must have a cult following
only thing that could explain why it has been airing for so long..
i used to be a spn fan
but that was back in 2013, whenever i see hardcore fans in the year 2019 i get shocked
its because its managed to stay a fun mix of action/comedy/horror over the years and build a decent universe around it.
Didn't completely destroy itself like most CW shows have
yea the guy who plays lucifier does a good job
underrated imo but i havent really heard anyone see anything negative about him. havent heard anyone really talk about the show a whole lot either lol but it is worth watching

I am just tired of two humans constantly winning to beings that can turn them into ash with just a snap of a finger
Seriously Just kill them
Stop the monologue and slit their throats
Dont bother gloating . JUST KILL
The show is just two guys asspulling their way through cause protagnists. Killing cosmic beings is like opening a can of pickles
I just find the show really just revolving around two guys so much like some circle jerk
I think he was talking about Supernatural.
the guy who plays lucifer is tom ellis and i admit he really plays the role well
oh i never watched supernatural back in the day but my friend loved it
they're still making episodes??
lol
@stuck vector yea he does
They are going to kill God
By some miracle
Cause lucifer's son is soul less
Come on easiest solution: God give his soul back
Oh wait Souls are a complicated topic
That even God cant do anything so it kill
pls tell me ur talking about spn
Jack
supernatural was pretty good when it was mostly "monster of the week" style
Sam Dean And their sidekick Castiel
it was refreshing and fun
It more of what else for them to kill
i dropped supernatural around whatever season it was where sam lost his soul and dean goes into purgatory
I dropped around season 4 or 5
Like it getting old. They win every time
the first few seasons are lit tho, I'll probably rewatch at some point
It quite insulting for them to show Pagan Gods as human eating monsters
Leviathans look more like Lampreys
God was so bored. He created cosmic Lampreys
Show was only meant to go 5 seasons, gotta say I'd probably have been fine if it did. The cliffhanger would've been painful but tolerable
God was such a lousy caretaker
Angels near extinction
God:would be nice if Heaven crash down on Earth then I can move on to the Next Earth
He make many different Earths but program the Angels the same way all the time
Instigate the same thing Sam and Dean solution over and over again
Odd
Have anyone seen a man plant a apple tree over and over again hoping for an orange
Or seen a man make house out of straw over and over again hoping it become house of bricks
Why did you post some deep ass shit?
Because he secretly hates himself for still watching Supernatural while feeling this way about it. lol

Yeah I only watch sneak bits
Just watching it to wait for that moment that they fail
Watching those shows to me is like looking up at a porn video after I'm finished being innapropriate with myself. Same disgusting feeling.
😂
Watch the final trailer for Toy Story 4, and see the film in theaters June 21. Woody has always been confident about his place in the world and that his prio...

Duke Caboom is already the best character
smh
is it out already
Don't think so
That glass scene was an automatic no for me
I'm hearing Aladdin is great tho
Early screenings
I have seen #Brightburn. And I have decided NOT to review it.
The only thing I want to say on the matter is that @wbpictures would be making an error if they let #TheSuicideSquad be an R rated picture. I don’t feel this... creative team can handle the responsibility.
124
1119
I'll probably still prefer the animated version
People that get invited to see it early probably
If it does poorly, it'll suddenly do great at the foreign box office, as is Disney tradition.
When does lion king come out
Not really looking forward to any of them besides maybe aladdin
Heard mulan has a massive budget
Gonna be some detective pikachu looks
Detective Pikachu looks great
at least lion king is all cgi. Aladdin is clean ass clothes, pretty people, Will Smith playing Will Smith. Just kinda lost what made it what it was.
I just wanna see all these movies back on the big screen
Disney got the money and we all know it
the forty thieves one was great
I need to rewatch princess and the frog
I had such high hopes for it as a kid but it fell flat for me
Maybe I was a dumb kid
probably
bad pasto
omggg gonna see endgame for the third time again 🤩🤩
It the end for your wallet
I don't like this poster
he swallowed his tongue
Ragnarok & Antman 2
Ragnarok and Captain Marvel look cool
GotG and Dr. Strange
None
Not a fan of these ensemble posters wish people were more attracted to other types so they didnt need the feel to do this kind
Avengers, guardians if the galaxy and ragnarok
Spiderman homecomings poster is pretty bad too
Thor, civil war and antman and the wasp pretty cool too
I take that back about the thor poster, its just nostalgia spooking
ragnarok, gotg2, infinity war
THIS IS SO BAD
is his suit black and red now?
