If I don't have a lightbearer should I still use scorching bow but do door altar or use full crystal/bowfa?

Scorching bow with door altar and use spec as a lazy way to kill the boss if you get out of cycle and can't be bothered fixing it. Lightbearer very much not needed

Another approach is to stand on this exact tile
Then all the minions will be auto-offticked on spawn
You can spec Zammy and flick minions
Because you will take zero damage, you don't need ancients
Then you can bring death charge instead and that will act as your lightbearer, as you will get 2x DC per kill (once on boss and once on some minion)

But if you don't want to do that then this method by Phil is definitely better. Honestly there's no real downside to doing this either, it's just that it's more clicks but it's the same DPS anyway
