damn think the witcher games have spoiled me on the show
ur spoiled now?
only on some small things, but yeah
Unless the Show is based on the book only, and the book is wildy different from the games
show is more based on books
and games dont effectively follow the books
you're spoiled in some small ways
characters and some storylines
show still a different aesthetic doe
I found out ||Duny is The king of Novigard or some shit||
And its kinda a big spoiler but I think i can still enjoy the show
yea I think you'll still enjoy the show, william
will u be able to ever like a character like that, william
shes young so shes going to make naive decisions
Idk cant think of one, but i think ive liked similar characters
She's just bratish and some of her episodes are a bit lame, like the one in the forest with those ladies
Yeah i think they will
young royalty is always like that though
thats the point of them being young and ignorant
it makes sense yeah, doesnt mean i like her any more thouugh
thats fair
Just watched joker
And I have no idea how I feel about it
Lots of cool and good moments but—-
Idk. Hard. To explain
ppl are too quick with their 10/10
hey rai did you notice that ||his girl friend was fake||
Yes ofc
okay good because a certaint memeber here didnt
who was that member
It was pretty blatant . ||the way they showed her at the door, hospital and then immediately showing the same scene without her||
||as if she was never there||
How would u rate hotel el Royale
||all part of his imagination||
El Royale was really fun. But I’m not gonna lie, It lost me a little by the end
I like him.
But I wished they casted someone else
Didn’t really fit the role. Imho
I liked blackKklansman more
BlackKKKlansman was enjoyable
Same year
Dont remember alot of details but it was fun
It was fun . I’d give it a 6/10
The opening scene with Eric Baldwin was gold
Opening Scene of BlacKkKlansman (2018)
Starts at 0:53
I guess you kinda have to know who Eric Baldwin is
Happy Martin Luther King day
Interstellar was fantastic
guess it's time to watch every Christopher Nolan movie now
I though it was average.
I Like his other work better
Inception, The Prestige & The Dark Knight
considered making a letterboxd list but when I realized there were sixteen thousand movies released in 2019 alone I balked a little
👀
so that's how many I'd have to check through to be consistent
168k in the 2010s
guess I don't really want a movie list as badly as all that
In my life I’ve watched around 600 movies
I though that was a lot
But other users have like 2-3k to their name
Must be their job or something
imagine watching movies as your job and not having seen every movie to ever exist
shameful

time to go listen to the docking music again
whole movie was worth it to listen to that in context
I think Letterboxd also count documentaries
yep
1917 good, Wolf of Wallstreet aight, rest havent watched
Oh, Aliens was decent too
Yeah I liked Alien (1979) a lot
Looking forward to Aliens (1986)
There is 1 movie I’m slightly terrified to watch
It’s called, come and see
I have a feeling it will mess me up mentally
War is Not fun, just seeing some of the images of it online is making my stomach turn
I’m hoping it’s not as harsh and unforgiving as I’m imagining— and i hope I’ll be able to “enjoy” it
so Christopher Nolan works with his brother Jonathan Nolan, who works with Lisa Joy to make Westworld
my watchlist keeps expanding
Westworld is amazing
If you enjoy quality
You’ll love it
I think Memento is a collaboration between Christopher Nolan and his bother Jonathan Nolan
It’s a super confusing movie
But you get the gist of it towards the end
he co-wrote Interstellar with him
Damn
I like now that I like watching movies I can use them to fill in the gaps when I'm not reading manga
As long as you find good movies you enjoy
@limpid meadow u never seen wolf of Wall Street?
Nah buf I thought it was really cool and good
Cant say I absolutely loved it
That only goes for sopranos and the wire
And maybe the first few seasons of GoT, altough the last last season made me salty about the whole series
Ah, thought so
The people who call season 2 shit are the same people who cry and call SJW crap whenever they see a women on screen. I will however say the last few episodes were a little rocky. Season 1 is definitely superior in so many ways.
But reducing s2 to shit, is laughable
And very telling.
Season 2
For comparison, season 1
For reference, this is what shit looks like
lmaqo
interestring
might give it a shot then anyway
but from what I understood, season 2 doesnt end the series right?
getting a bit tired of all these never ending tv shows
Yeah s3 is on the way.... which I’m concerned about. Wish they only did 2 seasons
Adam Driver ('Marriage Story' 'The Report'), Shia LaBeouf ('Honey Boy'), Robert De Niro ('The Irishman'), Tom Hanks ('A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood'), Jamie Foxx ('Just Mercy'), and Adam Sandler ('Uncut Gems') join Close Up with The Hollywood Reporter for this season's ...
