Solid choices all around
LF's?
Yeah his accent was criticized for changing multiple times throughout the show, especially early on
Aidan Gillen did a fantasic job as LF, nailed the character
Whoever was talking about that Michael Jackson documentary I'm pretty sure some of its claims got disproven
What claims?
some of the claims in the documentary
Attention/money most like
Truth is definitely in the middle
I am one of those who refused to believe that mj was a pedo but i tried to watched the documentary from an objective standpoint
Some shit are definitely questionable, others not so much
Documentaries are designed to make an argument right or wrong
I don't know the details though so whatever

Who dat
It's getting a movie and animated series
Was there any secret episode 7 of got lol
😦
Aladin 10/10 really?
I'm as surprised as you
This has to be one of the weirdest episodes of GOT so far
Poor Loras Tyrell on trial for being gay

Yeah iron fist was horrible
I forced myself to watch half the season thinking it was just a slow start
And even the acting was bad from the actor imo, maybe he wasn’t ready for the role cus hes not that bad in got
I think its just a miscast
Season 2 might be a little bit better
Beat character in the series was his childhood friend, the rich guy
Got s3 spoilz ||when they fucking cut off jamies right hand
||
|| i just really enjoy seeing those lannisters suffer lol||
Bully
Anyone else extremely hyped for the new tarantino movie?
Ye seems like the type of movie to take one of them to the oscars
Really? Tarantinos movies arent usually typical oscar material 😂
It is when u put brad pitt and leonardo dicaprio
He wouldn’t chose a shit movie
But tbh id argue that they are oscar material
At least some
Of course they wouldnt pick to be in a shit movie
But not being oscar material doesnt mean its a shit movie
Most of the best movies haven’t won an oscar
The whole oscar thing is too political imo, and most of the winners are movies that has been pushed since the beginning of develooment to win the oscar
But yeah, if any tarantino movie got a shot at winning best film its probably this one
I agree
He did win and got nominated a few times for best script/writer and director
just googled it
Yea its all about persuading and bribing the people on the committee that votes on the movies.
there's a reason the term Oscar-Bait exists
📠
Facts, to compare Goda to DD is some disrespectful shit
DD?
Dan and David
Guys behind got show
Oh.
Mustn't...click on...spoiler...!
Cringe begins at 35 seconds. After the screening of Quentin Tarantino's new film at Festival de Cannes the cameraman walked right up to the cast of 'Once Upo...
@fluid merlin
Nice
Wtf is the cameraman doing and why tf are they clapping for 10 minutes straight
Happy to see a number of the actors and actresses were as disappointed with the final season as we are
@sonic quail that is funny as fuck
Lol
I can understand how ||Conleth Hill|| would be pissed about how lackluster of a send off ||Varys|| had but come on, if anything what D&D did was a mercy killing for a character they completely stripped of all personality and relegated to being a generic good guy
|| Vary's death cinematic wise was fucking amazing ||
Should've gotten to see it then, panning to everyone's reactions instead of actually seeing it was stupid
@regal root so what's the deal with s5
I didn't notice anything really glaringly wrong with it
Dorne storyline mainly
I didn't think there was any problem with it
were people just mad that she was mistreated?
Yeah
I understand that but I don't see how that sticks out from the rest of the show
if I liked sansa at all I'd be more sympathetic but she's so boring
Well it's just at the end of S4 it seemed like she was gonna be sneaky and play the game and then she ups and gets turned right back to punching bag Sansa
💤
what was it again
You watched all of S5 right?
I don't really remember episode to episode things, it's all a big blur
I finished s5 yes
For the Watch
ah yes, very good
They were so tight lipped about it for an entire year, was good marketing on their part to drum up anticipation for S6
Also how did you like Hardhome?
cool I guess
Man you are difficult to impress

Are there any live action tv shows that do
I remember not liking that one
Twas a very good fight, also didn't happen at all in the books but a good fight none the less
Yeah Faceless Men are pretty interesting
I didn't like that either
Yup, very gray world filled with mostly gray characters
people doing people stuff
Brienne is the good guy
might as well start s6 before I go to bed
or girl
I've got a couple hours
Tell me when you're down with S6, I got a tribute video to a GoT character that I'd be interested in getting your opinion on
will do
Brienne is indeed a whamen Payz
prove it
There are a lot of good got youtubers
Though they just read fan theories or passages from the extra books
I find them engaging
Also one thing I don't get
I see lots of the show watchers discussing Roberts rebellion like they know about it in detail
But if I'm not mistaken that was barely ever discussed in the show
Where did they learn about it
I love the Roberts rebellion backstory and I'm bummed it won't be made into a prequel. It's structured almost like an action movie.
