Been using broad bolts for tasks for quite a while now and noticed this weapon attacks way quicker.

Generally broad bolts are considered trash, you should never use them.
Sunlight bolts are not worth farming for, but are better than broad bolts.
If you can get a magic shortbow, thats a more reliable option than either. However, bowfa is the real option if you want to range.

Yeah im like in an inbetween of bowfa atm, I did SOTE recently, however don't feel comfortable learning CG atm since im only 84range/82mage/80def, no titans prayers yet. However I cant use an MSB on these basi knight tasks sadly and using rcb feels like it takes forever while safespotting

your range is low but mage and def are a bit high for CG
the titans prayers are best obtained after CG, not before. But if you enjoy it go for it whenever
personally I would chin to 92 ranged and then go do CG
also its better to melee basilisk knights. Using bolts there is a bad idea

fwiw I was thinking of using fang, or hasta as a downgrade
normally basilisk knights are not a good task until you have some post-bowfa gear

what should i downgrade the bandos to with that zaxe setup? also dont have torture/rune boots sadly

basilisks do a decent amount of damage so it might suck more but the next downgrades are like torso/dragon legs/mixed hide boots. probably bring fury over strength amulet also

you'd probably be best off locking the task for now and only enabling it with better gear
