The Questions:
How could Imu's victory here not mean the fall of Elbaf? What happens when it falls? Once he leaves, who would rule Elbaf? If it doesn't fall, what prevents it?
Scenario 1 - Elbaf falls, Imu just needed his real body to Domi Loki, problem solved, he gets to leave while Loki can command his demonic army. Looking unlikely now
Scenario 2 - Elbaf falls, Imu has another idea, he Domi Reverses Jarul, the current de-facto king of Elbaf. He gets someone to rule for him, it pays off the older woman gag with him potentially and he becomes a significant threat to Luffy because he's revitalised to the point of regaining his world's strongest tier prime. Can see it.
Scenario 3 - Elbaf falls. Imu calls back Shamrock, he leads Evilbaf instead. Ruler problem solved. Most unlikely to happen, but not impossible at all.
Scenario 4 - Elbaf doesn't fall, and instead Imu just gets stalled by Dragon, leading to him being forced out. Nice and simple, doesn't require more conflict and is the best shot at a quicker (not quick) ending.

I think you're banking too much on Domi Reversi tbh, that's not a problem at all anymore. Chopper just needs to tap them and other people just need to deal critical damage to the users. + I think Luffy and Loki are just immune to it, Imu wasnt surprised at all that it didnt work. The only one that could work is the last one and it kinda sounds very cool. But yeah I know you said this is very speculative but you also seem to forget that the goal of the WG is to have control of Elbaph's warriors, not rule over. You dont think Imu will try to kidnap the kids again? and in the case that he does the arc ends there, cause the giants are now in the side of the WG.
