All these teams continue to pay these players a lot, while my team keeps making it to the SB.
IMO I think that NFL players should have more guaranteed money in their contracts like NBA contracts
With that being said, I remember losing Jamie, Welker, Moss, Chandler, etc. We just go great players for cheap after the draft
While so many teams want to pay certain positions and put all of their stock in the draft
The Pats patiently wait to pick up other team's garbage and show that it's about finding out what players are weak at and maximizing their capabilities. I'm always happy for players like Trey or Dion when they get paid. Next man up. Wynn might be healthy and if not, we'll get a 2nd rounder for the O line. Bennett, Wise and Rivers rotating on the edge is going to be nasty.

The same reason that people called the SB boring is probably why those same people are going crazy over the Brown's acquisitions. They forget for some reason that DEFENSE WINS SBs. The Ravens have a great defense even w/o Suggs. Lamar is coming into his own. Will the Browns defense be able to contain the Steelers or Raven's offenses? They better get a dope defensive piece in FA because they don't have a 1st rd pick this year. The offensive coordinator will struggle to manage this and some think this is a good problem to have. This isn't a good problem to have. Their defense is shit. Baltimore just showed you that their run defense is crazy. You're going to have to deal with trying to keep your running backs hot, plus WRs and QB happy. This has destroyed teams in the past.

Sam Washington cooked my defense. I will never forget it. Yes, my SB winning defense. He was catching and running. Anyone that thinks that AB leaving will drastically change that offense has to think again.
Also, don't forget Eli Rogers. Randy is a breath of fresh air, plus he worked his way up through almost every offensive coaching position

New England’s defense was suspect most of the year man, I watched every game like you did. They performed in legendary fashion in the super bowl, but let’s not act like they weren’t torched often by teams. Eli Rogers is a decent number 3 and I am sorry but losing a transcendent talent like AB, much less having to deal with an aging Big Ben, is going to hurt. Pittsburgh didn’t even make the playoffs last year and that was with the help AB gave

Pittsburgh isn’t some big scary monster, nor were they ever really. They won a couple super bowls since Ben has got there, but more often than not they wasted talent and potential. A talented team that finally lost a huge chunk of their talent. I won’t rate Cleveland over them just yet due to not seeing players gel on the field, but Pittsburgh isn’t as good as Baltimore. Baltimore just lost a huge piece in Mosley but I expect them to perform around the same

NE's defense has always been "bad", but good enough when it mattered
If you're going to mention Mosley, you must mention Suggs who Baltimore lost as well. That is a plus for the Steelers.
Ravens are the only decent defense in that division. So imagine how the Steelers benefit from that
Browns will have to either get a mature ODB or the OC will crumble when Landry gets locked up on an island by opposing defenses
Steelers have it easy in that division and if these were big defensive transactions, i'd be amazed, but it's Kareem and ODB

I think that Ben’s yards will still remain high, but remember Kirk Cousins throws for a lot of yards too and well, he is Kirk Cousins. I don’t doubt that Pittsburgh will still win some games, but the idea they are a scary offense to me just doesn’t really match up. Juju is good, Conners is good, but they just aren’t AB and Bell. Plus Jesse James leaving doesn’t help as he was a great blocking tight end and was good for a nice dagger catch here and there.

Tannehill isn't the greatest, but he does what he's coached to do
Wasted too much of his career in the AFC East. Which is not good for young players
Many believe the AFC east is the weakest division and that is incorrect
Truth is that the other 3 teams have a better record against the rest of the NFL than against the Pats
