I just watched the first season of Cobra Kai and ||love that Daniel Larusso wasn't straight out the villain of the story, I was expecting an inversion of roles since Johnny Lawrence was the protagonist. This is better, more complex, less 80s cartoonishy drama||

Cobra Kai S1 ||also, Robby is the perfect 80s cover guy, he has the looks, the backstory, the sensei and even the same Daniel movie-story/rival and all. That's why I know he's gonna be a great villain||

Last thing about CObra kai s1 ||I like that the cobra kai-do won, despite the dirty tricks, they actually do karate meanwhile the Miyagi-do is a hollywood shenanigans. However, Lawrence training was hilariously closer to the Miyagi style than Daniels||

2001 || also really liked the idea that HAL's imperfection is what essentially made him a human, and his reaction to them trying to disconnect (kill) him is the same as a human's, fear and self-preservation, and you can see it visibly shake Dave as he kills HAL slowly ||

BOBF ||I think the clear endgame is he becomes the respected crimelord of tatooine, and maybe even the outer rim like jabba was. The flashback storyline is pretty clearly leading him to where we saw him in mando, his role in the Tusken tribe is really wholesome too I love that||

|| uh ok so I feel that Maul's crime syndicate died after clone wars... only in the recent crimson reign issues did Qira take over Crimson Dawn after ESB. But it was already foreshadowed that she'd be defeated before Return of the Jedi, and with Maul dead in Rebels, I doubt it'll play a factor in Boba's reign unless it somehows re-rises. But I really really I doubt, cause I think every bit of Mauls' Shadow collective will die with Qira) ||