You guys aren't thinking deep enough
His suit is black and red, which as Albair here said, is the color of Miles Morales' suit
Which can only mean one thing
Spider-verse cameo confirmation
Im on my way to be casted as miles morales
it does have the multiverse in it
that'd be a cool twist
Have Donald Glover show up as Miles Morales.
jaden smith*
Why would anyone want him in their movies? Everything he's associated with sucks.
Just have Donald Glover and have Miles be older than this Peter. It's Disney. They've one worse changes than that.
That would suck
The only movie he was good in was Pursuit of happyness and that's because he was 8 years old.
Why does miles have to be older then Peter
Aren't they supposed to be the same age?
Why not? Don't need two awkward "I've just hit puberty" spidermen running around. Need a more mature one to balance out the other.
Wait until Peter is older then cast a young miles
They could still cast a Young Miles down the road. Nothing wrong with having a grown version of him in an upcoming movie. Or any older spiderman really.
Donald glover is actually miles uncle in that universe

Donald Glover might play Prowler
Wait doesn't he already play someone in the mcu
Ye
Wait miles is in the mcu
I dont think he is his uncle in the mcu
Just a random thug from the neighborhood
Afaik
I'm lost
i think miles’ uncle is possibly in the mcu, he was in homecoming
I thought we were talking about donald glover
Yes thats who donald plays
Aaron Davis
Miles’ uncle
oh. I thought he was just a random character cameo. Id be fine with him as prowler, especially if he's done as well as he was in spiderverse.
Well hes definitly miles uncle but idk if theyll have him he prowler as well
He even says he has a nephew in the movie as a lil easter egg
It wasn't stated as Prowler
Just Aaron Davis
He even called Miles in Homecoming
hype/marketing. They're really just high budget hallmark films. Even the acting skills required are roughly the same.
they're fun for fans. Then somebody figured out "What if we make everybody a fan?" and now here we are. Some are better than others, but its the same recycled formula for the most part.
My opinion still applies. But i'll keep that in mind and not pay attention to whatever else you type from now on. thanks for the heads up.

lul
Stormlight archive, anyone?
me, I just started book 2
I fucking love brandon sanderson, I'm glad he is improving a lot
Rebel lmao
Imo each MCU movie have a different experience to offer. As for CM I have no idea about that one. It's the only one I haven't seen.
anyone tried euphoria?
Jude law was pretty good in captain marvel
star wars fans who were disappointed by this season , how do u feel about the next episode?
The thing tho is that he is 70 years old
And hes getting involved in more and more shit
And the last book would take him longer regardless
So if he releases winds of winter at 71, i would give him like 15 years for the last book
86?
Idk average life spawn is like 75 in north america i think, but hes rich so that could increase a lot
Also past 80 we cant be sure if he will still have that level of creativity
Tho he most likely already has a rough draft of how it would end
Idk man, seems like a 50/50 chance to me
Yeah, have you seen him? He's probably not writing the book because he's been waiting on a heart attack for the last few years. lol
I swear a day before the 2020 thing he said he wouldn't give a deadline
@copper phoenix ryt? Book 2 huh? I love it. Shallan is best girl frfr
8 years and counting for Winds
I just found out that Empire isn't the only show FOX is cancelling. Star's also on the chopping block.
Lee Daniels holding 2 Ls like his name this year
I've been watching Coco again and I forgot how good this movie was
"(popular musician) was everything a musician was and he died by a bell falling on him"
"I want to be just like him"
It later turns out that ||said-musician is nothing but a murderer.||
@regal root sighs Pretty much. 😦
||And they ended season three of Star on such a cliffhanger, too. :(||
It also looks incredibly stunning
Right!?
I heard it's had bad ratings from the start so I'm surprised it's lasted 3 seasons to be honest
Empire obviously had to go because people are still pissed at Jussie Smollett, as they should be because he's the worst kind of asshole
Then you'd get the whiny fans of Jussie screeching and whatnot, just wasn't worth it
It's had 6 seasons, decent enough run
Sigh. Fine.
Though, if it were me, I'd tell all of the whiny fans to fuck off.
Jussie should've gone to jail for what he did, and that bitch, Kim Foxx, should be disbarred.
Hence why you're not a head of a TV company XD
I agree
Total miscarriage of justice, but oh to be rich and famous
I hope Chicago sues Smollet's ass!
I honestly didn't want to believe that he made a false accusation, but when I saw the evidence the CPD gathered, I thought: 'Oh, my god. He really did it.'
We have too many African-Americans dying in the streets of Chicago, and he has to go and take advantage of the pain of racism to boost his stupid salary!