I see, cool
I love watching these
But I couldn’t watch this one
Jamie foxx is too loud and stupid
LUL
Haha nah he is pretty chill in this one
Ugh, fuck Shia LaBeouf. XC
Whats wrong with Jamie and Shia, come on 😂
Jamie is overstepping and talks longer than anyone. He is also very loud and his opinions, his takes are very predictable sometimes. Almost everything i hear from Jamie, I’ve heard elsewhere.
At least Shia is humble.
He might not be able to articulate what he thinks right away. But he stays level grounded.
When watching these I try to gain some wisdom, new found knowledge. Jamie as far as I’m concerned brings very little to the table.
Chadwick Boseman ('The Black Panther'), Timothée Chalamet ('Beautiful Boy'), Viggo Mortensen ('Green Book'), Mahershala Ali ('Green Book'), Hugh Jackman ('The Front Runner'), and Richard E. Grant ('Can You Ever Forgive Me?') join Close Up with The Hollywood Reporter for the ...
I liked this one much more. I watched it right after the Jamie foxx one
Everyone at this table can hold their own, no piggybacking.
Gained a lot of respect for Mahershala Ali, Chadwick Boseman
Didn’t even know anything about Timothee Chalamet
But he is well spoken, his statements are sound and full of reason.
And he doesn’t overstep. He knows his place.
Also Viggo Mortensen is a gem
Pretty much
I will watch that one too
everyone always says Joker ripped off Taxi Driver and King of Comedy
but everyone forgets how it ripped off Her
I get it

first time, yeah
fuck
now that I realize Scarlet Johansson's voice is in this I have to go watch Marriage story, which I already wanted to watch because it had Adam Driver in it
just added a bunch of school project movies i've watched.
german, norwegian, swedish and danish
totally slipped my mind when i was compiling all the movies i've ever watched.
i have too many movies to watch also
Aha
I wouldnt have any idea how many movies Ive watched lol, too many
From your first list ive only seen the way back, real steel, and the phantom of the opera (which i barerly remember)
Second list, havnt seen tokyo godfathers, last black man in sf, the favorite, mother, marriage story, the farewell and.. “favorite movies”?
what's so different about the directors cut
If you like foreign and asian cinema, im begging you to check out wong kar wais work
@limpid meadow watch the last black man in San Francisco when you can
check out the only good movie of the last millennia
Phenomenal movie
treasure planet
@dim hedge you reckon those 5 movies in order?
ok i'll take your word for it. i'll re download Zodiac just to make sure i have the directors cut.
does it add to the experience?
ok i have the 2 hour 42 minute version
i should be fine.
@young compass yeah will do.
@fluid merlin "favorite movies" is just a folder with a bunch of my favorite movies.
Her was traumatizing
Troll hunter is cool
I don't understand what you mean at all Strag
in retrospective, I didn't have a chance to dislike this
I love Joaquin Pheonix and Scarjo
I love the premise
and the way it develops is exactly my kind of thing
yeah I don't think I am
maybe I just haven't hashed out all the common elements of the things I do like
which makes it look random
I mean, I also am fickle
it's obvious
but I don't think I can just choose to like and dislike shit
I don't buy it
keep in mind that I started watching movies like last year
Is this about us trashing mad max a while ago?
