Can someone explain this to me; If you get a potato contract, don't you need to "check health" to complete the contract? If you want potato cactus, harvest them every time you roll them for your farming contract (worth regardless. Note: it is slightly better to interrupt harvesting them with one spare inventory space, digging up the plant by using a spade on it, then teleport to the farming guild using e.g. a skills necklace or farming cape, and immediately claiming your contract compared to letting your inventory fill)

but if you don't have the farming cape/skills neck you can just note the cacti as you run past the leprechaun it's not really a big deal.

@wintry sable Sorry for the tag, but im also curious about this part; It is generally best to plant two good seeds each herb run (in the Catherby and Hosidius patch) and 5-6 ‘bad’ seeds in the other patches. This maximises the yield of your most valuable seeds. Which seeds are valuable depends on your own goals. For raw XP, including time to collect secondaries. Why in Catherby and Hosidius and not in Weiss and trollheim?

because catherby and hosidius give a lot higher yield than weiss and trollheim
you want to put the good seeds in the good patches, not the mediocre patches
disease isnt much of a concern with ultracompost and resurrect crop
and, correspondingly, disease-free patches are only around 1.5% above regular ones
but hosi and cath have boosted yield which is massive
