I like the idea of the No Ghost method, waiting to take him down below 400 health after so long. Is that what most irons do or just suck it up and use the prayer pots?

No. Wastes too much time. You do a 2:1 method can add in offering tech to help save on prayer too

Not really much to explain.
Cerbs specials are based on fixed amount of attacks. By trading 2:1 hits with cerb you delay ghosts more.

Yeah, I recently did 2 full tasks of cerb, ~300-350kc. Did 2:1 method (attack twice, step under) as well as Ward of Arceeus. Consistently got 9kc per 5.5 prayer potions used, could get super long trips with super restore drops.
Thats with arclight too, could probably do even better with emberlight maybe?