watching them with intent, at least
Nah me and roro i remember
well, it's pretty clear that I'm not crazy / stupid
something like my taste in manga I have a good handle on
because I've read more and I know more about what I like
I'm working on figuring that out for movies too
that I'm acting crazy
or that I'm inconsistent or unpredictable or whatever it is
that doesn't make any sense when it comes to manga though
I know what I like and what I don't like
I've had some of my opinions change
but only a couple drastically
that was extraneous circumstances
partially
maybe majorly
besides, I had a lot of the same problems the first time around
so it shouldn't have been a surprise that that parts I didn't like were more of a problem
how am I supposed to not react to things with knee jerks
that's all you need for a lot of things
or a lot of elements of things
shots like this, from Interstellar, the point of it is instantly clear and I instantly know what I like about it https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/610675886479638528/669028280980078612/unknown.png
(it's out of context)
dunno if you remember this part anyway
I don't think that's a bad thing
what is that even supposed to mean
besides the obvious
as opposed to what
how is it not obvious what I'm missing or not doing from being around other people constantly who supposedly don't think about shit the way I do
how would I not have picked up on it by now
I'm confused
this is about spiderverse isn't it
ok, if I like things or not based on my mood, in what universe would it be possible for me to dislike Her
given everything you know about what I like
I don't believe you think it's possible that I could not like that movie
that's not an answer
ok, how
could you be any more vague
what, maybe if I suddenly stopped liking how their voices sound
instead of thinking everything they say sounds perfect
and it starts grating on me
that's a meme tier hypothetical how would something like that even happen
I've explained haikyuu a thousand times
my first readthrough I explained everything about it that didn't work
how I was never able to get attached to most of the characters and that I stopped caring after a certain point
I remember that being the case
that's why I put it on hold in the first place
I remember Red being disappointed that I wasn't engaging with it on the same level he was
it was always very clear exactly how much I cared about which parts of haikyuu
I was surprised to what extent I hated it on my second read, but I shouldn't have been
not if I was taking everything into consideration
I used to like the art more
the art in the beginning of the series was still unique and interesting compared to everything I had read to that point
going back to the beginning, I compared all of it to the parts I liked the most
it was impossible for it to click with me
I should have seen it coming but my first time around I didn't see the change in artstyle everyone else was aware of
because I liked all of it when I first went through
Sounds almost like everyone on the planets thoughts on bnha
now reading haikyuu is just feels like being stomped on over and over again
but my taste has evolved since then
and I feel better about what I read and shit since I dropped Haikyuu
I'm more confident that the stuff I like is actually good and I'm not just throwing darts at a wall
what, do I need to write down everything I liked about Her so I can refer to it later on
that didn't work with Haikyuu but my perspective has changed since then
looking back at what I've written on Haikyuu a long time ago is awful
but I'm completely sure about everything I wrote more recently
so I'm sure that what I believe is actually what's going on
I mean
I'm walling and talking too much because I feel threatened I guess
I don't like that you think it's possible some movie that I really like I don't actually care about
long term or whatever
I know how this goes
this is what makes me afraid to talk about anything that I like
but I don't feel like it matters as much if I don't say anything
Straggler, havent you ever changed your opinion about something over time as your tastes grew?
and I didn't even really say anything about Her
I didn't pause it at all besides a couple times because I was so caught up in it
and it didn't seem like it would be very interesting to other people to listen to me talk about it
didn't even post anything about it in my other server, I just watched it
I don't know what you think of this movie, if you like it or hate it or haven't even seen it
I'm just confused as to why you would say what you did
it seems like all I hear from you and red is that same line over and over again
maybe Doom too and I'm forgetting
I don't see the point
I don't feel like talking about this anymore
it isn't going anywhere
I'm just going to say something stupid otherwise
Yall need couples therapy
Anyway speaking of award winning movies i just saw snowpiercer and yes it was a trip
I laughed a lot more than expected
Was it a comedy?
Yeah
Yeah
Yeah
Wanted to watch Ameilie but no subtitles on the site i use
What site u use?
what site u want?
lots of internet players have the option to choose your own subtitle file so just download one from somewhere else
the first one is on the house ❗
Fmovies
Before I start my heavy 5 movie streak —- I watched: Little Miss Sunshine & The Pursuit of Happyness.
I have a bad habit of going into movies completely blind. This movie took me by surprise to say the least
Did not expect to laugh so much .
Also surprisingly dark in tone
I loved the entire cast , they did a great job making this movie feel alive, real
Standout performances; Steve Carell
And Alan Arkin
Don’t really know what to say. The real life story of Christopher Gardner aka the worlds punching bag
At least in this movie.
Will Smith was believable and did a great job with this role
Couldn’t really relate and I’m fortunate for that. Never take anything for granted.
if i had to rate them both, i'd probably give Little Miss Sunshine a 8/10, very enjoyable experiance.
and The Pursuite of Happyness a 6,5/ 10
glad i watched them, gained something from both of them.
---- time for marrige story and tomorrow i'll start with the WOLF of wallstreet.
currently downloading, Butch Cassidy And The Sundance Kid.
amazing title, have been looking forward to watching this movie for a long time. but it will have to come later.
