Another heartwarming chapter of the Batman webcomic

Book One ( as in Part 1 ) of Gardens of the Moon ( Book 1 of Malazan Books of the Fallen, like literally a book this time ) (upto ch 5 I think) ||Woah hoo that was hectic. So much stuff going on so many things to process. There's so little build up, it just throws right in the thick of it like it feels like i started a series from from like the middle or something. The magic seems pretty confusing to be honest with all the houses and the deck system and Warrens and whatnot. I like the characters a lot. Whiskeyjack really gives off the vibe of the troubled legend kind of character, Sail has been hinted to have a deep, miserable backstory and I really love how she keeps iterating that the 2nd army seems to being out the humanity in her, love those moments a lot. Paran I don't have an opinion on yet, I wanna see more of where he goes before deciding whether I like him or not. ||

Malazan book1 p1 ||Feel kinda sorry for sorry, poor little fishergirl turned into that. I am curious about that old hags prophecy tho, wonder where that will lead ( sorry not sorry about that pun... No, not about the second one either )||

||Ya know, I was never the emotional type of guy. The dude to really cry at anything really, I’m not trying to sound like some edgy cool guy persona type stuff but you get what I’m saying. Living most of my life with OCD, Anxiety, and being on the bipolar spectrum really takes a toll on my life. Constantly making me ask certain questions that usual people wouldn’t ask themselves. Why am I alive? Should I be alive? Do I really even enjoy my presence? Of course, I don’t mean to think these things but with I suffer from make me think these things and make me wanna do things that I wouldn’t wanna do to myself. This movie made me realize that despite all the hardships I should genuinely keep on moving forward, this is in my top 3 pieces of fiction now. This movie teaches us to live to the fullest and appreciate the little things. That leaf you slipped on yesterday, fucking laugh about it! That person that you talked to, thank them! And that food you also ate, be happy! I know I’m going on a rant but please, watch this movie. It’s amazing.||

Excellent coming-to-age stories, good short books that don't require massive commitment

Yet she's also very much qualified and good at all those things. She can take over a room at a moments notice and sound like the wisest expert on matters. ||

||I think her and Jasnah take over scenes because they are almost always the most composed and pragmatic. They feel in control all the time||

RoW ch 50 ||JASNAH IS THE GOAT. Aghhh so good. The build up in that scene is amazing. It escalates perfectly. And I love how now Dalinar is considering extrapolating a lesson from what Jasnah did to Ruthar but to Odium. Jasnah is also just incredibly ruthless. I know that was already established in WoK but man, she captures the scene whenever she’s onscreen. Every action she does feels like a well calculated manoeuvre. She always seems in control of every scene she’s in. Yet to see Jasnah truly flustered or intimidated. She’s a straight badass||

Brandon books ||He is known for his relatively simple prose but also intricate character writing. He is also widely regarded as having one of the best if not the best magic/power systems in fantasy so if you like that. I think the world building in Stormlight is very good and original, he definitely strayed away from your traditional medieval themed fantasy while also keeping some classic fantasy elements. But the thing I love most about Stormlight is the character writing. All the main characters are like 10/10 for me. ||