He makes me sick! DX
Endgame
@regal root Thanks for the 100. 😃
@mighty mist Star is some hot trash
its pretty ridiculous to make it simple
but then again, you are a fan of Empire right?
so you are into this genre which Im not saying is a bad thing
Uh...yeah. 😐
Isn't empire cancelling
because of that actor controversy ?
that guy who faked being jumped
that is how I feel about Got's final season
hugs you
hugs you for longer than necessary
It's like, everything time I find a show that I really love, it gets cancelled and I think 'Why do I even bother?'
Okay.
my game of thrones marathon trudges forwards relentlessly
and the red wedding was a massive dissapointment, not that I had any expectations for it
I wouldn't say I dislike anything that I've seen so far, it's all very decent
I guess my biggest complaint would be that there's never any good fighting or choreography
and my second biggest that the dialogue is repetitive and conversations are incredibly formulaic
since the show and characters are all so clever and witty and cunning and all that
they all play off each other in the exact same way
but there are a few gems mixed in, meaning Grandpa Lannister makes everyone else look bad
I don't really have a good reason to not keep watching at this point I guess
After hearing all of the not-so-nice things about GoT, I'd rather read the books. 😐
books boring show boring
however
if you're a fan of either medium you should love them
How are the books boring?
too many words
They can't be that bad.
but I am a hack
they're fantastic books
it's just I don't really have the patience for them
unfortunately I don't find the show that compelling either
And didn't LOTR books have too many words, too?
I similarly have no love for them
I'm one of those awful people who likes the hobbit trilogy more than the mainline lotr films
not that I've seen any of them since I was a kid but still
Okay. 😐
maybe I'll watch them all again
I should
and yeah, you should either read the books or watch the show if you're interested I guess
there's a lot of content in the books and the show finally wrapped up
which is the only reason I'm finally getting into it
Right.
I would recommend them strongly to anyone who's a fan of the genre
and who is also more patient than me
Okay.
Nah i get u roro
Im not a huge fan of very descriptive writing idk
But ask me why i hate tywin after shit goes down. You’ll know what that means when it happens
Nah he’s just a ||shit dad to tyrion and i wont forgive that||
unfortunate
Sup roro
👋
wtf albair, you telling me you dont like reading 10 pages of leaf description?

Thats why i dropped harry potter after the 4th book
Too descriptive for my taste
Care more about whats happening than what it looks like
I'm honestly curious how Tyrion would've turned out if Tywin had been a decent person to him, I think he might have ended up as a bit of a dick (more so than usual I mean)
What I mean by that is that I feel Tyrion only turned into the person we love because of how rough his life had been, and that if he had it easier (say by Tywin not being a massive cock to him) that Tyrion wouldn't have his edge or a chip on his shoulder
Anyone here watch Legion?
About to see Brightburn
Oof, finally saw Endgame. Was as good as I'd hoped it be, probably gonna dissect it to hell for the plot once the euphoria wears off but as of now I think I liked it as much as I did Infinity War.
I liked it more than infinity wars. Both were really fun to watch the first time though
He is
I will die on that hill
@pale tapir i watch legion
Its great
Very bizarre and weird show
Nice!!!
Wish more people watched it
I'm on the second season
Its a good time man
I feel like s2 just gets more bizarre
Mind you I can sympathize with him to a degree because from a young age he had to take the lead on restoring his House's name but that still doesn't excuse him being such an unrepentant asshole to his son.
I feel like the way they tell the story is creative
Like u kinda just have to analyze certain things at times
Yeah, and the thing I like about it so far, is that the story pieces together
And it's so layered
Each episode reveals something new
It's linear, but it's got a lot of depth
Also yea buc. The shit he did was just so sadistic man. Like even cersei wouldnt do that
Yea strong
I gotta rewatch everything
Finding out ||Lenny is still alive was a nice twist||
I wonder when they'll expand on David's ||different personas, because that's a big deal in the comics||
I know we saw one of them last season, but I want more
Cause technically he does have multiple personality disorder
Yea its something to look forward to
But its also somethung that needs to be handled in maybe a bit at a time
Cuz uh
Shit can get too much real fast since he has so many
Yeah
I'm going by like 1-2 episodes a day at most
It's a trippy show
And bingeing it won't let me experience it right I feel
Yea i remember i watched it as it was airing
Shoukd be getting a new season soon i hope
Yep, it's coming in June
Or July, not sure
The third season trailer is out
Yep, 24th of June @sonic quail
I saw it somewhere online, but I haven't watched it cause it'll probably have spoilers I'm sure
Yea
I think theyre better about not revealing too much in their trailers tho
Its pretty easy not to since shit is so insane that anything out of context is hard to explain or grasp

Like showing him dancing with people in the pysch ward from the first season
Bright burn was FUCKED up
lol it felt a bit campy in some areas but overall interesting concept and I wonder if they’ll do more with it , I liked it over all
Huh.