Actually ... I just cropped them
So they don’t take up too much room in the feed .
apart from the Butch Cassidy poster, they are all cropped. .
looks dope
Nothing specific came up for horizoznal posters besides sales of them
but i saw a list of 50 cool posters and some of them are pretty nice looking
never realized Pulp fictions cover is a pulp fiction and it looks so much better now that i do
just finished Marrige Story ... and wow.
that was powerful
and realistic.
Adam Driver with his best performance yet. by far.
at 1 particular scene i shed tears. not afraid to admit it xd.
good movie, wonderful acting. and realistic. I can imagine this being something similar to what my mom and dad went through.
i'd have to bump Little miss sunshine down to a 7/10 and give Marrige Story a 8/10. it's the superior movie and should not have the same rankings.
i really enjoyed the acting done by Ray Liotta
... yes the mc in goodfellas. (dir. Martin Scorsesse)
great fucking movie also, classic. i encourage anyone who hasn't watched it, to watch it.
gained a newfound appreciation for the movie through a second watch
Ray liotta is in marriage story? Huh
Ive been holding myself off from watching it
I got no problem with extreme violence, sex or horror movies
Ut realistic dramatic movies about love? Ugghhhh nothing can make me feel worse when watching it
X men origins wolverine
Like, at all?

Bad boy for life was a nice nostalgic well done action/comedy actually
Definitly the beat movie in the series
I use a list I saw in the Reddit @minor iris idk if it’s the same but it’s basically the official one but a bit different
https://www.reddit.com/r/MovieDetails/comments/esvnwp/in_lotr_the_fellowship_of_the_ring_2001_after/ I wanna rewatch LOTR again
and i also want to rewatch lotr
I want to rewatch the extended versions
lotr trilogy>>>>>hobbit
Rewatch the extended versions then!
Hobbits are alright, but nowhere close to lotr level
For me, theyre not even in the same universe, thats my headcanon
HEre are some of my favorite Sci-Fi movies of all time.
i have yet to see 2001 A Space Odyssey
what are some of your favorite Sci-Fi movies?
suprised you like avatar
Most people don't remember shit from it it seems, including me
I remember it was a crippled guy becoming an allien
falls in love with cool alien chick, decides to not slaughter them all because of this, fights off the military
in Harry potter
why didn't anyone use the Time Turner for like
saving Dumbledore or something
why didn't Dumbledore use it at all
like think about it
if I were him, I'd just give it to an elf
have the little dude go back and warn him when shit gets crazy
save him from SO many things
keep him alive longer
fucking
UGH
THERE IS NO REASON NOT TO
it was dethroned ye lol
He was literally the most privileged wizard in all of the franchise
like more people listened to him than teh fucking Minister For Magic
also, Harry Potter has a ton of inexplicable stuff
I gave up trying to understand lol
hmm
like oh shit Dumbledore's going through tiem
no i think this was explained
He must be saving us all from some horrific shit
but I don't mean like changing past events in huge ways
but like going back ten seconds to warn himself of a trap or something
but i really hate the notion of turning past events
of major things in series now
(if its plausible)
like him using it that way is more reasonable than Hermione using it for studying
wtf
ima be honest, i wasnt a big fan of endgame doing it either
yeh these kinds of things pop up from it
if ur a 10+ year running series
with 30+ movies
changing events isnt an easy thing
but yea time turner was explained
or at least jk rowling came up with a hack reason
It was just like it was super restricted and only went back a certain amount of time or something
and looking at yourself drove you insane or some such
@crimson lance Aliens, is literally just a movie about investigating a family of colonists, fighting off the aliens while rescuing a little girl. Now, why is Aliens so highly regarded exactly? seems pretty basic. Sci-Fi flicks don't necessarily have to be deep or thought-provoking. it's more about the world and the experience. Seeing something you haven't seen before etc..
the world of Avatar is fantastic.
it not like they are in order or something.
it's just pocahontas
it really doesn't need to be more.
im not shitting on avatar
im saying, its been known more recenetly as the forgettable movie that everyone saw
the lion king is based on Hamlet, i wouldn't knock it for that
that meme picture can be done to a large amount of movies. it's really not like a "HA ! gotcha moment"
it's funny tho, i'll give it that.
I actually just wanted to know some of this server's favorite sci-fi movies. Cus I've been on a sci-fi binge/really interested in them as of recent.
who knows. might get introduced to something i haven't seen before, and end up really liking it.
have you seen solaris?
no : O
that's a really good one
i'll put it on the list.
looper?