They learned about it from the books or the short video summary that was made back for Season 1
Also I agree, despite the fact we know all the juicy details about it I would love to see a RR movie, especially just to see Robert vs Rhaegar at the Trident
Did you hear about this new show that sort of feels like Ghost Whisper?
Currently in the middle of the first Orange is the New Black Episode
please tell me this woman doesnt leave her fiance for a woman in prison. I swear to god if this woman leaves him I'm gonna drop this show
I mean, i dont know but that's like a stereotypical storyline I expect to happen
A man proposed to her knowing she'd going to jail for 15 months, and she's going to jail because she was the lesbian partner of a leader of a drug ring
Adam lmao
What do u think
But the mc is like the least liked person and defo not even the best part
Its the other chicks
Dont do this to Larry
Were u rooting for larry?
||cuz him leaving her is a good thing i mean she sucks dude||
i mean who knows, maybe larry cheats on her later
but for right now
larry is the boy
ive recognized 2 actors so far from SVU
he's probably going to end up being one of my favorite characters by the end
which I wouldn't have expected
disgusting
literally die
no
you
game of thrones is for only the most denegerate of denegerates
filth of filths
indeed!
I wonder who my favorite character is at this point honestly
I couldn't say
I'd have to have them all in a line up or something
what season are you on
drop it
buffoon of buffoons
Yeah that was a fantastic episode
probably yes
Jaime is honestly one of the better gray characters of our time
Jaime was probably my favorite from the books
I thought you didn't read the books?
My favorite was probably Tyrion pre-fleeing Kings Landing
and then it switched to Jaime
I remember Theon's story being more intense in the books
maybe just cos I was younger
and it was more descriptive/shocking
You're right, it is more intense in the books
I find the violence more intense in the show
Maybe because I'm seeing it
Also the sound effects
the show is very tame
Dude has broken teeth and more missing fingers/toes, also he's been so terrified from his torture that his hair turned white
He is literally in pain every moment
Ice and Fire manga would be lit as hell
Well yeah cause they went tame as shit
gross
Understandable because you can't put Jon or Dany's sex scenes in, they're like 14 and 13 at the beginning
Ew.
But there is no excuse for leaving out torture scenes (as grotesque as they are)
I agree
Cause Theon is like 19, so you have no excuse for not putting them in other than you being a pussy
for all the hype surrounding it GOT is far more very chill and tame compared to what I had imagined
I mean it's graphic but it's nowhere near as graphic as it could be
the most out there thing might be oberyn's death
it was good
What about the red wedding

Just blind slaughter, nothing new
Stabbing a pregnant woman in the stomach
That didn't happen in the books btw, that girl doesn't even exist
but I did like how casually they killed catelyn at the end
hm
I liked arya killing Ser Meryn
👍
Interesting fun fact, the woman who played Talisa is Charlie Chaplin's granddaughter
Also yeah Trant's death was well deserved and brutal, not sure about making him a pedo, he was already enough of a dick for killing Syrio and beating Sansa
cool guy, kind of annoying
I am biased against dorne unfortunately
one of the girls reminds me of someone I hate from another movie
oh right Pirates of the Caribbean
Dorne died for me with Oberyn, Sand Snakes and Ellaria were annoying as shit in Season 5
stabs buc in back of head with spear to dab on patriarchy
Oof
Ugh
bruh moment
all of GOT is just a series of one bruh moment after another
the memes have ruined my mind and binging the show has made its formula abhorrent to me
so listening to conversations where it's nothing but smart people intellectually dabbing on each other predictably is
I miss the dialogue from Seasons 1-4, at least back then peeps had personality
"I can offer you three new gimmicks to make your show more interesting by the end of this season"
"You'll give me four by the end of next episode or I will have your entire family's heads mounted on a spike"
bruh moment
Did you notice the drop off with Tyrion where he went from clever little shit to "Lul, you don't have a cock"?
