy is waaaay ahead of all of us and is fighting a big war, my other buddy is surrounded by the first; and the third is just floundering around. All in all a fun time.

You can get very far with very few effects. Really don't have to invest in a new case and custom watercooling. Know someone who sprays cars? Buy a cheap case or gut your own and have them give it a sprayover with some overcoat. Buy a couple of fans with colour. Voila!

You still need a high end i5/i7 to get good single core power - Most high end intel CPUs aren't even getting 30FPS on overworld from what I hear.
Especially since you can overclock the high end ones even further.

Stable 30 in the laggiest place in the game, the Korok forest.
There's still some graphical glitches and stutters, but that's an issue with the emulation itself not insufficient hardware.
The guy is running a few tweaks though to get it to run a lot better than stock. I believe he has a special hook running for the game, as well as turbo mode flipped on in cheat engine, and some other stuff you can find on the CEMU subreddit.
I don't even get stable 30 on original hardware. Minus the emulation glitches (graphics and stutters), this is running BETTER than it does on the Switch version.

Only one of our friends is so stupid that we were more frustrated than anything. He kept rebinding his keys between deaths so he was just standing in spawn a lot of the time, making him be removed for AFK. That or he'd rebind emotes to his movement keys.

Patents, hardware based ones. They had no issues keeping a monopoly. But it hurt game sales that used it too heavily.
The first Mirror's Edge used PhysX. Every time a window would break, AMD cards would slow to like < 1FPS forever.

@bleak pike the point is yes you can do it, but others don't have to do it. So every enemy can Mario cloud to peak around corners without putting themselves at risk while you in first person do.
So you end up pretty much being forced to use third person just to have a level playing field
That's why we want first person only servers as an option for people who don't want third person

TLDR on Doomfist gameplay: His primary attack is a shotgun-like attack, shooting pellets out of his left hand.
His secondary attack is a chargeable genji-like dash, dealing damage to anyone he hits.
His 1st ability is an uppercut, which send anyone he hits flying into the air.
His 2nd ability is a sort of lunge, afterwards he hits the ground infront of him. This damages anyone who is about 1 meter in front of him
His ultimate ability is a "meteor strike". Doomfist jumps into the air, leaving a blue circle to act as a crosshair.
Once you click while in "crosshair mode", Doomfist will come crashing down to earth, injuring anyone in a certain radius.
