It is, main event up next. It's about to be a WAR
Do you pay for those matches?

Hey man, the guy whose live stream I'm watching paid for it. I'm paying for it by proxy
Mmmm not sure if that’s how proxy works
It was the most convenient BS I could come up with
Lmao
Tbh I don’t watch a lot of UFC
Or uh
Boxing or anything lol
So it would be hard for me to pick
Basically really great wrestler with a decent chin vs all around good fighter with a decent chin

Welp, so much for a war
Fight ended in like 30 seconds
Champ retains
Why do ufc fights go so quick damn
Damn. That would suck if a ref ended it on a mistake
I mean at least we all gettin it lmao
Lul
Oh Drake.
Big Oof on that dropped TD, you gotta come down with those
Holy shit that Saints crowd is crazy
Big oof, picked off in your own red zone
Credit where credit is due, your D is holding their offense in check so far
Rough start and a half
You still got 3 quarters man, and you get ball at half. Just wait and see what they can do
bro
we need more than 5 yrds
for me to feel confident lmao
they have 13 points and we got 5 yrds
Dude, that crowd right now. Someone has a whistle or something
There you go, little bit of trickery to get you going
Chipping away at that lead
got to Brees lol
There you go Fate, they made it a game!
omg
honestly
it looked impossible
but this is all on our defense
for keeping the score low
And now you get ball to kick off the 2nd so you have all the momentum
we are 0-8 with this ref and we havent got 1 call all game @rustic ore
even the 50/50 ones have been against us
You know what's funny is I was checking out the Saints fan page on SBnation and they're the ones blaming the refs for this game being close

sigh
yikes
Saints D coming in clutch
They are relentless
I don't think that kick was smart. Should of let Gurley have a try
He's playing it safe
Damn, that was probably the long holding pocket I've seen all season
woooooooooooow
god damn
this shit always happens
kamara somehow finds a way out
and then they find a 50 yder
All comes down to this stand, 1st down and it's over, hold them to 3 here and you have a chance at tying it
All comes down to this
nice stop
WOW
How is that not DPI?
I mean I don't have a dog in this but that was blatant.
Welp, y'all have your chance now. About 1:40 left on the clock with 1 TO
Refs are letting em play lol
Here we go
OT or bust here
Big oof, going to OT
Had my butt puckered there for a second, thought is was going wide right
Wow
If they get this then what a comeback
@honest umbra @broken hound Grats on making it to the SB!
Nah, i'm a Pats fan
Oh yeah, my b. Well if they win then I'll send you a grats
Congrats Fate
I got butterflies
Saints fans are gonna be pissed for good reason, they got robbed by the non call at the end.
Still though, GG Rams for getting revenge
Ram fans were saying they lost, once the refs were announced. Now look
Tbf they were 0-8 under the ref and average 5 flags under them
yup, I seen that stat so much since Thursday
Tell you what, if Goff runs the table he'll definitively label himself as not only a top 10 QB but maybe even the best young QB in the league.
Marcus Peters is entertaining
He always is
noooooooooo
Chiefs have to be aggressive if they want to win this.
Wasted a golden opportunity by not going for it on 4th down, then Berry just dropped an easy pick a number of plays ago
Chiefs just keep screwing themselves
@rustic ore are you having fun?
Marcus Peters for President
Mad then a bitch, and they still gone be mad “- juice man https://t.co/zM3Iv7nrJb
14-0
Brady
Gosh damn man, Pats are going all the way aren't they
I really really really hope so
A win against the team that everyone wrote New England off against, in their house
Against Saint Mahomes
Probably the worst missed call I’ve ever seen
Right? I'm a Bucs fan so the Saints can go fuck off by the was disgusting officiating.