I might have missed it
tyrion's hard for me to like because I know he's such a loved character and I'm a filthy hipster deep down somewhere
similar situation with Jon
he's good, tho
I just can't always escape memes
I liked his conversation with the dragons
Did you enjoy seeing Olly die as much as the rest of the fanbase did?
was he a hated character?
I'd say more so annoying than hated but yeah
Same
he saved Jon from ygritte and worked the elevator
He also doesn't exist in the books
not like Jon would have lived if he hadn't stabbed him that last time
I think
he mostly slips below my radar
angry child
does the got fandom generally have good memes or bad memes
I've never been a big fan of her and after what I've heard from s8

I wish she would go away
or at least join everyone else on the same continent
In regards to her in S8 it was just a massive twist that was not given anywhere near the necessary amount of build up.
Hence why it's gotten blow back from the vast majority of the fan base, and obviously the actress herself is disappointed as well because of it leaving a bad taste in fans mouths
Damn. 😦
Hence why D&D will now forever be known as Dumb & Dumber
getting the news that your character is getting killed off must be one of the weirdest feelings out there
Because they were given the option to have a proper amount of episodes to flesh out a proper story line and said "Nah fam, we good"
Dudes clearly wanted to get GoT done with to jump to Disney and do Star Wars shit, as if that franchise hasn't suffered enough already
very sad day for got fans
Very sad indeed
sad days for me coming up I suppose
I don't think you'll be bothered as much, not to make any assumptions but you don;t seem overly impressed with the show to this point but with how critical you tend to be when reviewing things I imagine once you're done you'll tear into them properly
I don't know really
big show, lots of people and politics, lots of which can easily go over my head
I'm no Mauler
but I guess I'll see
but not today, I need to sleep
👋
catch you all tomorrow 💤
Take it easy 👋
They released a script reading with the cast and so many of them were looking so upset or confused
Finally got around to watching Us
Damn, what a good thriller horror movie. Jordan Peele didn't disappoint in his follow up
That evil superman movie is good? A lot of mixed reviews
i havent watched it . but i doubt it will be good
i mean they gave us everything in the trailer
which wasnt all that interesting , at least to me
thats coming from someone who watches horror at breakfast
Yeah it did feel like the typical repetitive hollywood techniques to “scare” the audience with jumpscares and shit instead of an actual intriguing plotline
The concept was interesting tho and thought it had potential
IT 2 trailer on the other hand was the opposite, pretty creative scene for a horror movie from what weve seen
ya i liked the concept as well
Anyone seen The Inbetween? I feel like it's similar to The Ghost Whisper.
@tribal tundra im rewatching kill bill movies because of our tarantino talk yesterday 😂
whats up with the theories about venom appearing in spider man far from home , did they leak something or what
There are rumors about Sony wanting that iirc
And not Far from Home
The 3rd Spiderman movie
Was about to say, I don't think Marvel has the rights to Venom yet, as well as X-Men and the F4
Or at least not the film rights
They have the x-men and f4 already
Venom is with sony, and they would need to reach an agreement similar with spiderman to use him, which seems unlikely considering the high box office of the venom movie
Ah
Yeah
Although xmen already got tons of movies, i think marvel would still make it even better
Good
I don't have any ill will towards Sophie Turner but I just don't find her to be a good actress, terrible Jean Gray imo
You know who would've been a perfect Gambit back in the day? Brad Pitt
I thought he creole accent was pretty convincing in Meet Joe Black, add that on top of his looks and he would've been a great Gambit back in the day
And not the rock or any other actor who has more of a celebrity status
ya just the trailer , honestly not a fan
man we need a world buster hulk movie
need a teaser(thor ragnorak)
@regal root I thought Keanu Reeves would've been a great Gambit.
Hmm, not sure how I feel about that
That's okay.
Also, why couldn't they get someone else to play Jean instead of Sophie Turner?
Why should they
Isn't there anyone who can play Jean Grey better?
It's more about popularity
Oh. 😐
so aside from how horribly Hodor's death was botched in the show
how exactly does his whole situation work?
