hey! this is my first iron and i'm in the early game. i've been using the Oziris guide (which i understand is also outdated now lol) as a reference or a rough path and i'm at the part where i have to invest 750k (and an additional 525k) on my kingdom
i've got the gold through black jacking but i've been reading up on it and i've heard it may be a noob trap? is it still worth it for getting resources?

No, not at all
When your moneymakers are slow its actually slower to make money, put it in misc, and get resources out than it is to just cut out the middlemen and collect the resources yourself in the first place
also as a word of caution, oziris put a lot of misc workers on herb, which isnt that great. Misc is primarily for hardwood

oziris also has a lot more blackjacking in the future, I would avoid that
and id also dodge the superheating
and id focus on farming asap

in all seriousness parasailer and I wrote a whole guide, you can check that for milestones by going through the section and chapter titles
personally I'd say by the time you get to cg you're pretty much done with the early game
and then you can get a bowfa and start on the midgame