It was literally the worst thing man
Mahomes is insane man, I have no faith in them winning this game but that dude is going to be something special for a long time
I am not a fan of him in the slightest
Well to be fair I don't think you're gonna be a fan of any QB who might stop the Pats from going to/winning an SB
You can ask anyone who knows me, I hate any competition lol
Still though, it's freaky. He plays exactly like Favre did back in his prime
Except I think he might have a stronger arm
Tell you what, this game is reflecting really poorly on Andy Reid imo. How can you have your team making as many mental mistakes as the Chiefs have had in this game?
This Chiefs teams is scary af still. Not over by a long shot. Even with mental mistakes
That sidearm though, sweet Jesus
Least it's a game again
Wow, that was a hell of a stop
Oh shit, if they don't reverse that then it won't just be the Saints who got hosed today
it's under review, Julz didn't touch it
😳
not a catch
I just...I really don't know how to process this game, it's gotten insane lately
Now it's a game
Before this game I made a prediction for a bet that this game would end 27-24 Chiefs. We'll see what happens.
Chiefs took the lead finally
no no
what are your thoughts
did edelman touch it?
did the chiefs recover cleanly?
No I don't think he touched it
Razor thin closeness though
Like he lucked out that he didn't accidently touch that
Chiefs fan came onto the field
I hope he/she was naked, if you're gonna be stupid at least make it memorable
flag
Bad call
Basically the same exact thing that happened to Mahomes earlier that wasn't called
Okay now that should've been called holding on Berry
Bad challenge
Cannot risk a TO when it's not clear a call would be reversed
Loved him at Georgia, he's gonna be the focal point of your offense once Brady is gone.
Boy, that Jackson kid is having a rough game with the refs
Think that was his 3rd penalty this game
Little bit ticky tacky for me but whatever
Hill saved that from being a pick
They made a big mistake there. They gave y'all the 2 minute and you have all 3 TOs
Not sure if that was a mistake or not. On the one hand you're past the 30, on the other you just got rid of the 2 minute warning
That might get overturned
This game is insane
Rex!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Down 3 with 39 seconds left and 1 TO. Not impossible to tie/win, just very unlikely.
I am praying so hard
This game got so much better during the 2nd half, almost makes me forget how much of a shitshow that Rams-Saints game was
Jesus Christ I’ve never wanted 39 seconds off the clock so much
oh boy
Now do you take 1 shot to the endzone?
Apparently yes
Can't take a sack, can't risk a pick.
My guess would be a lob to Kelce down the sideline
Game on the line, see if another Pepsi commercial happens
There you go, headed to OT
Damn man, anyone know off hand when was the last time both games in conference championship week went to OT?
Dude, Tony Romo is fantastic as a commentator
Knew exactly what NE was gonna do before they did it
Tell you what, Edelman looked really rusty when he came back from his suspension but he looks back to his old self the last couple weeks
Pretty sure that should've been a flag but whatever
Rex man
over
Sigh
Grats man! @rustic mountain
FUCK YESSSSSSSS
Brady the goat
GOOD BYE MAHOMES
He will
I am glowing
Dude is crazy, pretty sure he's gonna get the MVP this year
@honest umbra see you in ATL boi
Shuck reid
Mahomes is a young legend. Can't wait to see him play next season
Pats are winning
Yeah
Old man beli will crush the up and coming super star coach
See what happened Sab? The match up I was hoping would happen for the sake of friendship panned out
Mahomes is the MVP. Andy Reid is a future HOFamer
What a fuckin game
Instant classic
Brady completed three third down and tens
Bob Sutton needs the boot but Reid is gonna be too stupid to do it
Mahomes carried that team on his back, just imagine what he could do with a competent defense at his disposal
I don't want mahomes to become another Brees. A great offense but a piss poor defense for years
Same
Hate seeing talent wasted due to incompetent coaches/front office personel
Ultimately the Chiefs early game mistakes came to bite them, the defense played well enough overall today to win (what with the 2 picks) but the offense never capitalized early.