What was bad about it
not powerful enough
the way it cut to credits was really shit
it could have been a really great scene but they just left it hanging
so was Hodor's mind broken in the past because of what he did in the future?
yes its a loop
not stated
he couldn't have done what he did in the present without everything that happened in his past to get there
kind of fucky
but it makes for a cool-ish scene
thats like the coolest scene in the series , at least according to the fans
so dont expect any better
I believe the loop was started by Bran unintentionally connecting with Hodor in the past to connect with him in the future
I thought it was a good, sad death for one of the few innocent characters in the show
Also the only piece of the Winds of Winter we have outright confirmation for from GRRM himself via D&D, or at least they said in the post episode recap that George told them Hodor stood for Hold the Door, which to me sounds like an 100% lock that some variation of what happened to Bran in Season 6 will happen to him in Winds and that Hodor will die protecting him
So you know those reaction channels on YT? There is this bar in Chicago that aired GoT every week and for the 2nd to last episode they actually got the guy who played young Hodor to fly out and watch it with them
noted
I finished GoT a while ago, is that ass slapping an open invitation?
@runic dirge oh yeah you'll ofc tell me how you liked it later, but only after you finished it.
I like it well enough now
Jaime's turn from generic bad guy into memorable gray character was really well done imo
yeah almost made forget about what he has done
Jaimes actor really makes me forhrt he isnt jaime
Trying to kill a kid who caught you and your sis doing the dew, attacking a group of men who had nothing to do with your brother getting captured because you were pissed which result in all but one of them dying with the survivor being partially crippled, breaking a sacred vow to protect your king by murdering him, and at least in the show killing your cousin vs saving 1 million people from getting burned alive because of said king's plan of taking out the entire city as he went down, saving a woman from getting raped (which resulted in him getting maimed) and later saving her again from getting eaten by a bear, and providing said woman with armor, a weapon, and a squire in order for her to fulfill a vow to find and protect the children of a former enemy.
He's a hell of a character
Spoilr tags man roro and some others might see that
Roro is in S6, he knows all this
Oh i thought he was on s3
He's speeding through it
Man i started rewatching it and then i got my laptop taken away so now i feel lost
I'm paraphrasing a bit here but he said something on the lines that he thought GoT had poor choreography 😔
Pretty false
Especially with jon jaime briene
They get good fights and show off great skills
He did say he liked Brienne vs the Hound the most
As the most thats fair
So his taste isn't that bad, just has no problem giving them spicy hot takes
The hound while cool is just a big man his fights are too technique based
Battle of bastards was dope af
Especially the suffocation scene, it felt like you were participating in the war
Im glad brienne isnt just femalw hound but an actual master swordfighter
Good sense of realism
spicy hot memes are the only thing I have left in this world
and if we could avoid he/him please
I got memed hard with the Hound
he wasn't brought back from the dead like I thought I'd heard, he just didn't die
must have gotten him mixed up with the Mountain
He was never confirmed dead in the books, there is an active fan theory that he is ||the grave digger Brienne saw in A Feast for Crows|| but you know how reliable those are
Also allegedly the Mountain is dead in the books but that seems to be a cover up for him being ||Ser Robert Strong||
Good? Bad?
Cause I quite enjoyed the weird relationship Jaime and Brienne had formed for most of the series
She was the biggest part (imo) of making Jaime likeable in the first place, feel like she's a great foil for him
Biggest part
Okay the only part, but still
hella
Shireen 😔
When the dude who was more of a dad to you then your own dad finds out you got cooked
oh Roro decided to watch GOT
game of throrones
game of disappointment
bruh moment
How the hell does 94% of the audience love the Aladdin remake? -->https://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/aladdin
I have yet to see it, was it bad?
will smith must have taken up his hammer and anvil and will smithed up a work of art.
maybe it was better than expected
Critics hated it, but the audience loved it, @dim hedge.
critics set insanely high standards a lot of the time
I don't care if people love it, I refuse to watch it.
I won't stop you.
I'd consider seeing it if I liked Aladdin and if I liked will smith
unfortunately I'm swinging a miss on both of those
it's rewind time.
hey come on man, who doesn't like the fresh prince of bel air?
Yahh.
I love the Fresh Prince, but I don't love the remake of Aladdin.
I am only invested in the Lion King remake
I'm not watching that, either.
