not sure what you mean that it might take too long? todt is a good place to start for sure
and not too long of a grind
i dont want to hold off leveling everything. last time i did it. it took me personally like 2 weeks to go all the way to 99
early todt doesnt mean you have to go to 99
oh when you think is a good time to stop?
kind of whenever you want, 80-90 is good
will still start you off with some basic resources
could go to 85 for a quarter of the time it would take to hit 99
Fwiw, starting todt could also prime your friends to think every skill is as fast to level to 80+ as firemaking
Not saying that todt is a bad start, since I think it's pretty good, but just something to keep in mind if they aren't familiar with osrs
What you could do if you were so inclined is split out responsibilities amongst each of your gim mates. Early todt is good and my whole group sent some for some starter cash, but only I actually stayed to 99 to help out with some more funds for a bit. If they're newer it may be fun for them to try to explore the game a bit and find goals of their own. We don't need to necessarily send them all to todt, imo at least.
I mostly stayed to provide some of the more annoying resources for everyone. Rune axes, magic logs, early gp, etc.
fwiw I think that GIM, especially if you have different levels of experience with the game, will quite heavily come down to you collecting supplies and feeding the rest so they get to skip stuff
and I think you'd do well to give them runes and gp in particular
so if you are intending to help the group it might be good for you to look into getting good moneymakers soon
what does fwiw mean?
