you can sell them but you'll hit the price floor almost instantly
they are nearly useless, you dont really get gp from gold bars

but ya I really can't say I would recommend it
in fact I wouldn't recommend alching either if you're doing it for GP
alching gold bars is a Magic training method 😛
probably your best bet if you need some more GP is to do a skilling method that generates GP while training skills, examples being ZMI or Sepulchre
if you have access to certain PVM methods, those are also legit
(assuming you care about the items from said PVM encounters)