I see, well that is your decision to make. I just want to see what they did to a part of my childhood
Again, I won't stop you.
😃
^^
little did you know that these doors lock on both sides
and I have thrown away keys to both
So I am never escaping?!?!
we shall live out the rest of our days with nothing but our own miserable company
unless one of us manages to kill the other
but they've left us nothing but an empty popcorn tin and a jar of shoe wax
I've won against worse odds.
😭
I am suppose to stare at a jar of shoe wax for the rest of my days, this is heart breaking
Wow. 😐
Roro get back to watching GoT this instant young man
ok bro
Good man, have a cookie https://i.pinimg.com/originals/79/1c/98/791c98fb3ef8491e157465c905d7345f.jpg
that's what I get for posting one reaction to one scene
I get dragged down into conversations strung out over three different channels lasting almost an hour
bruh moment
You're just near the end of the season and it's about to get hype
And I'd be interested in seeing your reaction
arya actually doing something for once was pretty hyped
I suppose Jon and Ramsay are going to fight it out
You'd be surprised
ali g another legend
ok.
what the fuck did I just watch
this entire episode is legendary
blows the rest of the show completely out of the water
the long cut in the beginning of the battle with everything raging around Jon
the huddle
Jon destroying Ramsay
Ramsay in his cell
I didn't want to blink through the last few segments
I'd recommend the entire show for this episode alone
Season 6 was an amazing season especially with it being the 1st season to not have book material to fall onto
I know I'm not at the end of the season yet, but
@dim hedge @regal root
pre-emptive ass slapping

I can't keep my hands to myself after watching this episode
That is legit one of the greatest TV episodes of any genre ever made
9
S6E9 was amazing for both battle and story telling, S6E10 was amazing story telling
Yeah him in the chaos killing fools
1 shot
Simply amazing
Also that shot at the beginning when he was standing down the stampede was legit
and then everything falls apart
the guy who directed battle of the bastards also directed long night and bells right
I'm going to be thinking about this episode for a while
oh hardhome was great
and I really can't imagine anything topping this now
fucking Ramsay
officially one of my favorite characters in the show
It was a masterclass in cinema, from the acting to the directing to the choreography to the music. Battle of the Bastards is a legitimate 10/10
7 and 8 had great moments, but yeah it all goes down hill after the end of S6
I was kidding, he has to watch season 7 and 8 now
this episode is everything I expected GOT to be and more
too far in
Obviously, he's not gonna have a complete criticism of the show if he stopped now
pronouns please
sorry
Excuse me, they
might as well go watch e10
I loved Ramin's work for the entire series, he is a genius
deadass, it was one of the few highlights in season 8.
Like I'm not trying to polish his knob too hard but he legit is one of the best composers in all of entertainment today

|| The night king was pretty good but it didn't top light of the seven IMO ||
I really didn't like the ||NK's|| theme that much tbh, just expected something more sinister sounding
a shame that this was one of the only good things about the ending ||https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HppOkD89ntQ|| 😭

but this version was far better obviously
That was the one that played at the end of the episode right?
I don't think they played this
in the season
It was played at Joffery's wedding
iirc
The song was but not this version, that version was played by Sigur Ros
yeah
Who actually played it during episode and during the credits
numerous characters sang it throughout the show
the instrumental was mixed in with the Lannister theme during || Jamie and Cersei's death ||
@dim hedge @regal root
I feel disgusting after watching that
it's fucking gorgeous
Those are by consensus the 2 best episodes in all of GoT, at least as far as I can remember they're the only full 10/10 episodes in the series
That hasn't happened in the books by that is just in GRRM's wheelhouse to have Cersei use the forgotten caches of whitefire left behind by the Mad King to wipe out the Faith Militant and Margaery in 1 fell swoop

WARNING: SPOILERS SEASON 6 EPISODE 10. WATCH IN 1080p. As I have promised :) I hope you enjoy, guys! _______________________________________ If you want to h...
It was cut really well
I'll watch it tomorrow
and just let the last two episodes mull for a while
but noted
Good decision
Not to take any wind out of your sails but it all goes down from there for the most part
I wish e10 had ended with all the trial scenes
and frontloaded all the fluff
overall 9 is better but the trial
yikes.
