I'm 3/4 zenytes and recently got all the components for a light ballista. Since ballistas have some utility at araxxor and tormented demons should I just make it? How much worse is it than a heavy ballista

It wont one shot the minion spider for arraxor (at that point use a crossbow). and it will be missing between 3 and 5 (15 rng str) max hits on TD's (depending on levels and gear).

I'm not losing sleep over a few max hits at TDs but I do like the idea of being able to oneshot spiders

Its probably possible to max hit minion with enough swaps you need to calc with year stats/gear and see if you can hit a 60

The monkey tail is much rarer than any other component of the light ballista and since jagex seems invested in carving out interesting pvm niches for the ballistas I would wait and see if you get either the heavy frame or another tail

Ballista definitely makes it comfier, ppl have also been doing hunter crossbow

Karil's crossbow also works and is way faster to maintain than moonlight
Been using that myself, had to bring it out of the junk tab for this lol
