At which point the 2 belts together were considered 1 “WWE World Heavyweight Championship”

That lasted for about 2 years until they just dropped the big gold one and renamed it the WWE championship full time

Then in about Summer of 2016 they pulled the same “champion is brand specific” deal and announced they were making a brand new world title for Raw: the Universal championship
