Cool project, I love retro gaming so bringing back the good old days is awesome to see -

A question from a casual though, what makes this better than vanilla beta?

If I had to say from the top of my head it's
-lighting (fog?)
-multiplayer
-interface

Am I missing anything?

The fact it’s on modern minecraft therefore it has most modern features along with mods like end remastered that encourage exploration before getting to the end

Better Beta is now officially on 1.20.1!

This is a MASSIVE update in terms of the internals of the modpack since a lot of mods had to either be removed or replaced... the ones that arent present currently are minor ones like couplings, infinite music, etc etc. all minor mods that are surely to be added to the modpack over the coming weeks as more mods update to 1.20.1

There are new features though! such as being able to block with your shield like in old minecraft, this is completly replacing shields.

As always, please backup your world before updating, especially for a version jump such as this