They did a hell of a job coming back from 14-0
that 4th quarter seemed like
it was never going to end
38 f'n points
there was like 4-5 times the ball could have switched possessions
I want Chiefs vs Pats every year
2 fantastic games this season
i'm still shaking
Fate
The sports world wants us to go head to head
Again
Tbh I am the happiest I’ve been all year sports wise outside the last World Series game. Beating KC in KC is just great
sigh
imagine losing as the dodgers
and rams
and if lakers make the playoffs, them too
i'd be so depressed
i know cities know through far longer droughts but i wanna see one of my teams win a national championship, come on
I can’t really talk considering that uh
My last title was this year...
But I still want this super bowl my guy
Storylines for SB 53 gonna be interesting. Pats trying to become the 2nd franchise to win 6 SB titles, Brady trying to become the first player to ever win 6 rings (in the city where he won his first against the same franchise they're about to face), McVay trying to become youngest HC to ever win a SB, Goff trying to cement himself as the next big thing and the best young QB by going through Brees and now trying to go through the GOAT.
Storylines were there for all 4 teams tbh
the best storyline will be the belichick and brady era ending against the same team that ignited their era
it started against the STL Rams and will end against the LA Rams
Or continuing their dominance and continuing to reign
a young Brady at QB, a perplexing Belichick at HC against the formidable favored STL Rams
fast forward almost 1 and a half decade
The Rams are favored in the SB betting line again Fate
lol
idc about the betting line
both chiefs and saints were -3 today
they both lost
If Goff pulls this off that's a passing the torch moment, there's no doubt about it.
the thing is Mahomes is a better QB rn
He is
I’d rather not pass the torch
so who is he passing the torch to??
If he wins he's gonna take it then
I’d rather no one takes it either
idk sab i know they say this every single year
Winning is too much fun

I became a Pat fan, the same season they beat the Panthers. Man, that SB was crazy.
I wasn't with them for the Rams SB
i wasnt
But was a fan
stl rams wasnt a team i supported
if there was any team I favored, it was the panthers for newton
steelers were fun to watch too
I’ve been a Pats fan since Bledsoe my man
eric bledsoe?
Yes Fate. Eric Bledsoe the basketball player
Steelers had the perfect team, but they've been imploding for the last 2 seasons
Tomlin is a good coach, he's just a shit disciplinarian
Imagine have a top 5 RB and 2 top 5 receivers and just dysfunctional
I disagree I think Tomlin is meh
Never had a losing season
And part of that reason is his lack of discipline
gurley had like what 5 running attempts today??
He has been riding the coat tails of high end talent
i think he'll be healthy by the sb
Gurley did look really off today
i think if kareem hunt plays, chiefs win
i just want so much pressure on brady by suh and donald
Damn, Hunt was a big loss
like crazy amount
Think they draft an RB high this year?
I want Goff to go back to pre McVay Goff
Yes thanks
but y'all, its gonna be cold in ATL
brady is a monster in the cold
goff's record in the cold was 6 pts overall
Isn’t it a dome?
Of course you do, and I'm sure the Rams would prefer if Brady went back to game manager Brady like he was before Spygate
Yes it's in a dome
A really nice one at that
Then no worries
I honestly don't think Goff is as good as Mahomes or Brees. It's that defense, Gurley and the receivers
He is
his qb rating was 104
I'd prefer Brees for a better match
IMO if he beats Brady it's a taking the torch moment
but you literally stated why rams would
I mean, as a Pats fan I want a cake walk
Foles beat Brady and Brady broke records in that SB with 505
aside from brandin cooks btw, goff working with the same caliber of wr's as brady is
josh reynolds yikes
Robert Woods isn't a slouch now
Cooks is better than Julz and Dorsett. He was on our team last season
Edelman is probably better than the majority of LA’s wr
but they weren't known names anywhere
Not Cooks
Outside only Edelman
before this season
cooks has 3 straight seasons of 1k receiving yards with 3 diff teams
Cooks was our best receiver last season
brees, brady then goff
But Cooks while a great deep threat isn’t as consistent in the middle etc
i want a revenge game
He isn’t a one trick pony or anything
cooks has been amazing for the rams everywhere
honestly rarely use him as a deep threat after week 9
Cooks isn't as tough as Julz, but he's a deep threat
he gets to a 100 yds usually by slick runs
better hands too
Any prediction for the game?