Decided to rewatch Stargate Atlantis since I haven't seen it since it originally aired on tv.. and now I've realized that assassins creed has been ripping the plot from this show a lot.
Wha~t?! D:
@regal root I hear swamp thing is really good
Yeah I saw the trailer, gotta say for a series that (to my knowledge) is a web exclusive it looks good. They got James Wan as an executive producer so that really gets my hopes up
Swamp Thing is pretty legendary from what I understand
Yeah he's a good dude, faces horrifying situations but that is what you would expect from a member of the JL Dark
Plastic man though
Plastic Man>Mr. Fantastic, change my mind
I want a plastin man movie so bad
thor overrated
k
I like my stupid side heroes
Plastic Man is pretty op
Didn't Superman say that Plastic Man could kill everyone if he wanted to?
Stuff like this is why
Plastic Man has never really gotten over being a comedic superhero besides in Injustice
not loading for me
Plastic Man cosplays as Wonder Woman
lmao

I wonder if DC version of Endgame
Justice league stopping Thanos
Come on,kill me. Do it
Batman: No kill no kill!
Speaking of I finally saw Endgame the other day, was very surprised that the opposite scenario of what I thought would happen happened
Who would of thunk it, a universe mostly comprised of regular people who became heroes is more relatable than a universe mostly comprised of living gods who became heroes
Refuse to kill rule is really irritating
Watching the animated Aladdin
it just reminds me of when i was a kid and arabic dubs of animated movies weren't garbage
and now im just sad
Just wait till you see the live action version and it makes you want to die inside
dont worry buc
im wasnt planning on it
imma keep watching and compare the english songs with the arabic songs
I think you mean Blu Will
Everyone knew that Will Smith would be the best part of the movie
Long before it got released
I love Will Smith, but I DON'T love him as Genie.
@neon coral indeed I do
I'm glad he's getting good publicity for once. He's gotten chewed out a lot for his movies of late and he's a cool dude. Didn't expect him to be considered the best part
If you like him in Aladdin, fine. Me? I'm still not watching the remake.
I should probably drop got tbh
Favorite Aladdin film is still King of Thieves
took a nap halfway through s4e2 and I can't imagine picking it back up every again
it's so samey
you pretty watched all the decent stuff already
every conversation and character and episode is basically the same as the one before it
its fine if you drop
the only person I really care about at this point is theon
lol
his actor is fantastic as well
its interesting
Drop it
Weren’t you the guy who said he start got like 3-4 days ago?
And you’re already in season 4
Its normal that you feel the way your feeling if you binge watch it that way
Nah, that's just how roro is. Don't think it has anything to do with binging.
Yea i binged it too and didnt feel that i dont think and many others as well. Its just his take
Speaking of binging, I'm going through stargate atlantis right now. Might do farscape after but I'm really tempted to go find Battlestar Galactica
that show is the origin of Binging.
U enjoying it?
Atlantis? Ya.
I loved SG1. I only caught parts of Atlantis on Space/Sci fi network when it was airing but never got to see it all.
Those early/mid 2000 Sci fi shows always have a lot of passion and lore. Even the filler dialogue is great and entertaining and the casts are always so diverse. They also never try to be relevant to modern times/political, etc. Makes escaping into those worlds a lot more enjoyable. Plus, Jason Momoa's in this. I think it was his first break
is SG suppose to be a sequel to star trek or are they two different things?
lmao
It started from a movie, which got turned into a tv series.
then that series got 2 spin offs, Atlantis & something else(Which didn't work out but was kinda cool from what I remember)

hmmm
i may check out the 90s movie
the only star i watch is star wars but i was thinking about watching star trek at some point since i always see memes of it lol
in a nutshell
OG Star Wars trilogy is great. The Clone wars animated series & Star Wars Rebels are top tier too.
yea. if you really want more content you should check out the books. there are alot of great hidden gems and stories there with characters you never knew existed
Star Trek is a lot slower paced and more political. The Next Generation is a good place to start with that. I love the cast and the atmosphere but it's not my cup of tea. Stargate is kind of a mix of both, with ancient human civilization/history playing a big role. Farscape is just brilliant to me.
tbh i liked movies 1-3 though. they got a lot of hate but I enjoyed the ride
I liked 1 the most.
