Only thing I modified is I moved his Jelly tile 1 east to use the improved "3" tile from regular donofly. I think this is very comfy way to solo yama.

"4.2" is used for duos

if you get unlucky on DPS, use "4.2" if you are the non-instance owner to dodge the hourglass on the jelly cycle (this happens like 3rd or 4th lap cant remember which)
(by use 4.2, go to 4.1 then 4.2 right away and attack, instead of going to 4.1 and waiting 1 tick like normal donofly)

and I got dragged once from hitting a far void orb, but I think there should always be a situation where u can hit one without being dragged

i figured it out
at 1:20 (this is right after you finish the double wave skip tech and get back into normal cycle), when u go to tile 1
u have to delay right there instead of clicking
i normally just click yama to attack and it drags me in then the delay happens anyway because my attack isnt ready yet
but if u wait there the 1t like you do with 4.1, you can avoid the damage from the skulls
u need to delay a tick
im working on trying to beef up the cycle to account for some of the bad cases
at the start, do you always have to delay 1t? I get slapped every time I try to start it
if you're the first person to load in and also spawn close enough that you reach the tile in 1 tick then wait on it

I think there is a line between 'don't add any updates' and 'don't add an entry fee hard mode where you get 1-2 attempts per account and success saves you 20ish hours'
at least the radiant oathplate ones you just farm demons outside

Contracts are tradeable agreements that you can bring to Yama, sign on the dotted line and he'll show you a little more of his power in a more challenging fight,
Yama will show off more of his power regardless of what Contract you've signed, but each bespoke Contract should change the way that you approach the fight fundamentally,
but it could just be that it makes you solo instead of duo

I've been trying to see how deep I can get into the Donofly method while staying in cycle, but I wanted to do it in a way that is viable for teams as well, by staying in the donofly rotation. The Saeldor is to lower my dps for deeper runs.

here's what i've been doing in duos -- it's basically the "modified donofly" where you don't have to wait on tiles but it incorporates the dodge greg posted for non-hosts when the fireballs start to hit you on rotation 3 (better example that shows the dodge: https://streamable.com/mx3nec)

So it just puts the 4 and 1 further away so you just don't idle?

Oh and another thing about the 1 tile
You can start there and wait to click til you see his attack animation
You lose a hit but it's a lot easier to get into cycle
does it make a difference if your teammate does slightly different tiles?

I always host and nobody seems to mind, everybody I have duoed with uses the conventional donofly
after tanking it b2b i coudnt bother anymore
cause it ended the trip early for us lol

ok first attempt was fine until orbs showed up then i gave up and maged 
yea i haven't really learned how to deal with bombs in a clean way for solos, am gonna have to eventually for contracts but w/e i don't even have a purging yet
if you're always hosting then perhaps they are getting hit because they are not using gregs dodge tile
i don't think normal donofly uses the rotation 3 dodge
is it only happening on rotation 3+

they just don't deal with bombs because kills are almost always too fast for those

it's quite comfy doing monofly with pickups because they always use donofly and don't mind me hosting

I think the problem with donofly in general is it assumes you're the host/soloing
with a 9 day gap between boss release and contracts going live they have to be premade
it's not like in tob you have to step on a different tick if you aren't the party leader
u just click one different tile on the 4th cycles of whatever if ur not host
head movement isn't offset in cm3s if the head runner isn't the leader

if you're too late even if you skip the delay tile, you can just not run all the way to tile 2 (the one that would give you a 5t gap between hits)

There are four scenarios:
You spawn on time 4 tiles south of the throne and must delay 1t
You spawn on time 2-3 tiles south and must click the boss immediately
You spawn late 4 tiles south and must click the boss immediately
You spawn late 2-3 tiles south and must miss first hit.
If both people spawn at the same time (identical animations) then you both need to attack on the tick that you would attack if you spawned by the throne. If you spawn closer to the boss, that is when you delay.
If the other guy spawns 1t ahead of you (animations will be offset) then you spawned late. If you are closer to the boss, you can still make the first hit, but if you spawned by the throne you have to skip the first hit entirely and just get into cycle on hit 2
This is both people doing option 4 intentionally, generally missing ticks
But it is the most consistent as it's the same timing every time
so if we both spawn at the same time, how do i tell if its on time or late
once you understand it imo it's pretty intuitive

conversely you only need to delay first hit if both spawn on time and don't spawn far from the boss

wouldnt it just be the one row closest to the boss thats delayed
you start to get a feel for the timing, like "if i can make it to the delay tile in one tick then i delay, otherwise i don't"
or if you spawn late, then the one closer to the boss you don't delay, and the two furthest from the boss you skip first hit

This cycle causes the Void Flares to spawn at the same point in the cycle consistently, and same multi wave dodges. This removes a lot of complex patterns others have been showing as solves to multi waves.

here's the solve i cooked up
those tiles completely solve all orb spawns & all multi waves, and it doesn't shift, it's the same every time
you need to know how to use them, but it's super simple

and solves everything - consistent every time, very few tiles

there's another point in the cycle where you'll take a hit two, after you finish killing the jellies
but again this is mainly for solo
the only way this issue could be relevant, since Contracts are solo-only, is if there is a duo CA where both players have to kick the boss to death

you can use these tiles in a duo, it might confuse your duo partner, but people can do whatever method they want simultaneously

I watched this guy's video, and it inspired me to make a cycle thats 10x better & simpler ^^ (message link above)
it fixes the problems with void flares spawning at different times, which is what ultimately ruins Attaway's method
mine also saves 1 tick over his method, and has like half the amount of tile markers

if u go to 4.2 early u get smoked by the wave so ye dont do it until the 3rd

If you are not the party leader of a duo you get opposite direction diagonal fire balls that on the right side after tile 5 you get hit by using the regular tiles. This 4 tile skips waves and the fireballs for duos where you aren't party leader.

It’s boosted +50% but it consumes the glyph so you have to be careful with timing
Bc it basically means you have to wait til later to hit red

anybody got a quick fix to get back into cycle if you mess up the starting hit by either not delaying or delaying when you shouldnt? really sucks to do the other methods because you messed up the first hit lol
for other methods id just mark a tile to get a tick ahead
to deal w the orb u could kill it on 3 or just tank it, this is kinda more duo optimized
if u get insta hit like this vid ur a tick behind, if u get hit when u go in from 2 u are a tick ahead and need to stall an additional tick at 4 but I dont have a video of that

just to be clear though, if you don't make a mistake, you're never going to get a delay
if you get a delayed spawn, it was your own fault, and you should anticipate getting a delayed spawn if you made a mistake
if you are a giga gamer, and you see that your partner isn't on the same tick as you killing Judge (seeing when hitsplats appear), you can intentionally lose a tick, to help prevent your partner from being delayed
also make sure neither person is going to south edge of island at end of judge kill - that causes a delay
if my partner loses a tick he deserves to be delayed and shamed
speaking of that, will bringing a sang cause your partner to be delayed
since you can save 1-2t depending on fireballs with it

if your duo partner is losing a tick and making himself delayed, and then doesn't realize it and baits a melee at start, I think you need to pause after the kill and have a conversation with your duo partner and review some clips
ive heard 50% damage reduction after it meets the threshold to phase but before it does