im gonna be bias and say rams win 28-21
But I still take the hands of Edelman in crunch time
i dont feel bad about it
Pats win 18-14
Pats 35 Rams 21
holding rams to 14 points?
yes
Belichick>>Reid defensively
True
You’re giving Bill 2 weeks to plan for this team
That was a college game
Does A beating B means A beats C
rarely does it mean one of the most explosive offenses is held to 14 points as well
I mean
Brady's gonna run the clock better and Belichick will take a weapon away like Gurley and Cooks
Look what happened to Denver
I am not saying New England is Seattle
But things happen
I think I have to take the safe route and go Pats 27-23
yikes
Sorry Fate
y'all actually believe this
lol
I believe in my team 100% man
nah your prediction is within a fair range, buc
im just baffled at rams
only scoring 14
Goff isn't dropping more than 20 on Belichick imo
I can see LA putting up 28
Yeah that's a hot take and a half, no chance in hell they don't put up at least 3 TDs on that defense
suh, donald and fowler showed up today too
Only thing that matters is Brady puts up more points than Goff. Then I’ll be happy
brady's gonna be in even more pressure than today
Bout time, Donald been carrying that D by himself
Fate
Remember when Brady dismantled the best defense since 2010 in Seattle
I member
werent seattle gonna win
Held Tyreke to only 42 yards
Andy Reid doesn't take weapons away, so you get a college like shootout
Bill will take away Goff's weapons
but
that was from seattle's pov
literally brady had NOTHING to do with that decision
lmao
I mean, Brady still put up 4 TDs on that defense
Flores is gonna be the Dolphins HC next season smh
i think the rams matchup extremely well
I am not saying you are but you were saying Seattle only lost due to a bad choice which they did sure
i wanted the pats over the chiefs undoubtedly
How much you want to bet they fire him in 3 years if things don't go the way they want because Stephen Ross is a moron?
Idk I think 2 weeks and a hungry Brady is major favorable
chiefs might be a slightly weaker team that rams can expose
but they are extreme wildcards
who need 3 plays to change a game
whereas pats heavily rely on brady
and i feel rams are far more suspectible to chiefs kind of playstyle
im in the room with Brady GOAT convo
i dont think pats offense is where they'll lose
i think it's their defense
but I'm clearly outnumbered here, most of us are homers and no argument in the world is gonna change our minds
so ima just take a few steps back
i don't think we've used any facts
except for hyperboles as 'Brady always does it'
so it isn't essentially a debate
ik, that's what I am doing too
It’s a game, not the end of the world
i'm just saying we could both spend the next hour typing the same stuff
and not be anywhere else
so id rather conserve my time lool
let it be known that I've actually rooted for the pats every sb they've been in the past 5 years
among the anomaly
i hated the seahawks
and thought eagles were hella brash
I will say this though, while I am picking the Pats to win I would prefer that the Rams win so that Fate can be happy with the 2018 sports season as well, and considering you already got the WS Sab I'd say it's only fair
i know the whole country's gonna band together to root against the pats in 2 weeks time
i always loved being part of "being against that"
And the Seahawks
but now I actually have to root for the rams
because it's what I support lol
and that's very kind of you, buc
It would be fair Buc sure
oh except for new orelans i guess, they hate us
But I am greedy
I love when everyone is against the Pats. It's beautiful
we gained fans in carolina and atlanta at the expense of new orleans
i agree that call was PI
I can’t believe they missed that
but Goff literally was facemasked the play before on the 1
people are arguing "well it wasnt as big of a call"
"it didnt IMPACT the game"
are you kidding me mate
I don’t like that argument
And they came out a few minutes after the game and said "Opps, we fucked up, we're sorry"
if they score the TD, they're up 4
lmao i think they admitted it to payton, buc
best part

Suppose it could just be chalked up to Karma for Bountygate
That's always gonna be a thing for as long as Payton is the HC of NO
Karma always comes back around I suppose
10 year challenge
im gonna see that meme soon
arent i
how befitting it was exactly 10 years ago too
Yeah man, Karma is a bitch
i'm getting old smh
Same
one more year
and 10 year drought for the lakers
only decade lakers never won was the 90's
It’s been over 10 for the Celtics
Don't start with the Lakers plz
My B-day is in like 3 1/2 weeks
AYE
my bday is in 4 and a 1/2 weeks
The Lakers are cursed
February babies represent
Lonzo just got hurt
after Bron
How bad was it?
