I really liked that Batman didn't feel the need to overuse dialogue and was more comfortable just relying on cinematic elements, making the watcher actually have to take part in constructing meaning from what they're seeing as opposed to just expositioning everything away.

Sonic movie 2 || great movie. Such a phenomenal sequel that stays true to the story of the games and feels like a mesh of them that just fits well. The movie was pretty funny too and I didn’t mind the human moments too much since they came and went and were far and few in between. The bride side plot was pretty funny overall and glad that got resolved relatively quickly. Agent Stone is probably the best eggman sidekick. The Master Emerald containing the 7 chaos emeralds was a pretty good way to introduce the emeralds to the series. And I’m glad it was still able to be reformed with the shards despite the emeralds not being with it. It’s a smooth transition to the post credit scene with shadow which I’m so happy they went in that direction. I do wonder if they’ll introduce Amy to the mix though ||
I’ll see if I can watch the Northman and some other movies in the following weeks

Not enjoying Mat's development much. Not saying it's bad per se, but i am just not enjoying it is all. Mat and Rand's journey between Whitebridge and Caemlyn felt waaay too dragged out and i was fed up of it by the end, it has been more interesting since Caemlyn tho with the introduction of the Ogier.
I had high hopes for Egwene honestly after the first few chapters but she's just coming off as a selfish prick and honestly I have found myself wishing she just didn't exist at some points. If that was intended, well done to the author. Feel bad for Perrin tho, and if it wasn't for him i would probably just be skimming the parts that deal with that journey.
Finally Rand is just... there. Honestly I don't care much about Rand either way.
Overall kinda disappointed in the cast, tho the setting is excellent. Story itself is okay so far but it's like it's just more Tolkien and i have read a lot of Tolkienesque fantasy so it doesn't feel that great.||