So going out with Cersei killing them all instead of Dany finally heading to Westeros with her forces? Interesting call
maybe end with Tommen's suicide
have the aftermath of that start off the next season
and just drop out to credits
have cersei's coronation kickstart s7
"This is Ser Gregor, he's quiet too" Cersei is a bad bitch
chilling
and in all this I never got around to how fun Gregor was this season
big cutie
How did you like the reveal of Jon's parentage?
well, I knew who he is going in
not that they've said it yet
so some of the magic was lost on me but it still caught me by surprise
How did you like Kingindanorf 2.0?
serviceable
Lyanna Mormont won over a lot of fans with her ripping into the various lords of the North
grumpy Jon, annoying child, and lots of old men I don't know the names or faces or houses of
bit of a bruh moment, if I may be so daring
and yet another season ending with a Dany scene
which always leaves a sour taste in my mouth
Trial perfect, e10 big snoozefest
and BoB 10/10
Least that one was actually good, fucking full court press with her combined forces and 3 full grown dragons
I can't take her seriously when she's standing at attention that far away from land
Did you like Tyrion being named her Hand?
I really liked that
I thought he was going to cry for just a second and I was really excited
He was a really proud boi
it's really cool to see how far Tyrion has come away from it all and how much his worldview has shifted
unfortunately I've heard he becomes a useless stupid cunt in the last two seasons
Sadly

Its your fault roro
nah
Im blaming u
D&D just had no clue how to write him after that, I saw the fall beginning in S5 and continuing in S6, then it came to roost in S7
I think I'll probably just watch Jon beat the universe out of Ramsay again when I finish s8
Good idea, it's very satisfying
Tyrion had a lot of
scenes in s6
Quite
Tell me a joke
s6 tyrion
let's play a game!
whoever can name a good tryion s6 scene wins
big meme small man
Being named Hand
I know, is meme
Ah
But can you see the difference a bit more in his character from S1-S4 in comparison to S5-S6 now?
In terms of quality
Exactly
that was window dressing to his brain and wit
just tell me right now, does Jorah have a satisfying end to his story
It's in S8
He does has a decently gross scene coming in S7
Though considering how gruesome parts of the show has been to that point I doubt it will effect you much
I love that scene
That transition into the next scene was fucked up

So nasty
related, I guess https://pagesix.com/2019/05/28/kit-harington-checked-into-luxury-rehab-for-stress-and-alcohol/
I wouldn't be shocked, he said he went into a pretty bad place after Jon's death in S5
Cause I don't think they told him he was coming back yet
And they have videos of his reaction to the scripts for the final season and you can see his reaction to the ending, it's not good
I mean you even had certain members dropping bread crumbs to make their displeasure about the ending known
Kit included
You don't got to worry about that now, you'll be able to judge it properly when you finish the series in presumably the next 3-4 days
👋 Take it easy
😐
Rheon is a good lad, I have a funny video involving him and a couple of other Game of Thrones stars in that's funny
I'll show you tomorrow
Battle of the bastards is the shit
Ramsay’s || death scene || was oddly satisfying
Of course, he deserved it after doing the worst crime a man could possibly do
You have Pod in 2nd to last tier? No magic cock for you young man 😠
Ramsay is overrated
When you say Ramsay, I can't help thinking of Gordon Ramsey.
Ah.
