Hi so I'm well on my grind to completely bandos currently.
I'm early prepping myself for the new wave base content due for release in March.
With bowfa/bandos hopefully completed by then, what do you recommend to have alongside these to hit the content on release?
I imagine occult, swamp staff, anguish, torture etc.
I'm eager to see your thoughts on this as I want to prep myself for it.

It's not obvious whether The Coliseum will be melee-based (traditional GWD), ranged-based (similar to FC/Inferno), mage-based (unusual but possible), or even hybrid (I think this is likely, actually)
I suspect you will never be in a bad position if you own the following:
Because they want it to be realistically completable by mid-level players I suspect that tent/bowfa/trident will work "very reasonably". Who's to say though, just get as good gear as you can get in each style and I'm sure it'll work out

im really happy, that thing was so poorly designed
it would make lance on fang bis against dragons
it beat avernic on a bunch of slash weapons
and it wouldnt achieve its stated goal of making salad more relevant and fang less oppressive
it was just all around a bad item for the game

You can't make salad more relevant without meaningfully distinguishing it from tent
Idk how Jagex doesn't realize this
Nobody is paying 120m upfront + 133 GP per charge
When they can pay 2.5m upfront + 184 GP per charge
The tent is "more expensive to use" but you have to use it for ~2.3m charges to break even
Which is... like 1536 hours of continuous combat