Is that the one where they have to reignite the sun?
yeah thats a good one juba, i should rewatch that one.
no bean
thinking about watching, close encounters of the third kind
I think that's called sunshine
solaris is an older film
close encounters of the third kind is cool
classic.
Most sci-fi movies i saw were marvel sadly
I really need to watch more movies, i got a list of movies i want to see and have actual interest in but im incredibly stupid and get bored after the first few minutes
"The Martian" director Ridley Scott counts down his favorite sci-fi films of all time.

this channel is fantastic if you want to get into movies
they actually know what they are talking about.
@runic dirge you should consider consuming some of their content in your spare time.
no
yes
too long?
there is no such thing as a youtube video that is too long for me
what about a movie
so there is such a thing?
I don't know what the longest one I've seen is
it's probably possible for a movie to be too long, though
definitely is
i been heard about a hella long movie
hey, the movie, Her is on the list roro.
what list
now i need to watch it.
that video you linked?
top 10 sci-fi films of all time list, the video.
weird take but not really wrong
Her uses the sci-fi setting as a setting for the story to exist but it isn't what makes it good
it's a romance movie
well, the sci-fi elements are amazing but it's not the driving force, which is why it seems weird to put it in a list of greatest scifi
but who am I to complain it's good movie
I listened to redlettermedia and yourmoviesucks talk about Her so I don't need any more content about it
the genre sci-fi is very broad. --- ok, i'll post the transcript later.
What’s that
a youtube channel
@runic dirge - In an increasing fascinating artificial intelligence genre that is taking more and more complex and realistic looks at what thinking, and learning, and self-improving machines might unleash upon our world and society. "Her" is brave enough to almost entirely ignore those questions in favor of what it might unleash upon our emotions. "Her" explores our fragile human limitations not in intelligence, but in co-dependany, and attachment, and emotional need. It is a deeply human look at what the future might hold and what innate features of ourselves might hold us back. Not just our inability to calculate PI to the billionth decimal, but in fact, those very inner fragilities that make us human.
I’ve come to realize
Sitcoms are very hit or miss
Most of them suck ass
A few suck ass but are entertaining
And an insanely small amount are good
you're welcome.
@crimson lance isn't this that 1 scene in homunculus ??
he is about to drill his head, badly timed screenshot.
That looks like a very popular scene from a very popular French movie
Pi 1998
thirty-one days remain until the release of better call saul s5e1
we have officially activated party mode, which will last one month
how are we going to be celebrating this month, roro?
by doing absolutely nothing
because the episode isn't out yet
so there's nothing to do but sit patiently
but we can still party right?
partying is all about the mindset, so yes
2012
Tarantino?
I guess it was easier than I thought
lol
guess who this is
Adam Driver
he killed that performance
yes he did
Roro watch 3 Billboards outside Ebbing Missouri
is that the movie that turns Harriet tubman into a action movie star
that's the harriet tubman movie
Is harriet not the harriet tubman movie
Just watched Butch Cassidy and the Sundance kid. Trying to watch True Grit 2010, but I have absolutely no fucking idea what they are saying.
Billy the kid
What has that to do with anything?
you said butch and the kid
Did you just name the first outlaw you could think of from that time period?
so he said that
They are not the same person, not even close
Ok, just got some subtitles from Yify .
Reliable place.
this is where i get my movies.
RARBG - Torrents , movies , download , music , games , free , RARBG Rarbg Index page
you'll run into a lot of pop ups. but everything is free. torrent based.
they have pretty much everything. You just have to spell it correctly.
thanks for the tip.
Just watched True Grit , fantastic movie. Subtitles are definitely needed.
It’s like they created their own language, and at times extremely funny
Need to consume some more movies from the Coen Brothers.
Now is a good time to start that 5 movie list.
Barton Fink, Raising Arizona and Millers Crossing soon to be consumed.
..
also .. is this a passage from the bible?
or did they really just quote Coolio's gangsta paradise in a western?

What’s the western movie called tombstone something that’s supposedly good
Duly noted
Nice
Its the one with nicolas cage right?
I will rewatch it if it ever gets to any streaming service
Here you go Rai
Thats like the one bible verse i 90% remember

My brother seriously just asked me if Her 2013 was a live adaptation of Mario ..