You sure
I don't think they have the same taste though

Vary's actor 😆 || https://twitter.com/thronesfacts/status/1133506506421284869 ||

lol
If he had at least ||sent out ravens to all the major lords of jon being aegon before dying, it would be slightly better||
oh fuck
no no no no
please do not cut from Jorah's treatment to digging into a goopy pie
bad
if I listen to dany speak even one more sentence I really will do something terrible
what season
for fuck's sake shut up and stop bullying all the likeable characters
7
she's meeting with Jon now
I dont remember dany being bad in s7
entitled idiot baby sometimes naked bitch
who spent six seasons doing absolutely nothing
she built an army over 6 seasons
in boring horse places and sandy places
an army full of boring people
with the exception of Jorah and Barristan
I mean you're partly right
jorah and barristan are great, Tryion was great but isnt very good when he works for dany
man i wish we got to see barristan do a good fight
they killed him off :(
haha someone made me angry so I'll burn them and take off my clothes
enough shut up and please die soon
and now literal fucking idiot s7 Tyrion is harassing Jon to bend the knee to said angry child
Welcome to GoT's final seasons
bruh moment
but the memes gets better as we go into the final season
imagine playing in a sandbox for over sixty episodes so you can make snide remarks at a guy who went and actually died and only wants to save the entire world
her goal is to save the world too but she thinks the big evil is slavery and corrupt leaders
not zombies
she wants the chair because her daddy sat in it
have you paid attention
her goal throughout the series has been to free westeros and everything else
Tyrants always say that shit
slaves no but they're ruled over by the king who causes constant wars and other issues
which she beleives she can cause
she also botched the whole thing and only made it work with constant help of Westeros people
and now she wants to step into the country and rule the whole damn thing
which she deserves zero of
I sleep
finger in the bruh moment
at least Cersei is still perfect and flawless
eh
I prefered her more in early seasons when you didnt know what she was doing
now everything is out in the open and she just does a bunch of shit
@runic dirge feels like you don't like Danny
yup.
more of a Poop Soup kinda funky
it's the generic "oh she's successful because she's for the people" chararcter
with a generous helping of stronk whamen
and then she also just gets literal nukes, making the rest irrelevant anyway.
sad thing she is actually a fan favorite
I've heard that martin considers the dragons analogous to nukes before
yeah
I should read about that somewhere
flat out said that.
after watching some of ||S8 || again I think there's nothing better than he ||getting utterly destroyed by the story|| lol
that and soccer moms naming their daughters after her.
I heard about that in the BGE video, ye
which is a yikes most ponderous after what she did in the end
bge?
didn't he cry about haki again in a super misinformed video?
regurgitated po d cast rant
dude should bulk up on his lore.
miamafv2 is a big and bad meme but that's a conversation for a different channel
well I don't even know where we'd hold that since he's western
anyway yeah
the naming thing is hilarious
You must be a retarded parent to name ur daughter after her hahhahahaha
apparently Jon and Dany become an item
I can't imagine how that's possible
also
who decided to shaft littlefinger
I'm going to be angry
I never liked little finger
I mean i like the whole plotting and shit
thats great
but him as a person is lame
he was always trying to get sansa onto the path where they would end up together
You mean you liked him when they were still using book material and hate him after they stripped him of all personality and intellect once they ran out?
It's almost as if D&D are hacks...oh but that certainly can't be true
they're not complete shit
they gave up on Got so they could go suck disneys dick to work on starwars
Which makes them complete shit
clearly
bad people with some talent
They should have made George head writer and had him write an alternate ending for the last few seasons
he's already too busy to write his own books
why would he write everything for the show
then S7-8 would've been delayed indefinitely
He wrote a lot for the show actually
books are probably gonna have the same ending but a different journey to that ending
But he stopped working with them when they caught up
Rumor has it they stopped listening to him
There was no way they could do the book ending justice in 8 seasons
like i cant imagine ||Bran would ever be king in GRRM's verision, unless its because of 3ER shit||
thats one theory I saw
for the books
When Jon died, Bran took over his body. Jons spirit went into Ghost. So ||Bran becomes king|| was something GRRM Told them but in reality, ||he becomes King through Jon||.
thats not a great theory
doubtful
||bran becoming king seems like something George would do||
well, thats not the theory. the actual theory has a lot more depth to it
||he'd be a play on the god emperor theory of an ideal ruler||
it does seem possible
but ||There would have to be alot more 3ER devolpment imo, bran from the shows no way lol||
||Unless Bran does more affecting the past and the present he has no reason to be king||
the show screwed itself because of its limitations and they clearly wanted to avoid magic stuff
they wanted to avoid story lines
||Euron could've been such an amazing character||
they wanted to make everything simple and able to be taken at face value
Except that ||Bran|| is 10 years old in the books, I don't see George ||making a literal child king||.
but he's more than that because of the 3 eyed raven thing. He could live through others, so that 10 year old child, could have decades of experience at his disposal.