that is the feeling i get when i look at star trek previews lol it is an older show though
That opinion got Simon Pegg to call me a wanker
yea phantom menace was awesome
the duels in movie 3 were probably some of the best though
I read a few of the SW books. The Bane books are amazing
but darth maul is a badass sith
i started to read some of it but had to put it down. it was getting interesting though
Darth Maul plays a big part in Star Wars Rebels. He shows up in Clone Wars too.
i read the darth plagueis novel and definitely worth reading if you are a star wars fan or just a fan of fiction/scifi even
oh yea once you know more of the backstory
I started looking at the movie from the perspective of Palpatine instead of Anakin/Obi-Wan/Quigonn
and you can kinda tell how devious he is and calculating. And knowing that Plagueis was ||Around until the very end of that movie, made it even better||
the books are just so good though. not even from a star wars fan point of view but from a regular reader. the authors do an amazing jobs on them from the narration, dialogue, descriptions, etc..
just the story telling overall
yea palpatine is a major mastermind
The Revan & Malgus ones were just as good as Bane, especially if you played the games
i dont think i have yet. there are so many star wars novels out there lol thats why i like them because its kind of like OP- its never ending almost lol
If you played through kotor 1 & 2, the revan book is almost a must.
i havent been able to play those games but the gameplay looks cool
i want to eventually play
is that also the mmo they have out now?
i forgot what it's called
swtor
kotor 1 is on mobile now. but its pretty cheap on steam and runs well on there.
i saw people make fan videos out of them that lasted hours lol
can you play swtor on apple products
swtor was great at launch. It got EA'd though
ill check it out
the individual class stories were amazing. you felt your character grow
I played as a Sith Juggernaut. Friend was an inquisitor and other a bounty hunter. We somehow got really lucky and got all the top-tier gear within a week of hitting level cap.
i wanted to play inquisitor looking at the previews for it
EA eventually added a bunch of paywalls, XP/leveling caps, forced name changes(Which resulted in alot of the first players losing their names to people who wanted them and logged in first to claim other user names).
i played alot of WoW and tried diablo 3 though
so you could only have 6/30 abilities on your bar, making you useless. If you died, you couldn't respawn unless you paid
lol thats lame. so you could only use a few of your abilities at a time if you didnt pay?
Last time I played WoW was uhm
Pandaria
ya, pretty much.
wasn't like that at first. It's when they made it free to play.
WoW is not nearly the game it used to be. it started to go downhill after lich king. i only play on a free account (lvl 20) from time to time
Even paying, you still had ads on the game and other issues caused by the f2p(Dungeons and raids would take forever, and sometimes be impossible because f2p players would join in and either be unable to help, or die)
Ya, Lich King was peak.
yea any mmo player could see how that would be annoying lol
Cata was ok at first but flying around azeroth killed the magic the world had. exploring became a chore
the world felt smaller, and druids kept attacking people and flying off.
My first time downing Lich King, I released near the end of the fight and lost out on my achievement lmao
i remember cata starting the downfall. towards the end of the expac they started to come out with "easy button" modes that allowed players to pretty much face roll through all the content with things like raid finder and what not
lol that happened alot to people
LK was when they made minor adjustments from BC and vanilla but didnt go overboard and water everything down while handing everything out to players also like they started to do during cata
it felt balanced and fun/competitive
yeah, and the new area + dungeons were fun. I loved the music in Grizzly hills and all the Vykrul stuff
yea LK was a good villian too
had great cinematics from that expac also
i enjoyed BC also but i didnt start playing until the end of it
I started off as Shaman, did that arena raid and got a drop everyone wanted, so some guy gave me 40M gold for it, which was a lot at the time.
Then I started up a warrior and It became all I played.
lol that is when they first came out with multi person mounts during that expac i think
revisiting BC raids during wrath of the lich king was one of my favorite things
lol warrior is like the only thing i havent played alot of
YOU ARE NOT PREPARED
older raids are way more fun than what they are now
no king rules forever my son...
that quest was awesome
LIGHT, GRANT ME ONE FINAL BLESSING...
they make WoW books too lol
and they are good reads like the star wars novels
low chance drop from rare elites on an island. You get a book, you do this huge quest chain and you end up going solo through Illidans fortress, doing stealth stuff
back when legendaries actually meant something
now you can get them through random drops lol
and it was the toughest fight ever. you had to do everything perfectly. was like a solo raid
i have a warglaive and thunderfury on my rogue but i got it years later from the expac they came out in lol
and the reward was Felfire for your Warlock. and a cool title. Then they nerfed it because people felt it was unfair they had to work to get felfire
I never got a warglaive
i did the shadowmourne and the legendary mace questline from ulduar also
but this was after all of their expacs
so they didnt have as much value
Did get Invincible & time lost proto though
i just wanted to do it lol
i never got invincible
lol
i may have time lost proto
"Why do they call it invincible if you can see it"
i forgot what it is
DID SOMEBODY SAY [THUNDERFURY, BLESSED BLADE OF THE WINDSEEKER]!?