I should strangle him
He was half kidding he says but I’m not so sure he was
her
shreedher
You should look into Spike Jonze’s other movies roro
He has some pretty wild original ideas, very interesting
I should
was considering rewatching Whiplash (2014) later tonight but #manga keeps on being interesting
Being John Malkovich (1999) and Adaptation (2002) crazy, unique movies.
Also, Where The Wild Things Are used to be one of my favorite childhood movies.
Don’t know if it still holds up tho
Looking back at it, it might be a little too dark for children.
what y'all been peepin recently
you
I caught up to True Detective S3 recently
glad they went back to form and S1 style
was a pretty good season
I just remembered this movie Wanted how they curve bullets
Whiplash is reaaaally good
Whiplash one of my fave movies
Clearly its eminem and the movie is mile 8
Yeah whiplash is also one of my favorite movies
Watched it twice
Infinity quotable
“Are you rushing?!??! Or are you dragging?!???
Lol, how could oda “grow up on” 8 mile?
Because people never stop growing
Man, the original IW comic is way better
Movies are good but just... man they really shoulda just went with how the comic did it
makes way more sense too
they couldn’t do it the exact way the comic did cause of certain rights for characters
Just read what he did to Nebula trying to impress Death...
and I like that they show the actual skeletal death version of her and the hot version
Funny seeing Thanos try so hard
I got Gauntlet and the War here, from my library
Death has been grooming thanos since he was a child
Eternals May have thanos in the movie though
Cause thanos is a enternal
and he’s the reason they went extinct
but they could change it
for the movie
Eternals looks very interesting, I like the celestials and the concept of them building and rebuilding across the universe
It really gives uh.. not even world building at this point. Universe building, and it would makes sense beings with powers would come to exist because of em
I read through this issue of Eternals and yeah, they are different but kinda cool how they are nearly immortal still
To Slay A god showed a really painful death of one, and I don't know if that's what it takes to kill one, but whew
theirs a whole comic about thanos childhood and growing up
That was brutal, and the person portraying this character in the upcoming movie, is a black woman for some reason
Are u referring to thanos
But ye the oringsl infinity comic your reading right now can’t compare to what marvel is now
a lot of stuff got retconned
And they changed a lot thru multiple reboots
like now theirs infinite number of infinity stones
And they each only work in their respective universe
ye ok I understand what u where tryna say now I thought u where referring to thanos and got confused
Also check out thanos wins if u want another good thanos comic and infinity
A movie with no music
Yea
@cold dock theirs a rumor going around that George wants back in
Sound tracks not to important to me
Especially if im watching at home
Altough i love hearing good songs that i wouldnt of found if i didnt watch the movie
love that greek song during the hunt in the lobster
Greek
People actually like gone girl?
I mean i thoroughly enjoyed the movie up until they went mainstream, and started playing ||house of cards on national television etc ||
I found it ridiculous at that point, I was laughing . So messy
So many holes and all the people are complete morons
The detectives especially
And she is unbelievably lucky
When she || killed desi and moved back in with Nick || I almost dropped the movie. I should have
Lobster feels so long
Im enjoying it but every time i check the time it feels like its still 1 hour
I think one of my favorite things about this movie is how its presented, I liked ||When he and the cruel woman chased each other, Everything early on when they're going between his days, like the Hand toaster thing how they switched backed and forth|| Also liked the ||The world they built, but i wish there was more answers to my questions. And yes i know its meant to be like that but eh||
Oh and i finished the movie
gonna watch the farewell now
nvm gonna watch teh farewell tomorrow
it requires my full attention do to being in chinese sometimes
Ye marvel covers are nice
U have a physical copy your reading
?
@cold dock ye he could make it better and I heard rian Johnson trilogy got cancelled and isn’t happing anymore apprenlty
or that could be just a rumor cause I know he was set to begin it a few months after most recent film
Ye I just checked he’s still talking to Disney about making it
Nothing is set in stone yet
nice
@dense trail whis your fav character? If your really interested in thanos and wanna know his history check out infinity
if u wanna read major storylines like infinity war u should check out secret wars
Theirs 2 versions one from like the 80s and one that’s more recent
U should read the one from 2015 u will be more famailiar with those chars and it’s really good
Ye the first one
Theirs a good amount of issues with it
It’s not just one comic
@dense trail
Read thanos rising
For his origin
It’s pretty long and good
And u get inisight about the eternals and stuff
Also secret wars ties into another thanos story after it’s over
https://twitter.com/MToonster24/status/1221148957440651264 First glimpse of the Animaniacs reboot!