i was so depressed after yesterday's game
that i wanted the rams t
to win so bad today**
out 4-6 weeks
I'm not a Lakers fan
but seeing them get good, then lose a player to injury hurts
they were up 17 when he left
Ooof
Never wanna win by an injury
and ended up losing in OT
It’s not honorable
I respect that young core that they're building
You know what? For as much of an asshole as Lavar is I actually like Lonzo, think he has a good head on his shoulders. Shouldn't have been taken at 2 but it is what it is
I wish him well
Lavar is an ass hat, but never had an issue with Lonzo
Middle one seems to be a cunt though
🤷🏻♂️
The one who got arrested in China
I am just having fun watching Kyrie
The 1 that stole lol
LiAngelo I think is his name
Staying in my lane
It's still hilarious
liangelo is the middle
La something
lamelo balling out rn in hs
All that possible money in the future and he's stealing lol
lol

He's got to be eating something when he's not eating Ws
finger licking
I am hoping Arians brings you boiz to the playoffs
SO damn badly
Sup
its my first personal sb
You and me both
supporting my OWN team
Dude
how am I supposed to get ready
Alcohol
pray everyday
You can do it a couple ways
If you drink sure
Get some
But not a ton
Dont wanna be wasted
And tbh man
Or do, winning an SB can be crazy fun
Take in everything
Like I know this is rich coming from a dude who is a boston fan
I went 3 days w/o praying last year
and Belichick sat Butler and we lost
But you never know when your team is gonna get back
So enjoy the media day, the photo shoots
The lead ip
Up
who's a player you only like when he's on your team
And Suh
But like I said I am happy for the Rams
ik suh has had a reputation every single year
but dude
he has been the most humble
and classy person
They aren’t a team that pisses me off
this year
And I love Brandin Cooks
i was lowkey a bit annoyed when they first got him
but im actually surprised how mature he's been
This year, don't change all the dirty shit he did before LA
Especially when he was in Detroit
wade phillips whips these boys somehow
I wish Cooks was still with us
GIVE EM BACK
Change is good for a fella like that
Lmao
Cooks just wasnt the perfect fit for us
And it would have cost a hella ton to keep him
He wanted his money. Not mad at em
BB never likes overpaying guys, Gilmore was legit the most he had to have splurged in years
i def know cooks is
Brafy takes paycuts, but everyone won't get what they deserve
Wynn*
12 picks in the draft this year too
michel got 5 td's in the last 2 games
It doesnt matter
smh

Well the thing is shutting down Ezikel meana Dak has to throw
And lmao
Dak throwing
or Redemption Rex

It's insane to me that there was once a college team that had both Michel and Nick Chubb and didn't win a title
Romo should help Dak in the off season
I dont know if you can fix Dak’s arm
you know michel and gurley played together, buc???
It’s kinda cool
Cowboys curse
Damn, was Michel a freshman Gurley's last year?
yes
Wow
They played together yeah
This is actually a fun game
Michel/Gurly
Cooks
Talib
Mcvay being the youngest coach
Belichick being the longest tenured
Goff on the right side of 20
Brady on the wrong side of 50
Talib was with us years ago
Talib leaves a sour taste in my mouth man.