||Euron|| is significantly better in the books, why they thought it was a good idea to try and fuse him with his brother ||Victarion|| I'll never understand
Bran will be older by the end
He turned into an ||unfeeling robot person|| in the shows, there is no indication he'll become that way once his training with ||the Three Eyed Crow|| is finished
They fucked up euron
The actor for euron was so excited to be on the show cause he is a huge fan of the books
but then he found out who his character was
The year barely turned into AC 300 in the books, so at worst if George goes down the route the show did ||he'd be all of 11||
As cliched as it would be ||I want to see Jon on the throne|| in the end, I highly doubty George will do that but still
Gendry for the throne
that will never happen
got has shown us many times that heirs to the thrones arent good for the kingdom
You don't just decide that someone who is as honorable, even keeled, and strong as ||Jon|| wouldn't be the perfect choice to lead your nation.
ppl think that bran took control of hodor , but the truth hodor took control of bran, ||the one sitting on the throne is hodor||
spoiler tags arent up to s8
And yeah I can see George making the Throne and the pursuit of it as some big metaphor for the faults of inherited power but after all the work that has gone into ||Jon|| to the point to not make ||him king|| kinda feels like salt in the wound
i mean, i dont think that would be salt in the wound for me
I dont think ||Jon will be the king i think he can still be the hero who does alot of good shit but not the king, also if fucking jon 1v1's the night king in the books, GRMM Is a hack, no one can 1v1 nightking he has literal super strength and magic powers||
salt in the wound is ||Jon not fighting the night king||
^
it's like ||Luffy not finding One Piece||
jon fighting the night king makes sense
him defeating him doesnt
NIght king has magic powers and super strenght no man can 1v1 him
You don't know that, Jon killed ||multiple WWs|| in the show, who is to say the NK is this uber strong warrior who is leagues better than his underlings?
Logic is
Besides the fact there is no NK in the books so it's a moot point
wait fr
Yeah
like not fully introduced or not at all
Not at all
There was a character in a story Bran once told who was called the Night's King but it's separate
George has honestly barely touched the Others (that's what they're called in the books) or the Wights
damn
I wonder if the show will affect his books in any way
now i could actually see jon defeating the undead if theres no super leader
He doesnt read fan theories, so he wont be influecned by them, so i assume he does something similar with the show
it would be best for his writing
The extent of it being the opening scene from season 1 where the Night's Watch brothers found the dead Wildlings and then 2 of them got killed by 1, the scene where Jon saved LC Mormont by throwing a torch at the one Wight they brought in, Jon seeing an Other take Craster's child, the battle at the Fist of the First Men (which was offscreened in the show), Sam killing an Other with a Dragonglass dagger, some opening prologue from Dance I believe where a Wildling got killed by Wights, and a letter Jon got from Cottor Pyke when he went up to Hardhome asking for reinforcements cause there were Wights there
"Dead things in the trees, dead things in the water" I believe was the phrased used
the guy who escaped was left with the only choice to go back just to get executed
Indeed
bran was kinda interesting when he was traveling to the 3eR
now he's just
A computer
how did you know that!!!! Wow!!!
also he had two hot ass chicks traveling with him, 2 wolves and a giant but couldnt do shit
he's just a walking, erm, rolling bruh moment
Chill dude, Meera was like 15-16 when they left together

but otherwise i was just hyping up his traveling party
I forget the other girl's name
a wildling lady who was trying to escape the north to go south, but her group attacked bran and they got killed except for hero
good facial expressions
man i wish hodor was still around
You know the show changed Theon's sister's name because it was too similar to Osha's?
In the books I mean
yeah i found out a couple days ago
Her real name is Asha
Hodor could of been a mecha fighter for bran
He could of used Hodor to kill the night king
I wonder if peak performance hodor could Beat the mountain
They're both giants
Warg into Jaime, and then into the Mountain, and then into Hodor
triple powerup!!!
You know the Mountain in the books is about 8 ft and 420 pounds of pure, rapey muscle?
yeah and he would be in the show too, but a 8ft tall guy wasnt around to do the job
whom? Mountain?
Sandor (the hound) Has been trying to get revenge on the mountain for the whole show
They got a dude who was about 7 ft and a pro weightlifter to do it, not bad
but he doesnt go after him mtoo often
oh Gregor is the Mountain
Yup
Yeah
I thought it was the other way around
Nah
Credit where credit is due, George has a good knack for choosing nicknames