i also dude sulfuras, hand of ragnaros quest idk if you can still get the mace though
since they redid MC in a different expac
but none of the legendaries i got were during the expac they came out in lol
it was after when it was easier to do as a higher lvl
You still could up to the end of Pandaria, I think. They also had the new version of it in Cata I think
legendaries arent as rare as they used to be either
ya, in making it more approachable to the casual players, they kinda forsake the people who stuck around.
but the game is dieing. its obvious to anyone who used to play and plays now
idk how many more expacs they are going to do
they are still making the movie for it though i think
yea
they set up a potential LK 2.0 expac since bolvar ended up taking the crown at the end of wotlk but idk if its going to happen
did you see any of the backstory to legion? where it turned out illidan was good this whole time
I tried the beta for that but didn't really like demon hunter
the concept was cool
thats all I played of it though
yea demon hunters were fun because you could double jump and glide lol
dude the Lord of War previews blizz came out with during WoD were epic
here is one of them: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FRnabRRi1ik
Grommash Hellscream’s legend was not born from mere brutality or conquest. His indomitable will helped him survive the impossible . . . but only after his re...
that is one thing blizz does well most of the time- their cinematics
ive been temporary banned before lol
I made a Gnome Hunter, had spare money at the time so I bought the expansion and it gave me a free level cap character, so I used it on him. Decided I wanted one of those high level engineering rocket mounts. I spent around 80k Gold to get everything I needed to craft it and it was glitched, so my gnome would just hover awkwardly in it and keep phasing through. Contacted blizzard about it and they told me its not their problem.
I just wanted them to look into fixing it, or to refund me my mats and take the rocket away(Something I know they can do) and was treated like shit, after years of subbing.
lol his little umbrella
he is torturing one of the warlords you should check out the video. there are 6 parts for each one of the warlords and how they got their reputation i think
so I contacted my bank and had them reverse the pre order on the expansion. that was that.
just added to my watch list on youtube
oh yea sometimes GMs can be a pain
i would have done the same lol
this is the demon hunter one also
In this new animated short, follow the tale of an Illidari recruit and Illidan's elite corps of demon hunters as they prepare to engage the Burning Legion fo...
or one of them
did you watch the warlord one with grammosh?
I just added it to my list. skimmed through to get an idea of what it was first. I'm about to head to bed and don't wanna start those tonight lol
That was good conversation. But nows my time to sleep. Goodnight!
End game was trash
I'll respectfully disagree with that statement but to each their own
GoT season 8 was trash 😂
A lot of people have been saying that.
Probably because it's true
its even worse because he is a book fan
I think there was a very old interview where he said his character would make ramsay look like a bitch
yeah about that
Yikes
this show is going to be so much more boring without Joffrey
I'm upset
he's easily one of my favorite characters
Star Wars, Harry Potter, 2 different x men movies, beauty and the beast, SVU, and criminal minds all on at once. Why doesnt tv have this good of a selection all the time
2017 live action
@runic dirge joffrey is easily the most entertaining character in the series imo
@scenic terrace Ugh. Pass.
Disagree Oli. I’d say the problem was ||tyrion leaving Kingsq Lansing, along with Baelish rarely being there and Varys not doing much anymore||
||altho joffreys death caused those events||
Yeah all that too
All these recent disney remakes made me realize how good the originals actually are 😂
I'm fr bouta fuck around and rewatch svu for the 4th time
also the beauty and the beast live action movie was good
seeing how it was legit the animated movie with like an extra 10 second scene on how belle's mom croaked
The aladin one doesnt seem to be as bad as i thought it would it be
people are really liking it
Seems so
I still hate the live action remakes.
And did anyone see the recent Delta commercial?
Got a lot of respect for Jack Gleeson ending his acting career to pursue a path of academia, dude is apparently wicked smat irl
Neat. 😃
Did Gleeson sing the credits song or not
The YouTube comments were split over it
Either way it was a fantastic touch
The credits scene on what, the episode he died in?