I mean Belichick still talks about people like Teddy Bruschi
And Wes Welker
Talib the Chain Snatcher
I geninuely believe he's the reason our defense perked up
Talib isn’t them but he played well for us
Dude was an asshole when he was with my team, of course he doesn't decide to act like a damn pro till he goes to a good team
lol
Like i'm like 'damn'
He was kinda an asshole in one game for new england
Against Carolina
Dude HATED Steve Smith
Well Steve Smith is a massive cunt so that's understandable
If you go look up that game
Patriots is the home for the wild
Browner, Aaron Hernendez, Talib
Talib was being a dick lmao
Yikes indeed
comparing aaron hernandez to talib
We housed a few undesirables
we take in everyone
talib snatches chains, hernandez put someone in the ground
Josh Gordon
oh shit lol
But tbf it wasnt like Belichick knew Hernandez and Browner were gonna be well
Them
Belichick likes redemption projects
yup
oh god
i completely forgot
y'all had josh gordon
omg imagine if he was playing in the sb
god forbid he doesnt find his way
but i am so happy
see
Hence people like Corey Dillon, Albert Haynesworth, etc
he is not playing
He still supports us as he gets help
Yeah he is supporting the team
I am glad we got him and he was able to find good people
Tbh
Jules and him seem to be great friends
thats how I feel about suh
Josh Gordon might be the biggest waste of talent the NFL has seen in the 21st century
Hate to see it
He probably is sadly
Megatron set records
I respect McVay
megatron was actually the best WR in the league
The dude just played on legit the shittiest team
for a good amount of team
lions have a knack of finding individual brilliance
and not utilizing it
and no im not inlcuding stafford
Good players on bad teams isn't a waste in the same way a guy like Gordon is. Megatron had his shit together and was a consummate pro, Gordon could've been the best in the league and flushed it away for drugs
I wish him well, but dude is a dumbass
I hate the Lions
They took Patricia and now Dolphins are taking Brian
When he could have had reaaaal demons
Then he shouldn't have kept trying to get back in the league
yup
Yup
I mean it’s all but done
Yeah his career is over
dolphins always have talent though
And idk I think Josh tried but just
No chance he comes back now
They keep taking our coordinators
Our Coordinators rarely work out
Idk about Gordon. It's confusing
He tried at least
So is McDaniels the heir apparent of BB or what?
And he did something a lot of people could never do
Tbh I hope
I think Josh fits well
Tfw Brady has only missed 4 title games in his career
You already know people are going to bitch about the Rooney Rule if he is already their guy
For the 16th time in 18 years, a QB named Tom Brady, Peyton Manning or Ben Roethlisberger will represent the AFC in the Super Bowl.
AFC keeps it consistent
joe flacco 2012
Or the other teams are just fucking garbage
what a run
Why did I forget about Kurt Warner?
Wait who was 2002? Rich Ganon?
reynolds
Holy fuck
Yeah
I forgot that dude existed
thats ryan reynolds, sab
My boys stomped his ass 48-21 baby
The last time I heard the name Ganon
And yes he looks like RR ngl lmao
But the last time I heard that name was fucking nfl street
Wait he also announces games
Yup
Okay that and NFL street
That shit is still fun even if it promotes massive hits and head injuries
The crown jewel of my sports fandom is watching my team's best D ever making the Raiders look silly
Damn near in their home turf
That has to be so satisfying
Think I was 9 when they won it
I think my crown jewel is coming back 28-3
I was let’s see
2002
Yikes
I was 11
It's only been 2 year since your crown jewel
Wait wait
Crown Jewel is Seattle SB
I live in Seattle
You know how much shit talking there was?
A lot I imagine
So 4 years ago
4 yeh
There you go
Idk man anymore I am just having fun watching Tom further distance himself from his old contemporaries
Even if NE doesnt win
Brady is so much better than literally anyone. Especially fucking Peyton Manning
God I still hate Peyton Manning
My goodness, Deion Sanders on NFL Network bitching about it not being fair Mahomes didn't get a shot at the ball. They're pro athletes, one side is paid to score points and the other side is paid to stop them. Life ain't fair.
