The guide starts getting into supercomposts and volcanic ash. Unfortunately I don’t have any harralander herbs left, any alternatives or will not having composts hurt me? On chapter 1 section 2 of farming section.

Why can't you just make supercompost in the bin with pineapples( charter) or watermelons you harvest

Pineapples are fine, compost pot is a tiny amount better but don't worry about it

i bought like 3-400 pineapples from charters until i had enough watermelon seeds to plant

Just to state the pineapple method, you can buy from the brimhaven charter ship and note pineapples at the leprechaun just south, thats probably the fastest way to accumulate a good chunk. You should also be able to minigame tp to fishing trawler and grab a set of 15 from that charter ship + bank with how spaced out the compost runs are at your stage of the guide