Ye, jiren - Rian was denied after the blunder...
Thank you we need animaniacs in the present day
Imagine them meeting james charles
Question is can they get away with the adult jokes in this day and age where everyone is so easily offended?
No ones actually as offended as people say
Social media doesnt represent reality in any way
I'm a bit disappointed that we're not getting a Tiny Toons reboot/revival this year considering it's the show's 30th anniversary.
aaaaaaaaand here we go
time to watch all the movies Joker supposedly ripped off because it's creatively bankrupt and isn't allowed to be good
but first, pizza
I heard its only a rip off of Taxi driver and The king of comedy
Domino's or Papa Johns
Theres a picture of roros room with several pizza boxes
and i think they were all white, which is papa johns as far as i know
only saw Taxi driver out of these
Tried watching king of comedy but old movies suck on streaming sites
I need a higher quality version on netflix or hulu or some shi
shit*
WTF?
I just stumbled upon the weirdest thing ever
Mildly disturbing
This must be a hobby or something
it's from a documentary, and it's all paint.
btw.
i have peaked.
Face off
what does "western series" mean? because from a different angle of the planet Asia is in the west
but there are anime produced in the "west" as well and live action in the "east" as well
Bro there's no need to overthink it
i searched google for information and one of the sources said "The word “east” is derived from the Sanskrit word “usās” meaning “dawn” or “morning.” From the perspective of Europe and Asia, this makes sense because the sun rises in the east."
Anything not anime goes here

🛑
When was the last time you've seen anyone talk about an Japanese TV series that isnt anime
Anyone want to talk about aibo? The Tokyo Detective Duo tv drama
^
Yeah that detective is so cool
My fav episode is the 8th one
You know when uh that detective does that thing
Shocking
Stop
The beloved Mortal Kombat video game franchise is getting the animated treatment with Mortal Kombat Legends: Scorpion’s Revenge, and IGN is exclusively debuting the first trailer for the Mortal Kombat animated movie. The synopsis for Scorpion’s Revenge reads: “Based on ...
jiren and youss should star in a comedic buddy cop movie, would be hilarious
Can be the reverse of Aibou
Instead of relying on their partner they do everything themselves and self destruct eventually
no idea why someone would compare Falling Down (1993) to Joker
but that movie is a trip
hilarious shit, too
tried to watch the King of Comedy but the audio was broken on my file and I didn't feel like redownloading it from somewhere else
so once I watch You Were Never There (2017) I'll finally be able to talk about Joker

I think grace has a lot of good points
Watching franches Ha
Half way through, im enjoying it but wondering why its in black and white
It doesnt seem to need it, so im thinking theres going to be a big realisation where it makes sense, but doesnt so far

Ended up liking the grey when she was smoking a cigaerette and it flashed on her face

what is crackle
sony crackle
Sony Crackle is a free streaming website
You could watch stuff like Spectacular Spider-Man for no charge
Just watched Her 2013. I can see this being someone’s favorite movie. A movie about human intimacy. Puts into words what people might not able to express.
I think I would have enjoyed it more if I was at that point in my life
I got the movie on a “intellectual” level. Nothing was difficult to understand — but I don’t think I got the movie emotionally.
I think I have to live that, and have been there to really connect with it.
yeah, don't know what I'd say the movie is about, really
besides the broad strokes
what it means to be human, self improvement, relationships
Yes. — I think I need more life experience to really, really get it. Still a very enjoyable watch
Definitely a movie I should revisit in the future
on a related note
You Were Never Really Here is fucking fantastic
I just can't not love a movie with Joaquin Phoenix in it apparently
I do love thrillers . Definitely going to watch it . Might watch it tomorrow and continue my Joaquin Phoenix binge
It has been on my radar for some time now
Heard a lot of great things about The Master
Also,- always wanted to watch it. Has one of my dads favorite actors
Philip Seymour Hoffman
Maybe favorite isn’t the right word but he definitely praised him a lot
Died too early ... smh
Already terrible..

Not that it matters at all- but did you know that joaquin’s wife/ex-wife in Her 2013 is actually his real life fiancée? (Rooney Mara) @runic dirge
Nope
Pretty weird
Remember that weird project phoenix was on when he trolled hollywood for years, walked around like a homeless and did rapping?
So many years lost of phoenix movies we could have gotten
I need to do a top movies, I’ll do it and y’all gonna say me what y’all think about it
