#Blood Moon gear setup

Changing to a granite torso wouldn't help you as it has less defensive slash bonus over a fighter torso. Your only real alternative is barrows equipment if you have any otherwise just use a fighter torso and rune/dragon platelegs.
Regarding a crystal shield you could just use a dragon square shield if you have it as it only has a difference of 2 slash defence or alternatively a rune kiteshield at 6 less slash defence.
I am assuming you are already doing so, but be sure to use the potion within the dungeon as well as pray piety
yup ok ty
Are you also doing the jaguar stepback correctly
definitely bring a shield, with that kind of gear you can't afford to not have that defence
I did about 50 Lunar chests with similar gear and stats. The fact is that you have very little room for error, so your jaguar stepbacks need to beb perfect. You shouldn't be struggling to get max healing per phase assuming you are good technically.
What are you using for a spec weapon? Your best value may be 75 atk/85 str/75 def for 100 cb, then finish 75 theiving to complete the Western Hard Diary and pick up a Chally
Late to response, but crystall halberd makes a MASSIVE difference at moons of peril. However, to leverage it you use it as your last attack every blood moon phase. Its pretty easy to time because each boss only attacks 2 times per circle. In addition to helping at blood moon, its is godly on eclipse and is decent on blue moon.
Also, dragon scimitar is better on jaguar phase because you can get two attacks in every other cycle. So consider bringing that as a switch if you can manage it. I had lower stats when I started farming moons, but I had veriks skirt. If I were you I would grab one piece of tank armor from barrows before doing the grind as it makes things smoother.