Yeah
They had him singing The rains of castamere
Or someone who sounded like him, at least
No it wasn't sung by him, it was sung by Sigur Rós. They're an icelandic rock band, they performed it during the episode itself before Joffrey politely told them to piss off
The Hound is adorable
Hound is best dad
@dim hedge s4e6
I've decided to sit through the whole thing now that it's ended
Probably not much
S4
Is that past the books?
Yeah I believe it is.
season 5 is when itt starts entering non-book territory
Yeah outside of the book material Season 5 was garbage
Also probably because 1-4 were bout 90-95% source material
I enjoyed the season 6 arc || with the faith ||
it was well done
I mean this is season 6 😰
but very well il be considerate
And mind you just because 1-4 were about 90-95% made off book material doesn't mean they used 90-95% of the books, they left a shit ton out
it breaks my heart knowing people are going to love the show only to be ||utterly disappointed||
I mean, he has 4 others out so
well
we have a date now
but I mean
that literally means nothing especially with GRRM
Oh shit, GRRM giving out soft dates again for Winds to drop?
Not like we've been waiting 8 years or anything
yeah he posted it on his blog
something along the lines of if he didn't release it by that date
'fans could imprison him'
let me get the date one sec
I mean, regardless his book is going to sell extremely well
the world con is in the summer of 2020
Yeet
Gotta say, I really enjoyed the first Sansa and Arya chapters of Winds he dropped
Got me hooked
Arianne's were a bit ehh but they should pick up soon enough after she reaches Storm's End
I remember we were discussing the good aspects of the final season after the last episode aired and I don't think anyone here mentioned how good of a job Ramin Djawadi
did, I think some of his best work came from s8
Ramin is a G, he might be the best TV composer of this generation
he aight is an understatement
@dim hedge I'm only watching it because I watched a bunch of stuff about s8 lol
got would have probably slipped past me if Mauler hadn't posted anything about it
So don't worry about spoilers
I know how it all ends, roughly
Too lazy to click one button
Torrenting is EZ
Strongly recommend
I just wish the show had a better OP
Do they really use the same one all eight seasons
I hate the music
Some parts of it at least
it normally shifts to whatever is relevant in the episode
Boring OP for a boring show
OMG!!!!!
Now that is genius
Boring but not as boring as her sister
Angry pointy girl
I know she gets really OP later on
Aew
He's in Season 4 now
But the show isn't there yet
Never seen Book of Life
you should check it out
I love movies that have to do with Mexican culture
then you'll also enjoy the book of life
probably
I like mythology and shit like that
legends and what not
I might be in the minority but I really liked the prince of Egypt
don't care for religion things but I found it cool
I watched it as a kid and was convinced I was a prophet briefly
@sage sleet I liked The Prince of Egypt, too. 😃
That's the Disney movie about Moses right
No, Dreamworks, Tsubasa.
I see
it's the same one as shrek right?
Yes.
Shrek was a sequel
@sage sleet tons of people love Prince of Egypt
You are not in the minority
Trust me
They got whack taste
There are movies that I love like Under the Skin and the Star Wars Prequels where I can understand why people don't like them
But Prince of Egypt.....
Yeah, I think you need to watch it more than once to fully appreciate it
It's a movie where the more you read into it, the better it gets
Treasure Plant is your favorite movie
Are we just going to name unpopular movies that we love?
For me, Star Wars prequels and og Scooby Doo movie
It was originally going to be an R rated comedy that was making fun of parts of the Scooby Doo cartoon
Like, Velma and Daphne would have been lesbians
aaaaaaa
Fred would have been an overconfident dude who fails at everything
disney wasn't using all their brain
Ugh. Song of the South.
Yo, I looked up some of the Anastasia soundtrack
This song is so amazing
Anastasia music video, in the dark of the night ** ALL rights belong to their respective copyright holders ** NO COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT INTENDED. I DO NOT OW...
But the visuals really don't match it
Don't match it? 😐
You do realize that the bugs were there feeding off of the corpses, right? 😐
Oh.
I remember i thought anastasia was too dark when i was a kid
Aladin and lion king were probably my favourite kids movies back in the 90s 😂
Aww. ^^

GoT rant, btw.
You haven’t even watched the show why bother watching this haha
Because I'm subscribed to her? 😐
Yeah no point of watching, everyone seems to universally agree about what went wrong with season 8
Which is sad that it ended the way that it did. 😦
Yep its mostly one reason that caused a domino effect
Domino effect?