Never hated anyone more
nah
Cause he was really good
Nope
give both teams the ball
Dont agree
the coin toss
I am a pats fan sure
Bucco is right though
both teams have played for 60 mins, why is it up to the toss to decide?
They would've had a chance if the D came up with a stop, they didn't but they had their chance
You pay both sides of the ball
They only had to keep em to field goal
So we have to cater to them?
Toss up doesn't decide it, your play decides it
dont just end it there
Sorry cant agree
its so enfuriating watching one QB who has battled
all game
not be given the chance
to get back on the field
You get a TD you win, would've said the same thing if the Chiefs won and Sanders was bitching about Brady deserving a chance
Then their D should have played better
i dont care that its the pats who scored the td
would be saying the same thing if chiefs did
i was complaining when the saints got the ball
I know
Football is a team game man
But I just don’t think catering to the offense is worth it
I dont like when college does it
im not saying defense is unimportant or should take a second seat
but let the other sides defense prove
they can stop them
as well
Mmmm Idk. I just don’t agree. Like if the starting D can hold the other team to a fg
why are you given a second chance with a fg but not with a td?
bro this isnt fair
Don't matter how hard an individual player performs, if the team as a whole ain't on top if their shit they're gonna lose. Chiefs had 3 opportunities to either force a punt or make them settle for a field goal, they failed to capitalize
Life ain't fair
im aware both sides have to be played
but when the toss has essentially decided you're gonna always pay the ball in ot
It undermines the team aspect to me
then you have to realize something's wrong
it isnt strategy
it undermines team moral that you always play offense
even if you're a better defensive team??
There shouldn’t be a luck based thing in there
literally no has ever said 'yea we'll recieve in OT'
there should never ever be the case of a toin coss
god its so trash and enfuriating
Mmmm I can agree only in the luck aspect
can't argue 'yea your team just has to defend haha' when your team doesnt even have the balls to send your own defense out ONCE
10 out of 10 times, chiefs or pats would take the ball
or the rams
or saints
let both sides take the field once, it'll decide games significantly more wholesome
shouldnt be based off of how much wind metric is hitting the coin
But the toss isn't deciding anything, the team is. Pats easily could've gone 3 and out and the Chiefs would've gone done and either gotten a TD or a FG to win, but they didn't. They took it down the field and punched it in for the W, Chiefs had multiple opportunities to prevent that but they didn't, they have no one to blame for that L but themselves.
on the certain day
Buc makes a good point there
Well Fate
and not structurally broken down anything I've said lol
but that opportunity was created by that defense, you were in charge of your own offense
brees had that chance today
he just turned it over
Right, but I just think that this caters to one side of the ball over the other
You know what else could've been counted as an opportunity created by a defense? If the Chiefs D stopped the Pats O from scoring a TD on that last drive
i think till they can find a system which acually systmetically and strategically challenges how teams go into OT, it will always be unfair
we know whoever wins the toss will grab the ball first
Not necessarily dude
the crowd cheers literally when they've heard you've won the toss
because they know what's coming next
Just because the advantage was Brady’s doesn’t mean that the pats should have to give up that advantage
Of course they do, they're hoping/expecting a TD, and if they don't get one then they're giving their opponents a chance to win.
QB's like Brady and Mahomes (especially with the momentum coming off of the 4th) only need 1 drive
doesnt matter who's on the other side of the ball
Yes but not every team has a Brady or Mahomes
Yes Mahomes is amazingly talented
change playoff OT then
in no world will I ever concede the current system is a fair system
I wouldn’t be against that totally
But
I am not going to say giving the other team a chance is fair
There is probably a system that satisfies both
do it college football ot style
Patrick Mahomes’ magical first season as a starter:
—50 TD (No. 1)
—82 QBR (No. 1)
—5,097 yards (No. 2)
—Chiefs 35.3 PPG (No. 1)
—MVP front-runner
He'll be back
Give that dude a better interior line, a new RB, and at the very least a mediocre defense and he'll win a title next year
