I am in a duo GIM where my partner will soon be rushing CG and I will be on slayer duty. I am on step 12 of the gear progression (bonecrusher etc.) and was wondering if I should just keep doing my melee slayer or do the void grind and use our chins and train range as well? Not sure how big of a priority range is (I know I should be bursting some tasks which I will be soon once I learn when/how to do it.) Am i ignoring range too much or something?

Get 80 hunter, do red chins in priff for ranged to like 92-95 range, 92 if you hate it ofc

#

Finished father of the sins? Need gp? Do high alch hallowed selpchure ot like 92 mage

#

Ingore ranged untill bofa ye

#

And really, there is no real slayer duty as bofa become so broken thats slayer things without occult is basically pointless

#

Lance is okey i guess haha

my partner has the 83 hunter

#

so hes been getting chins/glories

#

but if hes doing bofa and u say slayer isnt that important rn

#

what do i do.. :/

Herblore, runecrafting for wrath runes , constrruction, higher theving (go for the ancient poh), Crafting grind?

#

So many things much better then slayer

#

Without a good weapon

#

Eather both goes for bofa, or one guy do bofa and slayer and the other do skilling

#

Or can do slayer if you want haha, but efficent wise naah

If I were the one rushing cg I would also imagine I'd do slayer for upgrades as my gear and stats would be better suited for demonics which is the next milestone of sorts and to that end I would appreciate having supplies available e.g. pots/food/runes

#

So yeah the most value you can provide comes from a big skilling arc and you have a lot of stuff that Eddy mentioned. It's basically like doing all the slayer prep on a regular iron but asynchronously

#

Realistically speaking, that kind of specialization will likely lead to burnout if you don't see yourself OK with skilling hard so I would recommend you consider working on the bowfa alongside your partner (it might be motivating to run cg at the same time to maintain a healthy competition and incentivize the grind)

probably if you arent doing cg on your acc you should be fine stopping at idk low 80s range for shamans and demonics and such?

#

high range for cg makes t1 a lot more smooth and hunleff requires above a certain amount of dps to clear depending on mistakes made

#

chins on the cg-er more important for sure

herblore wise im doing my herb runs and hard contracts soon so thats passive ig..

#

but it sounds like im more skilling focused

brave patio
#

Yep

#

If you wanna do that, otheriwise join the bofa grind! Haha

sullen stag
#

hmm okay

#

i just thought trident was super important lol

brave patio
#

No haha, fuck that wepon haha, well i guess its importen but not before raids

#

And one of you guys have to anyways do the skilling grind

honestly the annoying truth is that it's just kinda better to have both GIMs get the same base level of stats on everything, with the advantage being that you can shuttle supplies across from one acc to the other and some grinds only need to be done on one acc

#

but realistically I think "get both accs to diary cape and then pvm together" is not as crazy or dumb as it sounds

#

because running parallel solos with fbow everywhere is way faster than duoing everywhere even if you both have fbows

#

since things don't scale linearly

sullen stag
#

okay so general progress is great

#

with few skills being separated

#

thanks

#

ill just work towards my quest cape for now tbh..

ye thats is agood goal!