Its like when one real problem causes multiple other problems
Oh.
it all started with the assassination of archduke franz ferdinand
made a few people mad, started a few wars, and now we have anime
The Domino Effect ™

The Assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand is the most important event in the 20th century
Yup.
which season is the best from GoT? (please dont drop spoilers i barely finished the 2nd)
so far i dont really understand the hype for the series
It might not be for u then
I think most people who start watching got now start with too high expectations because of all the hype, then yall get disappointed
Considering ur in the midst of watch the best seasons according to most people
It could also just be a “miss” tho
Not the too high expectations thing
Its a genre that many just dont care for to be fair
Ye same lotr isnt appealing to me
i didnt have any expectations whatsoever
i just wanted to see if people do overhype it
and so far it seems like it
5-6/10 for me so far
what bothers me the most is that apart from the season endings
everything feels unbelievably slow
Idk its a subjective thing, but some things can be rated objectively. Its nowhere near shows like the breaking bad but i believe that objectively its better than most tv shows out there for the past decade
yeah and in some episodes im feeling all like
"why are they talking about this shit for 20 minutes now"
when in the end, it didnt matter anyway
😂😂
Roro said something similar
The pacing is what ruined it in the end
||the dragon plot and the white wanderers (im translating from german so dont kill me)||
Yea those are defo the most interesting
But got has always been more about its politics than anythinf
||igritte and the shadow power woman are highkey waifus||
@lilac knoll Personally thought Season 4 was the best but 6 was pretty damn good as well
Also found myself missing certain members of the Season 1 crew just cause I loved Sean Bean and Mark Addy, still a tad jarring to see how old certain younger members of the cast got by the end but they had a hell of a journey
I agree doen
got is an incredibly 5/10 show
it's put together very well, all the characters are interesting enough, and the world and politics are presented well
but mostly, it's boring and samey with a few highlights
it's a very solid show to binge
See i don’t mind dialogue heavy shows as much cuz the conversations are interesting to me. Id say the pacing is fine and moves faster when it needs to. But i also havent watch most of the earlier seasons in years with the exception of a few episodes from s1 and s2.
if only there were better fights
so far the best thing has been the Hound vs Brienne
How far are you so far?
finished s4 last night
so I'm upset about the Hound
||I know he comes back somehow, tho, so hopefully that will be fun||
From a story telling aspect I don't think you'll like Season 5 but there is an episode in there you'll hopefully really enjoy
Also pre warning just in case you had any interest in him, no Bran in Season 5
he's ok
I know what happens with him by the end so it's kinda interesting to watch him do stuff
but I don't really care for him past aesthetics
That's fair
I like cripples
How did you like the ||Battle of Castle Black||?
Probably wouldn't care much but Jon and Ygritte's actors got married irl
Becoming a world known TV star, a multi millionaire, AND getting hitched to a cutie you met on set of said show that made you a TV star? Kit Harrington made off like a bandit
ygritte is ok
but every time she says the meme line I just die a little
and meanwhile I'm just waiting for Dany to do literally anything
Astapor was pretty cool though
which was that one
She tricked that one guy into thinking she was trading him her dragon for control of the slaves warriors then turned them loose on their former masters
ah yes
hopefully season five will be fun
I think that's when Cersei starts losing it and Arya is finally going to braavos
Season 5 was interesting, it contained one of the best episodes of the entire series as well as arguably the worst, personally my most disliked season but to each their own
exciting
I will tell you though that will most likely see a noticeable drop off in writing quality in Season 5 as that was when they stopped primarily using source material from the books
I've heard they're better at adapting, yeah
which books were it that were running concurrently?
4 and 5?
Yeah
cant wait for roro to suffer season 8 with the rest of us
I'd say Season 1-4 were about 90-95% book material, 5 was about 50-60 roughly, 6 was maybe 5, 7 and 8 weren't at all.
Gonna try and phrase this carefully so you'll understand, just because some of those seasons were made up mostly of source material doesn't mean that it was a pure adaption, they left a lot out.
There was a massive plot twist at the end of Book 3 that didn't get touched, which is a shame because I think that's what a large number of books fans wanted to see the most
A storm of swords
which was the twist I mean
||Lady Stoneheart||
no idea who that is lol
||Catelyn Stark brought back from the dead||
interesting
It is, feel like you could've done a lot with that but it is what it is
how did stannis get to the wall anyway
first he's somewhere, then the iron bank, and then north of the wall
Believe he was first at Dragonstone, then iron bank, then used the money he got to buy more men/ships, got to Eastwatch by the Sea, then took his men west to attack the Wildling army
hmm.
If you're not a fan of Stannis I should tell you that he is significantly better in the books, they gutted him personality wise for the show imo
It sucks, they made him such a grumpy bore that even the actor who played him said that he hated the character
ouch
