what is the best way to get some crystal shards early on for divine pots?

thieving is best on average. For just a few any method is fine, including teaks, rooftop or zalcano (for CAs, perhaps?)

I noticed they're included in the setup for 70 def / pray / piety, should we have them by this stage of the game?

yeah, you'll have to go with non-divine super strengths following BRUHsailer

also, have tried chaos altar in wildy but I hate being pked. Tempted to use the hides to level con for gilded altar in personal POH, what do you think?

Even if you die for like half your bones its still good

Using gravestone method for holding tanking supplies makes living quite easy, or just even doing 1 inv of bones at a time is better than poh

The only place wildy is 100% a hard requirement for ironman is wildy altar

Personally I afked it on off hours 1 inventory then suicided for confidence. If your gonna buy a respawn edge > ferox FYI
