When is it worth it to bring a mage switch for zulrah instead of just doing bowfa only? Having bowfa constantly noodle on magma phase isn't great, but I'm missing some important mage upgrades like occult, so I'm not sure bringing a mage switch is worth it.

the big advantage of bowfa only is that you get to carry both thralls and veng, the inv space is an issue if you're also taking an 8-10 way mage swap

I think as your mage gear improves beyond just occult torm swamp trident, the gap will widen
For example anc pieces, imbued heart, sang, ward(f), and finally shadow will all help like crazy
The big one is shadow though. You could have legit BiS pre-shadow and it would probably be only like 15% better
