Can you comfortable do Bandos without blood barrage?

Have bofa, 94 range, 88 mage, and B2Ps, but is blood burst enough or should i wait for the magic level via slayer?

your worry there is gonna be killing minions before next bandos spawn

good news is you can just go level magic while doing sep or another mulitskill activity

im not sure why i wouldnt? i have elite lummy done for blocks, about 1.5k combined prays/super rests, and most tasks you piety flick or if you wana rly afk pros+pray melee. Rest you can burst or range like lizardmen

i can only think of TDs/gorillas etc but theyve felt perfectly doable without bandos

bofa also took 1k kc so not short of runes or cash and yeah there's also the fun aspect so ima slayer anyway but i still dont think its that unoptimal surely

bursting is never rly worth it

You get enough ppots that bandos + camping piety is the default for all melee tasks

But that does include you doing stuff like sep etc for agility

Yeah I did 100 or so KC at bandos without blood barrage level. It was terrible.

So many drops wasted/kills rushed because I couldn't kill minions in time.

I ended up doing some with divine magic pots just to have barrage, but that got annoying, so I just went back to slayer and returned to bandos at 92 magic.

I did a lot of my bandos KC on the arc spellbook with thralls. I’m not convinced it added much kph but once you get comfortable with the method, its not too bad

I guess blood burst is a little better now that you can do a private instance and not worry about juggling.

My main beef with it was I didn't have time to alch/pick up drops and juggle.

i did some bandos kills with mage pots and preserve at 91, wouldn't recommend it. I was just impatient, way more chill with 92 magic

with 91 and preserve i didnt wanna bother with divines, didn't need to either. At 88 if u want to pot divines is probably the play yeah

the difference is very noticeable, trips usually depend on range pots for me. Bringing in 1 or 2 more range pots and 1 more restore/p pot extends trips by a lot

barrage is like 40% more magic dmg then burst or something crazy like that

u prob dont need it but imo rushing bandos also isint really needed (to warrant doing it without barrage)

is that so? I read on a calc that 98 at sep gets u roughly 120 ppots? Surely upkeeping hard contracts would be enough to cover ppots for melee tasks these days, no?

it was enough for me i personally stopped agility pretty early like 87 agility

can definitely get by with contracts if u do some skilling grinds to stack up seeds

its way more u get 400 ranarr seeds as well roughly from the grind

prob only really need like half of that for slayer
