ep 725 ||luffy saying "gear fourth" in the last few seconds with the music cut out and only the sounds of the raging fire to be heard gave me chills. it shows that he was hiding his trump card this whole time as he let the anger fester up inside of him after what doffy had done to the people of the country and his friends, and he wont let anyone else get hurt. the fire is a perfect fucking touch as it visually represents his anger as well as complimenting the silence, truly representing how luffy feels inside. these few seconds easily become one of my all time favorite anime moments, without even revealing gear fourths power. you just know luffy is gonna fuck shit up.||

Ok so I’m in Ep 80, and ||its so good to see Luffy learning to think about others in ways that don’t involve him charging at a problem. He didn’t fight the villagers of No Name island, and is now holding back his fighting capabilities as he climbs up the mountain so that Nami doesn’t get smacked with recoil. It’s slow but it’s good to see him maturing||

Arc names
Saga names

When in doubt, use spoiler tags just to be safe. Messages that break the rules will be removed, and if you repeatedly forget to do so, you may be punished.
