#To start Tds or wait.

demonbane is pretty expensive, probably wait for bowfa
i honestly don't see the harm of doing TDs earlier than bowfa if they're at all manageable for your gear - a +77.5% combat/slayer xp bonus is kind of insane. test what options you have available to make sure you can do a trip but if you can i think you should personally
demonbane spells COULD be too expensive (cheaper than barrages but less experience per cast) - some ranged option might be better + give you ranged xp to truncate chin grind a little. run a few calcs - random throwing stuff you have banked could potentially be useful in the defenceless phase. but if you can afford it demonbane will be highest dps, yeah
less experience per cast than barrages
this is the understatement of the century
if you're not flush with cash already i don't think TDs is the place to burn it
I started doing TDs at around 65 slayer just because I think they're fun (slayer has always been one of my least favorite skills). The problem I've been having is sustaining charges for arclight. Their drops are just about enough to not absolutely break the bank on soul runes but you won't be making money here. I got spooned a synapse at around 40kc and am currently grinding out catacombs tasks for arclight charges
You can always send like 30 TDs on a greater task before going back to regular greaters
Good to know. I'm not exactly stacked on arclight charges anyway, so I'll probably hold off til more slayer and cg are done.
I started them kinda early because I didn't want to waste the chance at xp and drops and it was a nice change. I used atlatl + arc light so only weapon switches. Got spooned claws and a synapse super early but can't fletch the bow yet unless I get the longbow drop. Atlatl and arc light are plenty good for it though and I was getting pretty decent trips. I only do some when I feel like it otherwise I finish the task elsewhere
