So ive got an synapse, now i realised i have 2 shards and barely any charges in the arclight. So im assuming i would be best off barraging some monsters in the catacombs, now im just not sure which ones would be best, or if im right at all?
Also am i just better off blocking greater demons now? I have 1 spear and hilt as well

I'm already 99 slayer so cant just continu slayer i guess, do still need an imbued heart so maybe ill just do nechs abbys dustdevils for heart chance + shards ? Or what npc's are best to kill for shards

It's terrible, but since you asked which npcs can just be killed for shards... moss giants/hill giants are cannonable in catacombs and can fill up an arclight relatively quickly if you're overflowing with resources and just want to finish emberlight without any concern for efficiency or materials.

you can't place a cannon at kourend catacombs but can at giants den. it's single combat so you'd have to stay out of combat yourself to keep the cannon firing at everything. I don't know if this is good on any metrics though
